According to President Bola Tinubu, a total sum of NGN1TRILLION NAIRA was saved into the Federation Account in the very first month of PETROLEUM SUBSIDY REMOVAL!

 Between June and December 2023, a period of SEVEN MONTHS, Nigeria should have been richer with NGN7 TRILLION NAIRA! Where is the money?

Mr. President did not give account of the gains from his policy somersault of which the economic pains/agonies are still reverberating across the nation before presenting the very offensive/insensitive 

2024 APPROPRIATION BILL OF N27.5 TRILLION TO THE JOINT NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ON WEDNESDAY 29TH NOVEMBER 2023!

HAS TINUBU NOT RE-INTRODUCED FUEL SUBSIDY THROUGH THE BACK DOOR?

International market prices of PMS, AGO and other petroleum products hover between NGN800 to 850 naira per liter and in Nigeria the NNPCL which controls Nigeria's prices to sell at between NGN700 and 750 naira!

 Who pays the difference between the international price and NNPCL price - of course, the Nigerian government! As Christmas dovetailed into the New Year 2024 the confused Mr President and his Wife now resort to Father/Mother Christmas approach of disbursing liquid cash to all and sundry "in the spirit of Yuletide?"

And whereas the AFTERTHOUGHT would have been very unnecessary if Tinubu had opted for a UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT AS DIVINELY INSTRUCTED!

His government would not have needed to purchase NGN160 million naira worth of FOREIGN SUVS for a very small percentage of opportunist politicians on BORROWED FUNDS and continue to pay them humongous allowances that should have taken care of EDUCATION,  HEALTH, ROADS, TRANSPORTATION, WELFARE FOR THE DISABLED AND THOSE WHO ARE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED AND INSECURITY WHICH HAS  INTERNATIONALLY INDEXED NIGERIA AS  THE WORST CRIME-INFESTED NATION IN THE WORLD!

Now  at Christmas and New year the Federal government resulted to dish out MORE "PADDED PALLIATIVES" THROUGH TRANSPORTATION from the 21st December to 1st January 2024 TO  COMMUTERS from East to West, North to South who would pay 50% of their fares to cushion their suffer rings while TRAIN SERVICES FROM ONE END TO ANOTHER ACROSS THE COUNTRY WAS TOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE!

AND Tinubu says he has removed SUBSIDY! WHO IS FOOLING WHO? This administration MUST put a stop to these shenanigans! The President and his cabal politicians know the solution to this problem in which only about TWO MILLION people are being FED FAT while the rest of the 220 million LOOK AT THE MASTERS TABLE FOR CRUMBS!

The PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM has virtually destroyed the economy of this nation and there can be no better time than NOW to opt for a PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM WHICH IS VIRTUALLY COST- FREE!  PATRIOTIC Nigerians are ready to serve without collecting salaries or any form of ALLOWANCES! With great zeal and commitment they are ready to work on PART TIME to bring the nation back to lost glory before MILITARY INCURSION INTO POLITICS IN 1966!

A RUDDERLESS SHIP WITHOUT A CAPTAIN!

Nigeria is a country of leadership without genuine set of RULE OF LAW!

The MILITARY CONSTITUTION bequeathed to the politicians from 29th May 1999 is a mere paper tiger because consecutive administrations disobeyed COURT ORDERS WITH IMPUNITY! The Paperwork titled Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, is just gathering dusts on the desks and cabinets in the offices of Civil Servants/ Public Officers across the nation at both Federal and State levels!

In spite of its faulty antecedents, the 1999 Constitution however did not make provision for the office of FIRST LADY OF NIGERIA but Mr. Tinubu appropriated NGN 1.5 billion naira for the purchase of vehicles for the non-existent office in his 2023 Supplementary Budget which was approved by NASS amidst public outcry!

AND WHEREAS REMI TINUBU HAD ALREADY LAUNCHED AN NGO!

 According media reports and News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, in anticipation of the prestigious position and office of First Lady of Nigeria on Friday 23rd June 2023, launched a programme to empower women, youth and children in the country.

The first lady launched the programme, Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), at the State House in Abuja. Speaking with journalists after the inaugural meeting of RHI governing board members, Tinubu said the programme would target vulnerable groups and bring them closer to the government.

She said that the initiative would focus on five key areas – agriculture, education, economic empowerment, health and socio-investment.

Beneficiaries will register with the corporate affairs commission and open a bank account to qualify to be considered,” NAN quoted the president’s wife as saying.

“We hope to take off with unspent funds from the 2023 campaign purse after which we shall solicit funds from private organisations, international donors and non-governmental organisations.

“The programme will enable us to assist the vulnerable groups. We shall try to see what we can do to naturally meet their needs.

We shall have zonal meetings which will involve the wives of the state governors.”

The governing board members of the initiative include the first lady, Nana Shettima, wife of the vice president, and Salamatu Gbajabiamila, wife of the chief of staff.

Others are Chioma Uzodimma, wife of the governor of Imo state and Betta Edu, All Progressives Congress (APC) national women leader.

Presently Remi is disbursing NGN100,000 Cash palliatives to 250 Vulnerable Elders in each of the 36 States of the Federation!

Where is the source of the money? OF COURSE, THE CITIZENS WHO ARE THE DRAWERS OF THE WATER AND HEWERS OF THE WOOD!

ROBBING PETER TO PAY PAUL IS NOT THE SOLUTION TO TINUBU'S MALADMINISTRATION! UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM IS THE RIGHT WAY TO GO!

SIGNIFICANCE OF CHRISTMAS TO THE END-TIME WORLD!

The annual celebration of Christmas provides an avenue to express gratitude especially by Christians to God for sustaining Peace on Earth in spite of Man's moral lapses through acts of DISOBEDIENCE to Divine Commandments.

Jesus Christ, the One and Only Begotten Son of the Living God was born at Bethlehem of Judae, Israel at Christmas over 2000 years ago to fully establish the Righteous Kingdom of God on Earth.

The significance of His Birth, Ministry, Death, Resurrection and Ascension are documented in the BIBLE (Holy Scriptures by selected writers through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit), to guide true believers in sustaining cordial relationship with The Creator of the Heaven and the Earth.

Jesus Christ taught the doctrines of love, peace, humility, holiness, righteousness, selflessness etc. Christmas should always serve as a season of spiritual introspection for all Earth Citizens who are temporary sojourners and who some day in the future would be judged by Him (after transition from life to death), according to the works of their hands - whether they be good or bad!

BIRDS OF A FEATHER - TINUBU SADISTICALLY CHAIRS AKPABIO'S BIRTHDAY BASH!

On Sunday 3rd December, 2023, the Nigerian Army in a drone strike accidentally bombed, a procession of worshippers resulting in a deadly casualty of about 120 innocent lives! But in less than a week when the nation was still in the mourning mood the number three man in the hierarchy of governance rolled out the drums to celebrate his 61st birthday anniversary which was not even a landmark occasion! Chief Godswill Akpabio threw caution to the winds, bombarded the Akwa Ibom's Stadium named after him on 9th December 2023, where thousands of poor hungry masses had been gathered to celebrate the birthday in his home State which he ruled as PDP Governor from 2007-2015!

Mrs. 'Remi Tinubu represented her husband who was still on a jamboree in Dubai at the Climate Change Summit with 1,400 entourage on tax payers expenses! Some political analysts posited that it was "a show of political assertion" in a People’s Democratic Party (PDP), State which is in opposition to the Federal APC Government which he represented. The display of insensitivity by this opportunist politician continued at a colloquium in Abuja on Thursday 14th of December 2023 where his partner in sadism, Mr. 'Bola Ahmed Tinubu was seated as the most distinguished chairman of the occasion! 

