NIGERIA SHOULD FORGET UNGA SECURITY COUNCIL SEAT WITH TINUBU AS PRESIDENT!

DURING the Spring when Kings normally went to war, David stayed behind in Jerusalem while sending his army to fight the Ammonites. 

BUT his decision to remain in the capital city backfired because he became vulnerable to the “flesh” which deceived him into an act of adultery with his subordinate’s wife, the very beautiful Bathsheba!  The despicable and condemnable misdemeanor of King David further escalated to the MURDER OF URIAH, the legitimate husband of the adulteress! (2 Samuel 11:2-12:23).

In a similar scenario in Nigeria, President of the most populous country in Africa, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stayed back to engage in PALACE BANQUET – surrounded by a King’s Oloris (retinue of wives), and PRAISE SINGERS; having delegated his SURROGATES to attend the august 80th Milestone Anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80), from 9th-29th September 2025.

SPRING, an international transitional season where the weather begins to warm up, flowers bloom, and trees start to grow new leaves can be compared to Nigeria’s though predominantly tropical climate, currently enjoys a wet season which commenced from April/March to October/November but is gradually receding to give way to pleasant sunny atmosphere.

EXAGGERATED EGO IS THE CORRELATION BETWEEN DAVID AND TINUBU.

1. During King David’s reign, it was Spring of the year, a time when kings typically led their troops into battle. But with a retinue of subordinates to represent him, he could afford to stay back in his Palace and fester his harem of seven wives and several concubines through adultery!

2. As for Tinubu, his priority should have been attendance of UNGA 80 Anniversary Commemoration in New York, United States of America where all Presidents and Heads of State and Governments converge annually to brainstorm on Global Events from Politics to Economy, Climate, Armament Pillage, Conflicts Resolution, Aids, Grants, Subventions to Developing Nations etc, find common grounds, reach agreements and proffer feasible solutions BUT he stayed back for the second time in TWO YEARS - 2024 AND 2025, to serenade with a King in Coronation and abandoned the global assignment of international repute for Banqueting and Local Politics!

3. DAVID sent his Commander Joab and the rest of the Israelite forces to fight the Ammonites and besiege the City of Rabbah BUT remained in the Capital, Jerusalem and was entangled with a married woman.

4. Tinubu sent his Vice with a delegation to UNGA but stayed back to BANQUET at a King’s Palace and  intensify his strategy to CAPTURE the entire South West States in the 2027 Presidential Election, a position diametrically opposed to International Politics of exposure and recognition of Nigeria as the true Giant of Africa!

DAVID’S TRAGEDY: COMPLICITY IN ADULTERY AND HOMICIDE!

Failure to be at his designated spiritual locational position marked the beginning of David’s sin and the subsequent homicide that arose from his decision to stay in Jerusalem instead of leading his troops to war. 

Divine Verdict:

David was not exempted from the consequences of his sin. Through His prophet Nathan, God told him that because of his sin, “the sword shall never depart from your house. … I will raise up evil against you from your own household,” and “the child also that is born to you shall surely die”.    (2 Samuel 12:10-11, 14).

 He acknowledged his sin and pleaded with God …..“Cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.” Psalm 51:11).

DID TINUBU WHO TRADED UNGA FOR BANQUETING EXPRESS ANY REMORSE?

No! He always claimed to possess solutions to Nigeria’s myriad of problems which he never prepared to govern for lack of cerebral capacity! 

This disadvantage led to the impetuous and catastrophic REMOVAL OF FUEL SUBSIDY AND MERGER OF OFFICIAL AND PARALLEL FOREX MARKETS IN TWO YEARS OF HIS RUDDERLESS ADMINISTRATION!

A. Tinubu is unaware that The Almighty God controls the Affairs Men; that He is responsible for the changing of times and seasons; that He removes and establishes kings; that He gives wisdom and knowledge and reveals deep and hidden things; with light dwelling with Him and His knowledge extending into darkness!

B. TINUBU IS UNAWARE OF GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY OVER HUMAN HISTORY AND THE AFFAIRS OF MAN OTHERWISE HE WOULD NOT HAVE COVETED THE LOFTY OFFICE OF PRESIDENCY UNPREPARED!

THE OCTOGENARIAN UNGA!

The UN General Assembly’s 80th anniversary in 2025 commemorates 80 years of the United Nations, established after World War II to foster international law and human rights. At UNGA 80, the theme is “Better together: 80 years and more for peace, development and human rights,” emphasizing a recommitment to multilateralism and collaborative solutions for global challenges, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

 

SIGNIFICANT IMPORTANCE OF THE WORLD BODY!

1. The assembly serves as a platform to reflect on the UN’s achievements, address current issues like the funding crisis and geopolitical conflicts, and chart a path for a more inclusive and responsive multilateral system. 

2. The 80th session marks a significant milestone for the United Nations as a central platform for global collective action and cooperation and the anniversary theme underscores the urgency of renewing commitments to multilateralism, solidarity, and shared solutions for both people and the planet. 

3. Heads of State and Government and UN officials reflected on the achievements of the past eight decades and discussed on how to build a more inclusive and effective multilateral system. 

4. The 80th session convenes during a period of challenge to multilateralism, with discussions focused on navigating the changing world order. 

5. Highlighted the urgent need to deliver on the promise of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reinvigorate global cooperation to achieve them. 

Artificial Intelligence Governance:

6. The World leaders gathering also discussed the framework for inclusive and accountable global Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance and addressed its risks and uneven benefits. 

7. On UN Financing and Reform, the chronic funding crisis due to unpaid dues, along with discussions on the need for a more inclusive and responsive system, were prominent on the agenda.

TINUBU MISSED ATTENDANCE OF THIS GATHERING OF WORLD LEADERS FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS BUT HAS THE AUDACITY TO REQUEST FOR: 

A SEAT IN THE SECURITY COUNCIL AND DEBT FORGIVENESS FROM GLOBAL LEADERS WHOM HE AVOIDED LIKE PLAGUE!

President Bola Tinubu has continuously DE-MARKETED NIGERIA since his inglorious DEBUT into the prestigious office! 

Was it not high time he was shown the EXIT DOOR? Nigeria needs a very active, articulate, resourceful, agile and cerebral Leader who will be on his TOES to serve – not a docile opportunist whose only penchant is REGULAR DELEGATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL DUTIES TO SURROGATES!

 Nigeria needs a Working PRIME MINISTER in a Unicameral Parliamentary System of Government like the United Kingdom (UK), not an easy life Banqueting President!