WHERE IS MORAL JUSTIFICATION IN THE RECKLESS EXHIBITION OF AFFLUENCE TO OVER 150 MILLION MULTI-DIMENSIONALLY POOR MASSES IN NIGERIA? Desperate Nigerian politicians would go to any extent to remain in relevance or reckoning! 

1) Here is a man who confessed that he had no AUTHENTIC BIRTHDAY because his uncle could not ascertain when he was born!

2) Following his loss of popularity and failure secure the Senatorial Seat in 2015, crossed over to the All Progressives Congress (APC), and was appointed Minister for Niger Delta by former President Buhari

3) Allegations of impropriety made EFCC to invite him for questioning as Niger Delta Minister but has the matter died a natural death?

4) He eventually found his way into the Senate and became Minority Leader!

5) Akpabio's ambition pushed him to also purchase APC'S NGN100m naira form for the post of President which he lost but manoeuvred back to the Senate with diabolical ingenuity to become the President of the 10th Senate!

THE ROLE OF OLISA AGBAKOBA (SAN) AT AKPABIO'S BIRTHDAY COLLOQUIUM!

Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), is a man that the Editorial Board of Zion B-BC Newsletter holds in very high esteem. A trail-blazer, a cerebral of high academic distinction in the legal profession, an achiever par excellence and a human rights activist.

BUT he was a wrong candidate for guest speakership at a gathering of "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves!"

In a Tweet after the innocuous gathering, Dr. Agbakoba said: "I was a guest speaker at the lecture colloquium in honour of the Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio (CON). My presentation "Volcanic Explosion of an Uncommon an Agenda for Development", focused on issue of governance revenue generation and job creation." His presentation on the occasion was professionally crafted and on point but was completely defeated when during his comical response to the gathering, the celebrant posited that CORRUPTION had debuted in the polity before Independence in 1959 and had come to stay! It is pertinent to remind the legal luminary that constitution amendments in the past 23 years has become anathema - a conduit pipe for the legislators to perpetrate rooted corruption at every turn. Past amendments which had consumed billions of Naira were always discarded without Presidential assent!

He should have realised that restructuring the country to Regional System has become analogue and his advocacy should have been on the Change to UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM THROUGH A POPULAR REFERENDUM!

Agbakoba MUST not accept any appointment from this gang of sadists and descendants of EMPEROR NERO WHO KEPT ROLLICKING WHILE ROME WAS ON FIRE!

He MUST not soil his hands with Red Portage after about FOUR DECADES of very successful legal practice.

ONE BOMB TOO MANY! THE BLOOD OF INNOCENT NIGERIANS CRY FOR VENGEANCE!

Between the Armed Forced and armed  terrorists, who has the greatest casualties of human bloodshed in Nigeria? During the 30-month-old Biafra War which took place in Nigeria between July 1967 and January 1970, it was officially estimated that not less than Two Million persons - mostly innocent citizens were killed through military warfare!

Secession from the geographical conglomerate of Nigeria by the entire Eastern Region was at the root of the military intervention by the then Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon but

allegations of genocide against the populace eventually took the center stage before eventual surrender to Federal Troops. The thirty-year military interregnum which ensued thereafter virtually birthed angry and unforgiving citizens to engage in acts of insurrection, brigandage and terrorism which politically constituted authority have failed to contain to date!

Among contentious insecurities are the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed group, Eastern Security Network (ESN); which never gave up the demand for secession from Nigeria;

An Islamic group identified as Boko Haram with no clear-political ideology than that Western Education was anathema to North East Nigeria citizens and believed it could carve out a Caliphate out of the Region had for over 14 years virtually destroyed Nigeria's economy through unorthodox guerilla warfare of "hit and run tactics"! 

Boko Haram eventually became Octopus with several tentacles which metamorphosed the armed Fulani Herdsmen in order to perpetrate all geo-political zones; as gunmen, bandits, kidnappers, assassins etc!

These enemies of State have also snuffed out innocent lives in their millions!

Nigeria's very corrupt consecutive administrations in the process further gave vent to terrorism by:

1) Underfunding all the security apparatuses to allow the ragamuffins to gain upper hand at the various theaters of war!

2) Able-bodied citizens were discouraged to seek employment in the Armed Forces and the Police where security funds were always allegedly  misappropriated by State Actors who would rather purchase antiquated weapons instead of high-tech and sophisticated equipments that would ensure victory at any encounter!

3)  In view of the lackadaisical approach of politicians to selfishly equip themselves with all the luxurious items for grandeur existence to the detriment of the Citizens whom they swore on oath to succour, those in the security wings would rather allow crimes/criminalities subsist rather than get killed unsung, unwailed!

BUT FOR THE PATRIOTIC AND DILIGENT AMONG THE PERSONNEL, WHO WOULD RATHER BATTLE/GAMBLE WITH THE ACCURSED WEAPONS NOW HAVE THEIR HANDS SOILED WITH THE BLOOD OF OVER 120 INNOCENT RELIGIOUS WORSHIPPERS WHOM THEY MISTOOK FOR TERRORISTS!

‘Kaduna Bombing Regrettable’, Army Chief Apologises

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, on Tuesday, described the deadly airstrike that killed 85 people and injured several others in Kaduna State as regrettable.

The army chief, who visited the site of the mishap that has thrown the nation into a sorrowful mood, apologised on behalf of the Nigerian Army to the community, the government, and the people of Kaduna State.

Lagbaja, who visited the victims two days after the accidental strike in the Igabi area of the North-West state, promised to guard against such an occurrence in the conduct of military operations.

“My assessment of that unfortunate incident of Sunday, December 3, 2023, is that it is grave, regrettable. We will do everything possible to prevent such an occurrence from happening again in the conduct of our operations going forward,” he said about one of the country’s deadliest military bombing accidents.

The army chief was accompanied by principal staff officers from the army headquarters and the General Officer Commanding 1 Division and also met with the Dangaladima Zazau, the District Head of Rigasa, Architect Aminu Idris, other leaders, and members of the community.

Eighty-five were killed in an air strike by the Nigerian Army at Tudun Biri village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, in one of the country’s deadliest military bombing accidents.

The North-West zonal spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Halima Suleiman, told Channels Television that 66 other victims were also injured in Sunday’s bombing.

She said the fatality figure was gotten from the local authorities after the burial of the victims on Monday.

Initial Confusion

Confusion had trailed Sunday’s accidental air strike with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) saying it was not responsible for the bombing. Hours later, the Kaduna State Government said the Army had taken responsibility for the accidental mistake.

Nigeria’s armed forces often rely on air strikes in their battle against so-called bandit militias in the North-West and North-East of the country, where jihadists have been fighting for more than a decade. However, such air strikes have not been without controversies and accidental bombings and alleged miscalculations, with innocent Nigerians, including soldiers as casualties. Earlier in 2023, NAF took responsibility over a fatal airstrike on Kwatiri, a Nasarawa village. At least 39 persons were killed and six others injured in the airstrike that occurred on 24 January. In 2021, about 20 soldiers on ground were allegedly slain in Mainok, Borno State, when a NAF fighter jet responding to attacks on a military camp by Boko Haram insurgents bombed the military camp based on a wrong coordinate.

Tinubu Orders Probe

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday ordered an investigation after the army acknowledged one of its drones accidentally struck Tudun Biri village as residents were celebrating a Muslim festival.

“President Tinubu describes the incident as very unfortunate, disturbing, and painful, expressing indignation and grief over the tragic loss of Nigerian lives,” the presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale said in a statement.

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State also ordered a full investigation into Sunday’s incident, reassuring the citizens that their security and protection will be prioritised in the sustained fight against terrorists, bandits, and other criminal elements.

While directing the immediate evacuation of the injured to the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital for emergency medical attention, the governor disclosed that The Kaduna State Government will be responsible for their treatment and related logistics. He, however, appealed to the affected community and all citizens of the state to be calm and continue to support the security forces and the state government in the battle against terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and other criminal elements in the state.

TRUTH OF THE MATTER!

If the entire military hierarchy were sacked and all families of the departed mourn daily, the deed remain done!

The few righteous in Tinubu's government MUST rise to the occasion by speaking TRUTH TO POWER!

There must be a very effective coordination between members of the security forces that have lost hope in consecutive governments and those who are the determined to see the country through by eliminating corruption in all facets of government for accountability to take firm root!

Looted security funds must be probed and recovered in order to boost the morale of Nigeria’s once internationally acclaimed, trusted and diligent troops!

Nigerians can no longer bear these pains caused by opportunists in government! The sure way to go is Unicameral Parliamentary System of government through popular REFERENDUM!

COP 28 WAS A COVER FOR TINUBU TO SHAMELESSLY BEG FOR MORE MONEY!

While world leaders and delegates at the United Arab Emirate (UAE), UN Conference of Parties COP 28 Climate Change Summit ( 30th November - 12th December), 2023, brainstormed on how to accelerate measures to aggressively eliminate green house emissions through collective drive, the Nigerian President and his team poached for portfolio investments on the sidelines! Nigeria had been complicit in gas flaring for more than 53 years from the time when massive exploration began in the 70s and hard hardly contributed funds to the world body to mitigate the horrible negative effects of greenhouse emission into the climate! In a lack-lustre speech, Tinubu pledged to end gas flaring in Nigeria as part of its contribution to global push to reduce methane emissions. He also said Nigeria has consolidated on gas export and domestic consumption as part partners for renewable energy. 

He confessed that though his country was committed to energy mix, he believed that the two biggest economies US and China whom he described as the "biggest culprits" should act real fast because the Earth needed urgent healing!

The theme of COP28 is "Transition to Clean Energy", 123 Countries are in attendance.

"Due to climate change, Northern Nigeria is seeing greater heatwaves and lengthier, more erratic rainfall. New problems such extreme droughts, floods, deforestation, pollution, and food shortages have resulted from this." And whereas the larger bulk of the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), of the very ambitious budget would derive from CLIMATE-POLLUTANT CRUDE OIL and ancillaries which were even beyond the reach of over 133 million multi-dimensionally poor Nigerians who are victims of Tinubu's policy somersault of SUBSIDY REMOVAL!

FOSSIL-FUEL or Hydrocarbon is climate change unfriendly and Nigeria which had refused to change status quo but believes strongly that Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), derivable from CRUDE OIL would last for eternity side by side with RENEWABLE ENERGY COMPONENTS LIKE SOLAR, ELECTRIC OR COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG), must be ready to face painful consequences!

CRUDE OIL EXPLORATION/GAS FLARING would remain detrimental to the gradual destruction of the OZONE LAYER in no distant future if other world leaders behaved nonchalantly like the Nigerian President.

Nigeria possesses FOUR GOVERNMENT REFINERIES, WHICH IN TWENTY YEARS ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF TURN-AROUND MAINTENANCE!

DANGOTE'S 650-MILLION BARRELS PER DAY MODERN REFINERY SHOULD COME ON BOARD THIS DECEMBER.

AND ADDED TO THESE ARE CLUSTERS OF MODULAR REFINERIES which have largely contributed to land pollution/degradation for years on end due to massive exploration and exploitation which needed urgent attention of reversal!

Nigeria's 1400 Delegates will attend and collect between USD 900-1500 each per day!

THE NIGERIAN 2024 BUDGET IS A CUT AND PASTE OF OLD TEMPLATES!

The Appropriation has followed annual ritual of deficit budgets always funded through external borrowings (NGN9.8 trillion for 2024), and the clinical dissection has begun in earnest!  Between Wednesday 29th November and Saturday 2nd December 2023, the document has gone through Second Reading of both Chambers for it to meet the annual January to December cycle of Budget Implementation in spite of the fact that it represented a cacophony of the previous ones devoid of all basic dividends through institutional inadequacies and security infrastructures!

HAS ANY FEDERAL ANNUAL NIGERIAN BUDGET EVER BEEN FULLY EXECUTED OR IMPLEMENTED SINCE 1999?

Consecutive corrupt politicians have all become multi-billionaires over the years because no annual budget in 23 years was fully executed or implemented. Year-on-year the ROADS remain impassable, public potable water - a dream pipe; EDUCATION - a mirage; EMPLOYMENT - paper tiger; HOUSING - marked as demolition structures; INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION - comatose; MANUFACTURING - replaced with imported finished products, including PMS; CAPITAL EXPENDITURE IS FOR - working allowances of politicians and civil servants, salaries/emoluments, imported Sport Utility Vehicles SUVs @ NGN160 million naira each - housing/overseas holiday allowances, domestic staff allowances, etc, etc, all fully paid in billions/trillions of naira on annual basis! This time around, Tinubu has promised national defense/internal security, local job creation, macro-economic stability and poverty reduction!

AND WHEREAS THE PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM ALBATROSS OF ANNUAL BUDGET PADDING BY THE LEGISLATORS REMAINED A RECURRING DECIMAL BECAUSE OF EXECUTIVE COMPLICITY!

BETWEEN THE EXECUTIVE AND THE LEGISLATURE - WHO OVERSIGHTS WHO?

President Tinubu presented TWO SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGETS as addendums to the BUHARI'S, 2023 farewell budget to which no accountability had been adduced before the latest 2024 BUDGET OF RENEWED HOPE?

WHAT DID CHINA, SINGAPORE, SOUTH KOREA, JAPAN AND THE ASIAN TIGERS DO DIFFERENTLY TO ATTAIN CURRENT ECONOMIC PROWESS?

THEY SHUT THEIR BORDERS AGAINST FOREIGN AND LUXURIOUS GOODS; remained content with what they could produce from within and as such were able to destroy all tendencies of unpatriotism and developed the Spirit of Camaraderie, national pride and built up their Nations to become world economic leaders in their own rights!

They are all practicing true democracy in which all citizens are involved in equal representations while poverty has been completely erased to almost zero level!

THE ONLY ROAD OUT OF THE SHAMEFUL INTERNATIONAL INDEXING AS THE MOST-CORRUPT AND POVERTY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD IS TO DUMP THE PRODIGAL PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM AND EMBRACE THE UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM WHICH IS GRASS-ROOT ORIENTED AND VERY COST-FRIENDLY!

In his presentation, he declared, “The 2024 Appropriation has been themed the Budget of Renewed Hope. The proposed budget seeks to achieve job-rich economic growth, macro-economic stability, a better investment environment, enhanced human capital development, as well as poverty reduction and greater access to social security.”

As contained in a document released by the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, this is the breakdown and highlights of critical allocations in the 2024 budget.

EDUCATION: N2.18 Trillion (7.9% of Budget)

Breakdown

N1.23 trillion – Amount provisioned for Federal Ministry of Education and its agencies (Recurrent & Capital expenditure)

N251.47 billion – Amount provisioned for Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC)

N700.0 billion – Transfers to the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) for infrastructure projects in Tertiary institutions

HEALTH: N1.33 Trillion (5% of Budget)

N1.07 trillion – Amount provisioned for Federal Ministry of Health and its agencies (Recurrent & Capital expenditure)

N137.21 billion – Gavi/ Immunization funds, including Counterpart Funding for Donor Supported Programmes

N125.74 billion – Transfer to Basic Healthcare Provision Fund (BHCPF) 1% of CRF

DEFENCE AND SECURITY:

 N3.25 trillion (12% of Budget) – Amount provisioned for the Military, Police, Intelligence & Paramilitary (Recurrent & Capital expenditure)

INFRASTRUCTURE: 

N1.32 trillion (5% of Budget) – This include provisions for Works & Housing, Power, Transport, Water Resources, Aviation.

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT & POVERTY REDUCTION PROGRAMMES: 

N534 billion (2% of Budget) – Amount provisioned for Social Investments / Poverty Reduction Programmes.

ALL LEGISLATORS MUST DECLARE THEIR ASSETS AND LIABILITIES NOW!

While the legislators are busy dissecting the BOOTY to their own tastes through PERFECTED PADDING (Courtesy Hon. The Supreme Court of Nigeria is poised to face a litmus test when the Kano State Gubernatorial Elections Petition which was nullified on technical grounds at the Appeal Court will be tabled before the Apex Court for final adjudication!

Since resumption of the transient democracy in 1999, when retired military presidents from Olusegun Obasanjo including their civilian counterparts relegated the rule of law in the country to employment of illicit monies to suppress Justice, the Judiciary has been on the receiving end of public condemnation!

Election rigging cases by incumbent governments always sailed through in their favor even when evidences were adduced that incumbent Mr. President Obasanjo vocally threatened "do or die" victory for his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the year 2007!

Hundreds of human lives were lost in that presidential election, but Mr. Obasanjo and his collaborators won at the law courts!

Twenty three years on through institutional corruption, the Court has lost its position as the last hope of the common man but now the preserve of the money bags!

The Electorate are all at loggerheads with biased, lopsided 2023 Tribunals and Appeal Courts judgements which they believed favoured the highest bidders and have organized several Street protests to vent their displeasure! 

KANO STATE  Governorship Appeal Court judgement which ousted the incumbent is trending and security tension is high in the old Northern capital city!

Court Of Appeal Affirms Tribunal Judgment, Sacks Kano Governor

The court agreed with the judgment of the tribunal, ruling that the fielding of Abba Yusuf was in breach of the Electoral Law.

The Guardian Updated November 17, 2023, Report is as follows:

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has upheld the ruling of the Election Petitions Tribunal sacking Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State. 

In its judgment, the Appeal Court agreed with the judgment of the tribunal, ruling that the fielding of Abba Yusuf was in breach of the Electoral Law as he was not qualified to contest that Election.

 The verdict comes nearly two months after the Kano Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, on September 20, sacked Yusuf, declaring the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Nasiru Gawuna, as the winner of the March 18 2023 election.

Yusuf, who contested on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), was declared the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the poll in March.

The tribunal deducted 165,663 votes from Yusuf’s total as invalid votes, stating that the affected ballot papers were not stamped or signed and therefore declared invalid.

The ruling came about six months after the APC candidate conceded defeat to Yusuf in the wake of INEC’s presentation of the certificate of return to the NNPP candidate.

In a two-minute audio statement on March 29, Gawuna stated that “as a good Muslim”, he was compelled to accept the outcome of the election, whether in his favour or not.

He added that although his campaign team had requested a review of the election results by INEC, upon review, the commission had found Yusuf to be the winner of the election.

In the wake of the judgment, the APC hailed it and described it as a show of the vibrancy of the nation’s judiciary.

“As we applaud the judiciary for its courage and professionalism in discharging its important constitutional duties, we urge it to continue to rise above blackmail and intimidation by some self-serving political interests, and continue to give full expression to the tenets of the law, irrespective of the identity or status of the parties involved,” the party’s spokesman Felix Morka said.

POSITION AND ROLE OF THE JUDICIARY IN THE 1999 CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.

The Judiciary occupies the third position in the hierarchy of the Three Tiers of Government according to Nigeria's 1999 Military Presidential Constitution. In other climes, the Judiciary is rated numero uno because the administration of any form of government rests squarely on the Rule of Law in order to avoid chaotic situations through policy somersaults!

As arbiter between the Executive and the Legislature, the Judiciary must remain a very articulate, strong, reliable and veritable institution to be trusted by the Citizens in whose domain squarely rests SOVEREIGNTY when comes to fairness, equity and JUSTICE in respect of ARBITRATION!

However the cliché which states that the Judiciary is the last hope of the common man should have accommodated an addendum that, it is also the hope of t institutional money bags whose only credential is possession of a Secondary School Certificate - Pass or Fail  - to vie for elective positions!

The Federal Republic of Nigeria is unfortunately saddled with the Office of such characters highly favored by the bogus constitution to call the shots in all aspects of execution of the document from the Executive through the Legislature to the Local Government Areas (LGAs), in any manner as they deemed fit in all manner of fiscal, monetary or financial matters!

The area of judicial manipulation is the simplest adjudication for Mr. President WHO HIRES AND FIRES at his whims and caprices!

The sudden and disastrous end of UNREPENTANT NIGERIAN POLITICAL OUTCASTS who have bluntly refused to return to the State Coffers all illicitly acquired wealth of several years through the wasteful Presidential System and have also reneged on the popular demand for a costless Unicameral Parliamentary System has begun! It began to manifest through a raging PLAGUE that is already consuming them and their cronies with all manner of incurable diseases from 1st November 2023 and would last till midnight 31st December 2023 when all of them would have been consumed!

This divine prophetic judgement which will be executed in stages is a re-enactment of the Ten Biblical Egyptian Plagues (Exodus    

7-12:36), against all OUTCAST CORRUPT POLITICIANS in Nigeria! 

The punishments will not affect all RIGHTEOUS POLITICIANS who had refused to eat the fruits of corruption in any form because they have their Refuge in GOSHEN! 

In addition to the TEN PLAGUES, THE THREE CORONA VIRUSES STRAINS will be added to their calamity and also THE VICIOUS WORMS that ATE ALIVE THE BIBLICAL KING HEROD WILL ALSO EAT THEM ALL UP ONE AFTER THE OTHER UNTIL THEY ALL PERISH FOR THE SIN OF DISOBEDIENCE TO SET NIGERIANS FREE FROM POLITICAL/ECONOMIC BONDAGE! 

It was time for Nigerians who had suffered untold economic hardships in their own country for 63 years to be set free to enjoy the Parliamentary System and breath fresh air of FREEDOM!

Mr. Tinubu and his cabal have no choice than to obey Divine Commandment or face His Wrath!

1)  All those who have perpetrated systemic corruption and have turned Nigeria's economy into a similitude of a Banana Republic from 1960-2023!

2) The money launderers with questionable sources of income; who have stolen the mandate and sovereignty from the people and robbed the polity of collective patrimony and have amassed stupendous liquid cash that cannot pass through the commercial Banks of the country!

3) They are those who have shared the Oil Wells amongst themselves with the succinct support of State Security apparatuses at the detriment of indigenous Host communities who dwell in penury and abject poverty.

4) All political appointees in the EXECUTIVE THE LEGISLATURE, JUDICIARY, FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS not excluding MINISTRIES, DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES (MDAs), who have all become multi-billionaires/trillionaires through politics in the past 63 years of Nigeria as a sovereign nation!

5) They executed OIL THEFTS with executive impunity/precision with the NNPCL (The Four Towers of Corruption), as partners in crime!

6) They are those who have denied the very fundamental objectives of the citizens as stipulated in Chapter II of an illegal/unscrutinized 1999 Secret Constitution carried out through military surrogates!

Excerpts of Violated Rights of Nigerian Citizens in Bondage as follows:

CHAPTER II 

FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVES AND DIRECTIVE PRINCIPLES OF STATE POLICY! 

¶13. It shall be the duty and responsibility of all organs of government, and of all authorities and persons, exercising legislative, executive or judicial powers, to conform to, observe and apply the provisions of this Chapter of this Constitution. 

14. (1) The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be a State based on the principles of democracy and social justice. FALSE!

(2) It is hereby, accordingly, declared that: 

(a) Sovereignty belongs to the people of Nigeria from whom government through this Constitution derives all its powers and authority; FALSE!

(b) The security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government: and 

(c) The participation by the people in their government shall be ensured in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution. FALSE!

(3) The composition of the Government of the Federation or any of its agencies and the conduct of its affairs shall be carried out in such a manner as to reflect the federal character of Nigeria and the need to promote national unity, and also to command national loyalty, thereby ensuring that there shall be no predominance of persons from a few State or from a few ethnic or other sectional groups in that Government or in any of its agencies. FALSE!

(4) The State shall foster a feeling of belonging and of involvement among the various people of the Federation, to the end that loyalty to the nation shall override sectional loyalties. FALSE!

(5) The State shall abolish all corrupt practices and abuse of power. FALSE!

16. (1) The State shall, within the context of the ideals and objectives for which provisions are made in this Constitution. 

(a) Harness the resources of the nation and promote national prosperity and an efficient, a dynamic and self-reliant economy; FALSE.

(b) control the national economy in such manner as to secure the maximum welfare, freedom and happiness of every citizen on the basis of social justice and equality of status and opportunity; FALSE!

(c) without prejudice to its right to operate or participate in areas of the economy, other than the major sectors of the economy, manage and operate the major sectors of the economy; FALSE!

(2) The State shall direct its policy towards ensuring: 

(a) The promotion of a planned and balanced economic development; FALSE!

(b) That the material resources of the nation are harnessed and distributed as best as possible to serve the common good; FALSE!

(c) that the economic system is not operated in such a manner as to permit the concentration of wealth or the means of production and exchange in the hands of few individuals or of a group; and 

(d) That suitable and adequate shelter, suitable and adequate food, reasonable national minimum living wage, old age care and pensions, and unemployment, sick benefits and welfare of the disabled are provided for all citizens. FALSE, FALSE, FALSE!!!

17. (1) The State social order is founded on ideals of Freedom, Equality and Justice. FALSE!

(2) In furtherance of the social order- 

(a) Every citizen shall have equality of rights, obligations and opportunities before the law; FALSE!

(b) The sanctity of the human person shall be recognised and human dignity shall be maintained and enhanced; FALSEHOOD!

(c) Governmental actions shall be humane; 

(d) exploitation of human or natural resources in any form whatsoever for reasons, other than the good of the community, shall be prevented; and 

(e) The independence, impartiality and integrity of courts of law, and easy accessibility thereto shall be secured and maintained. FALSEHOOD!

(3) The State shall direct its policy towards ensuring that- 

(a) all citizens, without discrimination on any group whatsoever, have the opportunity for securing adequate means of livelihood as well as adequate opportunity to secure suitable employment; FALSEHOOD!

(b) Conditions of work are just and humane, and that there are adequate facilities for leisure and for social, religious and cultural life; 

(c) The health, safety and welfare of all persons in employment are safeguarded and not endangered or abused; FALSEHOOD!

(d) There are adequate medical and health facilities for all persons: FALSE!

(e) There is equal pay for equal work without discrimination on account of sex, or on any other ground whatsoever; 

(f) Children, young persons and the aged are protected against any exploitation whatsoever, and against moral and material neglect; FALSE!

(g) Provision is made for public assistance in deserving cases or other conditions of need; and 

(h) The evolution and promotion of family life is encouraged. 

18. (1) Government shall direct its policy towards ensuring that there are equal and adequate educational opportunities at all levels. FALSEHOOD!

(2) Government shall promote science and technology 

(3) Government shall strive to eradicate illiteracy; and to this end Government shall as and when practicable provide 

(a) Free, compulsory and universal primary education; 

(b) Free secondary education; (c) free university education; and 

(d) Free adult literacy programme. FALSEHOOD! 

* There are over 13.5 million out of school children roaming the streets of Nigeria! ¶

Was it not high time that Nigeria was blacklisted by all foreign countries and institutions from assessing loans which have become an albatross, albeit horrible/shameful embarrassment to the present generation of upcoming leaders?

As at the time of this publication, Nigeria's external/domestic debt according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), stood at NGN 87.38 trillion (USD$113.42billion), in Q2 2023, from NGN49.85 trillion (USD108.30 billion in Q1 2023, indicating a growth rate of 75.27% on quarter-on-quarter basis.

Shamelessly, consecutive Presidents of Nigeria since 1999 had always gone cap in hand to borrow from well-established Nations as if Nigeria is accursed to modern development or bereft of cerebrals in all professional disciplines!

 Presently the incumbent Bola Ahmed Tinubu had virtually travel across the entire continents of the world to borrow monies for overhead commitments like paying salaries, allowances, penchant for foreign Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), for his 48-man Cabinet of Ministers, and their deputies not excluding National Assembly Legislators and all high-ranking members of the two Chambers!

In spite of public outcry Tinubu went ahead to order for not less than 600 SUVS already being distributed as largess to the insensitive elected/political appointees in a feudalistic manner that smarts of impunity at the highest order! Tinubu believes that he is not accountable to anybody especially now that the Supreme Court had been arm-twisted to rubber stamp his kangaroo election as the man in the saddle of power in Nigeria until 2027! As painful as the entire process has unfolded, WE STILL WANT TO BELIEVE that there are some righteous persons in his administration who could speak out from amongst the THREE TIERS against the INJUSTICE being meted to Nigerian Citizens from whom they have Constitutionally derived the power of administration! They MUST confront the INGLORIOUS SYSTEM NOW!

 "House Of Reps’ Members Take Delivery Of N160Billion Posh SUVs As Senators Await Theirs Amid Rising Poverty In Nigeria!

October 29, 2023. Similarly, the first batch of SUVs will be delivered to their counterparts in the Senate this week. It was also reported that the last batch of SUVs for lawmakers will arrive before December.

The National Assembly leadership had declared the purchase of imported SUVs for each lawmaker and bulletproof vehicles for key officers.

Meanwhile, this has generated public outrage, especially coming amid a huge debt burden and at a time when an unprecedented number of Nigerians live in poverty.

The SUVs for each of the 109 senators and 360 members of the House of Representatives are estimated at N57.6 billion. According to reports, the vehicles would cost N160 million each. The spokesperson for the House of Representatives, Akin Rotimi, told Sunday PUNCH correspondent that members of the House had started taking delivery of the vehicles.

Rotimi said, “Some members have started taking delivery of their vehicles. Priority was given to women in the parliament, people with any form of disability and the elderly.

“The management has also ensured that only members who have been fully disposed of their court cases will be given the vehicles to avoid problems.”

Corroborating this, a member of the Green Chamber, who pleaded anonymity, noted that the management was very keen on members justifying the use of the vehicle for their legislative operations. The source noted that the management had issued a circular to members not to sell any of the vehicles, stating clearly that it was the property of the National Assembly. The source said, “This particular Assembly is very particular about things being done right. In previous assemblies, people would collect their vehicles and sell them off, but the Speaker has put his foot down against such.

“The spokesperson was mandated to issue a statement internally to members and ensure that no member must sell their vehicles as they are National Assembly property.

“Beyond the circular, the management is seriously following up, particularly to justify the purchase, because the vehicles were bought to give lawmakers a level of autonomy from the executive.” According to top-level sources, the vehicles will arrive in three batches for the use of the committee chairmen and members.

Another source stated that although the vehicles had generated a lot of controversy and public discussions, they were to aid the lawmakers in performing their duties.

Last week, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Services, Sunday Karimi gave the reasons why the lawmakers jettisoned the country’s car manufacturing companies for Toyota, a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer.

Karimi, who represents Kogi West Senatorial District, in the 10th National Assembly, spoke during a live appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Wednesday, claiming that the lawmakers chose Toyota because of evidence of quality and durability. He added that Toyota products had been tried and tested while locally produced vehicles were still in the developing stage.

He said, “Today, we decided for foreign, Toyota, because Toyota has a name and a law standing for quality and durability. We decided to go for Land Cruiser Toyota which is tried and tested. Tomorrow, we patronize as local manufacturing develops. We are going to patronize them.”

But when asked if he and his colleagues were patriotic Nigerians considering how they shunned locally made vehicles for foreign-made ones at a time when Nigeria was struggling with forex earnings, Karimi said, “Yes (we are patriotic). I have just said something; as we develop in terms of quality and all that, we are going to patronize Nigerians.” Karimi also identified the deplorable state of the country’s major roads as one of the reasons why they went for the posh vehicles. 

ARE THERE RIGHTEOUS POLITICIANS IN NIGERIA?

Rotimi stated that buying of operational vehicle is not peculiar to the legislature, as appointees of the executive have also gotten cars attached to them.

He explained that members were to drop the cars after their tenure but could keep them if they were willing to purchase them.

“For the duration of the 10th assembly (2023 – 2027), the vehicles shall remain the property of the National Assembly.

“At the expiration of the tenure of the 10th Assembly in 2027, should the extant assets deboarding policy of government still be in place, honourable members may have the option of making payment for the outstanding value of the vehicles to government coffers before they can become theirs, otherwise it remains the property of the National Assembly,” he added.

IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR MULTI-BILLIONAIRE BOLA TINUBU TO CHAMPION A REFERENDUM FOR UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM THAT WILL PERMANENTLY CANCEL THE CURRENT FISCAL PROFLIGACY/SQUANDER MANIA OF A PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM AND CREATE AMPLE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE POOR MASSES TO ENJOY TRUE DEMOCRACY!

TINUBU'S NGN2.17 TRILLION SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET IS BIGGER FRAUD THAN P&ID'S $6.6 BILLION ROBBERY!

Nigeria would have paid a whopping sum of USD$6.6 billion plus interest to a foreign company known and addressed as Process and Industrial Developments (P&ID), which was in August 2019 granted leave by the UK Business and Property Courts to enforce a 2013 award against Nigeria by three-member Arbitration Tribunal which relied on the Application Act 1996 (England and Wales) and the Nigerian Arbitration and Conciliation Act 2004!

However, it has now been fully exposed by the British Court that the P&ID failed gas deal was a voodoo contract perfected through bribes to Nigerian enemies of state employed in the civil service of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In our Zion B-BC Newsletter Vol.8, 320th Edition dated 29th September 2019, and titled, "Nigerians Had Suffered International Condemnation Through Perpetual Bad Leadership!", We mentioned similar dubious foreign contracts bribery scandals especially during the military regime of late General Sani Abacha by a US Based Oil Drilling Company called  HALLIBURTON!

But greater emphasis was devoted to the foreign Irish Company P&ID which planned to steal USD$9.6billion dollars by hook and crook from Nigeria!

Please find below excerpts from that publication which are very instructive to the favourable judgment of Monday 30thOctober 2023:

"WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN 2010 AND 2019?

The 2010 controversial contract was awarded to the Irish Portfolio Investment Company, incorporated in the British Virgin Island, by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Administration headed by President Ebele Jonathan, and from all narratives, the contract was shrouded in much secrecy within the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Towers where it was signed, sealed and delivered without the approval of the Federal Executive Council (FEC)! 

Although the Change Administration of APC under the watch of President Muhammadu Buhari, took over governance in 2015, not much of the said botched contract and judgement in favour of P&ID was revealed in the public domain until now!

 WHO INTRODUCED P&ID TO NIGERIA? Investigations are still on to unravel how the foreigners infiltrated Nigeria's economic space!

 WHO ARE THEIR NIGERIAN PARTNERS & BOARD MEMBERS? None!

Nigeria’s government is celebrating a “landmark victory” after a UK court ruled it was not liable for a multibillion-dollar payout earlier awarded to a private firm over a failed gas project.

The West African nation was previously ordered by an arbitration tribunal in 2017 to pay $6.6 billion, plus interest in damages to a British Virgin Islands-based engineering firm, Process and Industrial Developments Limited (P&ID).

The company had sued for compensation over lost profits following the collapse of a 20-year deal with Nigerian authorities in 2010 to build a gas processing facility.

The awarded sum and accumulated interest had now exceeded $11 billion, nearly half of Nigeria’s federal budget for this year.

If upheld by the London court, the tribunal’s $11 billion payout to P&ID would have taken a devastating toll on Nigeria’s already struggling economy, which owes billions of dollars in debt and grapples with high inflation and a cost-of-living crisis.

What went wrong?

Disagreements after both parties blamed each other for defaulting on obligations led to the failed deal and sparked a lengthy legal battle.

Lawyers for the Nigerian government had argued that P&ID induced the country’s officials with bribes for the contract to be awarded to the firm. P&ID denied this allegation.

Delivering judgment on Monday, Judge Robin Knowles set aside the earlier ruling by the tribunal and concluded that the gas deal was “obtained by fraud” and “procured … contrary to public policy.”

Knowles added: “This case has also, sadly, brought together a combination of examples of what some individuals will do for money. Driven by greed and prepared to use corruption; giving no thought to what their enrichment would mean in terms of harm for others.”

Nigeria’s Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi told state media after the ruling that the deal with the P&ID did not follow due process.

“The purported agreement by P&ID was conceived, nurtured, and executed purportedly in fraud,” he said, adding that the Nigerian government had been under pressure to reach a settlement prior to Monday’s ruling.

“There was so much pressure to settle … but the president insisted he was not going to allow corruption any place in his administration … and his insistence on this has proven him right.”

Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu welcomed Knowles’ ruling, describing it as a “landmark victory” that “is not for Nigeria alone” but “for our long exploited continent and for the developing world at large, which has for too long been on the receiving end of unjust economic malpractice and overt exploitation.”

TOTAL 2023 BUDGET IS NOW NGN5.268 TRILLION + NGN2.17 TRILLION = NGN7.285 TRILLION SOURCED THROUGH EXTERNAL BORROWED FUNDS!

Tinubu plans to disburse the already approved supplementary budget in the following scandalous manner:

1. NGN13.5 billion naira for renovation of the Aso Villa.

2.NGN7.3 billion naira on cars for the State House.

3. NGN57.6 billion naira for foreign Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs), for the National Assembly Lawmakers.

4. NGN 12.7 billion for the presidential air fleet.

5. NGN 5 billion naira for a presidential yatch.

6. The Nigerian Navy will also receive additional NGN 62.8 billion four operations outside of the five billion naira for the purchase of the presidential yatch!

7. NGN 1.5 billion for purchase of vehicles for the office of the First Lady. 

PEANUTS FOR EDUCATIONAL LOAN FUND!

Although Mr Bola Tinubu has been affirmed as a graduate of the Chicago State University USA, he does not really believe in human capital development which should serve as the greatest foundation for social economic emancipation for the nation's recalcitrant indebtedness!

 He has therefore appropriated a paltry sum of NGN5.5 billion naira to the Education Loan Fund under the Students Loan Act but following public outcry appropriation for the YATCH HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO THE EDUCATION LOAN FUND!

 He however promised that 15 million out of the 133 multi-dimensional poor Nigerians would be beneficiaries of the NGN 1.1 trillion naira Conditional Cash Transfer Scheme which began under the Buhari Administration.

Mr. BAT has recuperated from previous globe trottings and will embark on further foreign journeys to Saudi Arabia to attract more investments!

FOR THE TAXPAYERS INFORMATION!

80% of annual revenue is deployed to DEBT SERVICING - NOT PAYMENT!

In spite of the fact that the presidential system of government is too expensive for a developing nation like Nigeria the politicians have stuck to it because it is through the system that they can live in affluence through institutional corruption!

With the introduction of a Unicameral Parliamentary System of government through REFERENDUM these new set of OUTCASTS must be eliminated permanently from governnance!

President 'Bola Tinubu in his first impromptu but very insensitive reaction to the Supreme Court's verdict which affirmed his candidature as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, told Nigerians to have " a change of mind set; let us be positive for our country... develop spirit of more work, dedication, patriotism, after all we did not promise an ELDORADO from the beginning.... we need to contribute in all ways possible ... it’s time for work.. more hard work... not for our self aggrandizement .... but do this for the coming generation .... of our children and grandchildren....!

An Eldorado is an illusion, mirage of the existence of a well- endowed country in the South America which had all resources - especially abundant gold and where everything works perfectly! Obsessed Spanish explorers never found the nation!

Should Mr.Tinubu add insult to the injuries perpetrated through his gullibility on sudden removal of fuel subsidy without requisite palliatives to cushion the ripple effects of the sufferings on over 130 million multi-dimensional poverty-striken population?

THE SUPREME COURT CONSENSUS JUDGMENT IS REGRETTABLE!

The Nigerian 1999 Military Constitution could be best described as a conglomeration of obnoxious laws and treaties deliberately enacted to further subject socio-economically battered citizens to perpetual suffering by consecutive oligarchic governments forced upon them! Through the controversial document Mr. 'Bola Tinubu has bagged a four-year opportunity to free accommodation, meals, medical tourism, holidays etc. through a consensus Apex Court decision. The Supreme Court on Thursday 26th October 2023 was forced to uphold the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25 Presidential election.

It turned out a hatchet job for the SEVEN SUPREME COURT JUDGES who for the reason of their special number were expected to carry out a perfect national assignment. 

Biblically the Number 7 (seven), stands for perfection but their hands were tied due to the provisions of the obnoxious national document which turned out to be their albatross - the "legal working tool" and had no choice than to carry out the legal duties as guided by the extant laws as enacted in the bogus Constitution and the 2020 Electoral Laws as amended! While the learned judges were pained to the heart because the LAW WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN AN ASS, the motley gang of sadists which gathered at the STATE HOUSE ABUJA congratulated their mentor for the final victory and assured him of their solidarity while he in return promised that their jobs were secured. 

The political jobbers urge Mr. Tinubu to move forward with a sustained tempo of institutional corruption in spite of the fact that the economy has nose-dived and is on ground zero!

The apex court in its ruling dismissed the appeals by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart Peter Obi.

The seven-judge panel ruled as without merit the opposition appeals over claims of fraud, electoral law violations, and Tinubu’s ineligibility to run for president.

The apex court thrashed all the grounds of appeal of Atiku and PDP on qualification, non-compliance with the Electoral Act, the 25% votes in FCT, and electoral malpractice.

However President Bola Tinubu unlike late President Umar Yar 'Ardua who was voted in similar circumstances in the year 2007, hailed the Supreme Court verdict that upheld his electoral victory at the February 25, 2023 presidential poll. The apex court in its ruling dismissed the appeals by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar; and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi.

In the unanimous judgment, the apex court dismissed the petitions. A seven-judge panel ruled as without merit the opposition appeals over claims of fraud, electoral law violations, and Tinubu’s ineligibility to run for President.

IT IS TIME FOR US TO BUILD OUR GREAT NATION TOGETHER

I welcome the verdict of the Justice John I. Okoro-led Panel of the Supreme Court on the Presidential Election petitions filed by the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party, challenging the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

The court has done justice to all issues put up for consideration in the petitions on the merits of the law, without fear or favour.

There is no doubt, with the profound judgment of today, that our electoral jurisprudence and constitutional democracy are further consolidated and embedded more indelibly in our national identity because of the diligence and undaunted professionalism of the Honourable Justices who presided over the matter.

While the verdict of today has laid to rest the agitating discourse over who truly won the 2023 Presidential election and met the constitutional requirements as laid out by law, I want to reiterate that my faith in our nation’s judiciary has never been shaken, not even for a moment, because I know that our hallowed courts of law will not fail to administer justice to all Nigerians in all matters and at all times. Despite the fusillade of pressure and attempts at intimidation by some political actors, the judiciary demonstrated its unequivocal commitment to upholding the rule of law for the upliftment and defense of humanity.

It was affirmed once more today, that my party, the governing All Progressives’ Congress, had freely and fairly won the popular mandate of Nigerians, which has since given rise to my leadership of this great nation at a tumultuous period of unprecedented reforms in our history as a nation.

With deep gratitude to God Almighty, I solemnly and humbly accept today’s judicial victory with an intense sense of responsibility and a burning desire to meet the great challenges confronting our people.

The victory of today has further energised and strengthened my commitment to continue to serve all Nigerians of all political persuasions, tribes, and faiths, with honour and total respect for the diverse opinions and uniting values of our citizens.

Our Renewed Hope agenda for a greater and prosperous Nigeria has further gained momentum and I will continue to work from morning to night, every single day, to build a country that meets our collective yearnings and aspirations.

We are all members of one household, and this moment demands that we continue to work and build our country together. The strength of our diversity and the great citizenship that binds us must now compel us forward in directing the energy of our people towards building a virile, stronger, united, and more prosperous country.

In the days and months ahead, I trust that the spirit of patriotism will be elevated into supporting our administration to improve the living conditions of Nigerians. I am prepared to welcome the contributions of all Nigerians to foster and strengthen our collective progress.

I send my immense gratitude to all Nigerians for the mandate to serve our country. I promise again to meet and exceed your expectations in service delivery and good governance, working with my team and trusting in the grace of God.

May God continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

POLITICIANS OFFSHORE ACCOUNTS CAN OFFSET ALL FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC DEBTS OF NIGERIA.

It is no longer a secret that many Nigerian politicians have illicit monies acquired through corruption and stashed away in unscrupulous foreign banks which feast on fat interest rates to the detriment of compliance to international best practice in banking rules and regulations!

Leading the pack of hidden foreign loots is none other than the late Military dictator Sani Abacha, who occupied the position of Head of State of Nigeria for five years (1993-1998), successful transferred the entire Central Bank's Vault to foreign banks in his name!

In July 2023, it was established that the total recovered Abacha Loot stood at USD$5 billion dollars and the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered FOUR PAST GOVERNMENT to disclose, confirm and explain disbursement of the said amount which has been shrouded in mystery for 24 years!

The court ordered the government of President Bola Tinubu to “disclose the exact amount of money stolen by General Sani Abacha from Nigeria."

The Federal High Court in Abuja, in a landmark judgment, has ordered the disclosure of the spending details of about $5 billion Abacha loot by the governments of former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Yar’Adua, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari within SEVEN DAYS of the ruling following a suit against the Federal Government by the Social-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP).

The court ordered the government of President Bola Tinubu to “disclose the exact amount of money stolen by General Sani Abacha from Nigeria, and the total amount of Abacha loot recovered and all agreements signed on same by the governments of former presidents Obasanjo, Yar’Adua, Jonathan and Buhari.”

It's over THREE MONTHS since the judgment and Mr. Tinubu's  All Progressives Congress is yet to come up with any report! Will those governments which display official impunity with relish continue to have their way

Saraki, Mark, Others In Trouble As Presidency Orders Probe Of Nigerians Named In Panama Papers ,August 19, 2016.

The senate president, Bukola Saraki, and his predecessor, David Mark, and other prominent Nigerians may soon be in trouble as the Presidency has ordered the investigation of present and past Nigerian officials named in the Panama Papers scandal. The chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, Sam Saba, confirmed the directive to PREMIUM TIMES. This newspaper had published leaked papers from a Panamanian law firm, Mossack Fonsecca, which were obtained by the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung.

The 2.6 TB files, involving 214,488 entities, exposed incredible secrets of the underworld economy, where a network of banks, law firms and other middlemen utilize shell companies, sometimes to hide illegal wealth.

PREMIUM TIMES identified at least 110 Nigerians and companies operating offshore shell companies in tax havens. Mr. Saba said the Presidency forwarded names of some persons mentioned in the Panama Papers, to the agency for investigation.

“I want to let you know that government has written to us and given us some names based on what they have been reading and hearing regarding that document,” Mr. Saba said.

He said as soon as the #PanamaPapers reporting started, the CCB attempted to get the full leaks until PREMIUM TIMES assisted it by making some details for its scrutiny.

Mr. Saba said the CCB, after studying the papers, has questions for some public officers in the country.

He would not, however, disclose the names of the affected public officers.

“I think it (Panama Papers) is going to be helpful because already we have some questions for certain public officers, which I will not be able to disclose at the moment. Until they finish answering those questions, I may not be able to discuss it,” he said.

The CCB boss said the agency took some time to respond because it could not secure the leaked documents.

“I tried to access the document via the internet, but I was required to subscribe and pay some money, which I didn’t have, M. Saba said.

PETER OBI, LABOR PARTY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE ALSO HAS CASE TO ANSWER!

It was revealed that Mr Peter obi also had money stashed away in offshore accounts identified as the PANDORA PAPERS, and failed to disclose his involvement in money laundering!

He denied any wrong doing, contested the 2023 Presidential Elections on which he came THIRD, but he's in court to claim the FIRST position!

QUESTIONS:

For how long will Nigerians continue to be thread roughshod by corrupt politicians from 1960-2023? 

All the candidates at the last 2023 Presidential Elections had black spots and dents in respect of dubious acquisition of illegal wealth and yet were voted for by a manipulated Electorate!

On Monday the 23rd of October 2023 the Supreme Court of Nigeria will give its judgement on the Appeals made by the runners up against the incumbent Bola Ahmed Tinubu!

Whichever way it goes Nigeria no longer needs a presidential system of government but a Unicameral PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM which will give opportunity to CLEAN PARLIAMENTARIANS from the grassroots to participate in governance henceforth.

 It is our firm belief that this system of government which WE HAVE ADVOCATED FOR TEN GOOD YEARS WILL COME TO FRUITION THROUGH A POPULAR REFERENDUM!

SUBSIDY IS GONE.... SUBSIDY IS BACK!

Nigerians will for a long time find it very difficult to come to terms with the contentious and sudden issue of petroleum subsidy removal!

The number one man on the day of his investiture committed policy error on a very delicate and sensitive issue to which no palliatives was in place to cushion negative socio-economic effects on the life of an entire population of over 220 million citizens of the vast country! 

Presently across the entire six geo-political zones of the country, there is scarcity of petroleum products especially the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly called Petrol although there are no long queues but the reasons are not far-fetched,!

International pump prices have skyrocketed to beyond NGN950 naira per litre because of the persistent Russia-Ukraine War, Afghanistan, Iran uprisings and now Gaza- Israel!  However, having unprofessionally pegged the new astronomical prices of "unsubsidized" petrol at NGN617naira from NGN195 naira - not excluding diesel which price hovers between NGN1400-1500  naira, INTERNATIONAL MARKET FORCES, was no longer of any effect and Mr. 'Bola Tinubu and his confused economic advisers have to swallow their pride and held on to NGN615 naira per litre which MUST be subsided!

QUESTION: WHAT OR WHO IS INTERNATIONAL MARKET FORCES? PRESIDENT TINIBU OR NNPCL?

As the organised Labor - NLC-TUC warmed up for a national showdown, of an indefinite nation-wide strike, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited, hurriedly announced that Nigeria's PMS pump price remained NGN615 naira per litre! "Subsidy is gone? But Subsidy is back through the BACK DOOR" because the NNPCL -  sole importer of petroleum products would definitely pay the differentials!

CAN ANYONE GIVE OUT WHAT HE DOES NOT POSSES OR BUILD SOMETHING ON NOTHING? NO!!

 One month ago when international market forces pushed prices to between NGN800 -850 naira the Group Managing Director (GMD);of the NNPCL panicky announced that pump price of petrol in Nigeria remained NGN615 naira! But sooner than later, the whole unholy and illicit racket of decades of the SUBSIDY SCAM would burst open scandalously and heads will roll!

President Tinubu has nothing to offer Nigeria! He should bow out voluntarily if he is honourable!

At the last count Tinubu has officially employed over 50 ministers over 25 special advisers and has moved on to dish out juicy appointments to heads of Ministries, Departments, Agencies and parastatals who would not work for free!

Tinubu appoints new heads for CAC, SMEDAN, others

President Bola Tinubu on Friday 13th October, 2023 approved the appointment of new  Chief Executive Officers of some agencies and parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment.

In a statement released on Friday by the President’s Special Adviser (Media & Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale, the appointment is in line with Tinubu’s resolve to base Nigeria’s economic revival on the foundation of trade expansion through small, medium, and large-scale industry facilitation in the country. 

The appointments take immediate effect.

Those appointed are, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN -Corporate Affairs Commission;  Afiz Ogun Oluwatoyin -Industrial Training Fund; Kamar Bakrin- National Sugar Development Council; Olufemi Ogunyemi- Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority; and Nonye Ayeni -Nigeria Export Promotion Council.

Others are,  Aisha Rimi-Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission; Bamanga Usman Jada- Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority; Charles Odii- Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria; Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke- Standards Organisation of Nigeria; Rabiu Olowo-Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria; Anthony Atuche, CFA – Nigeria Commodities Exchange; Veronica Safiya Ndanusa- Lagos International Trade Fair Complex; Lucia Shittu-Tafawa Balewa Square Management Board; and Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin- National Automotive Design and Development Council

The statement added that “President Bola Tinubu expects all new appointees in this critical sector to optimally deliver in accordance with new key performance indicating benchmarks as established by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment”.

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of new and returning Chief Executives to fresh terms in office across multiple agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy:

1) EVC / CEO, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) — Aminu Maida

2) MD / CEO, Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) — Nkechi Egerton-Idehen

3) DG / CEO, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) — Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi

4) National Commissioner / CEO, Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) — Dr. Vincent Olatunji

5) Postmaster General / CEO, Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) — Tola Odeyemi

Furthermore, in line with President Bola Tinubu’s determination to maximally leverage on Nigeria’s proven technological and digital economic prowess to reposition the nation’s economy toward greater financial inclusion, the President has approved the appointment of a new Special Adviser to the President.

What is the total debt burden of Nigeria?

The Debt Management Office (DMO), stated, “Nigeria's total public debt stock as at June 30, 2023, was N87. 38tn ($113.42bn). It comprises the total domestic and external debts of the Federal Government of Nigeria, the thirty-six states, and the Federal Capital Territory. “The major addition to the Public Debt Stock was the inclusion of the N22.15 Sept 2023!

This is a 75% increase of additional debt burden in THREE MONTHS and yet Tinubu is ready to BORROW AND PAY SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES to his retinue of political jobbers but he will not succeed!
