ZION B-BC NEWSLETTER. [ A Publication of the Zion Faith Bible-Believing Church, Kpeyegyi, Abuja.] Vol.28. 24-02-14. SANUSI’S DEBACLE VERSUS BODY LANGUAGE! Man is created in God’s image and likeness, in a tripartite form, that is, body soul and spirit. Man’s body is the earthly tabernacle which houses the others. At conversion, when a man decides to abandon all carnal activities like, sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, (extensive indulgence in sex, alcohol and drug); idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, egotism, inordinate ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, etc., only his Spirit, which communicates with God, gets converted, not his Body! The body is not converted because it still has to deal with our senses of sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch by which it perceives things. The fall of Adam and Eve in Genesis Chapter 3, reminds one of the roles played by their senses when confronted by Satan, the crafty deceiver. Mrs. Eve Adam agreed that the forbidden fruit was good for food, pleasing to the eye and also desirable for gaining wisdom. She ate and convinced her husband who equally ate and thereby disobeyed God’s command in Gen. 2:15-17! The behaviour of the first couple was an attitude of speaking with the body language instead of the spirit’s and also portrayed the body as vulnerable. However, all children of God are enjoined to subdue their bodies and subject them to the authority of the Holy Spirit in order to overcome in the evil days of temptation.[Ephesians. 6:10-18]. It is written that the spiritual foundation of the Believer, should and must be, the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the epitome of holiness and righteousness, which are the great attributes of the God Head. We must always present our bodies (temple of God), as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, because this attitude is our spiritual act of worship. Body language is always instigated through satanic or demonic whims and caprices, which are suggestions that are always contrary to God’s commandments and rational decisions! We must no longer conform with the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind in other to fit into God’s perfect will. To the Romans of his time and by extension to us of this Dispensation of Grace, is the following Apostle Paul’s spiritual injunction addressed; “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s Temple, and that God‘s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s Temple, God will destroy him; for God’ Temple is sacred and you are that Temple.”[1Corinthians.3:16; compare, with verses 10-15]. For the Church, members of the body of Christ, to be regarded as Temple of God, is both, a great honour and spiritual challenge, for the greater works, predicted by our Lord, Jesus Christ in the Gospel according to St. John.14:12. But in spite of the divine punishment to be visited on all who desecrate the Temple of God, the present generation of the descendants of Adam and Eve, like their progenitors, have become more insensitive, deaf and dumb to all godly entreaties! All social vices of the body language which are abominable, have become order of the day, because, practitioners are filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity! The apostles of body language are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice; they are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents, they are senseless, faithless, heartless, and ruthless! Although, they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, yet, they not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them with relish and impunity! Whistle and trumpet blowers in Nigeria will now blow at the risk to their lives, freedom or source of income, because the Commandant-General of the Body Language Association[BLA], has declared war on all activities of self-appointed ombudsmen/women and do-gooders in the polity! Once upon a time, there was a very patriotic Chairman of the Committee on Power, saddled with the onerous oversight duty of unravelling all the malpractices that bedevilled that sensitive and strategic sector of the economy whose overzealousness, nearly landed him in prison! As he and his committee busied themselves, making shocking discoveries of unexecuted contracts across Nigeria, running into billions of naira and dollars, members of the BLA had perfected a devious plan to discredit all unpalatable findings against the administration of the incumbent by accusing Mr. Chairman of having benefitted from several Power Project contracts in the past! He was promptly arrested and arraigned before the law courts with trumped up charges! That Power Project Report, like some others after it, have been destroyed and buried and the patriotic chairman, having had his integrity maligned, was eventually set free by a court of competent jurisdiction and had since been minding his own business! Another ombudsman and whistle-blower, in the person of the erstwhile Governor of the Central Bank, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has suffered suspension and may likely face prosecution for poke-nosing into the affairs of the BLA! Though in government and the chief custodian of the Federation Account, this fire-brand social critic, never stopped to expose all the financial malpractices that have bedevilled the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation[NNPC], and, but for him, $49.8 Billion US Dollars, would have been completely swallowed by BLA, and the impoverished masses continue to wallow in abject poverty! As at the time of printing this Newsletter, both of the hallowed chambers of the National Assembly [NASS], are probing all manners of financial impropriety against NNPC, as all parties have agreed that only $20Billion US Dollars, was actually unremitted or missing and from the Lower House came another startling revelation, that $700m US Dollars was being paid daily as KEROSINE SUBSIDY to ‘contractors’, in spite of the Presidential directives against payment of subsidy on Kerosine! Sanusi who has been suspended by Mr. President, has sworn to go to court, to challenge that action which is ‘ultra vires’ to the letters of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s[CBN’S] Act through which he was employed. Section 11(1)(d) and 11(1)(f), of the CBN Act, clearly spell out the limitations of Mr. President as follows: Section 11. Disqualification and cessation of appointment. A person shall not remain a Governor, Deputy Governor or Director of the Bank if he is- ( a) a member of any Federal or State legislative house; or (b) a Director, officer or employee of any bank licensed under the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act. (2) The Governor, Deputy Governor or Director shall cease to hold office in the Bank if he- (a) becomes of unsound mind or, owning to ill-health, is incapable of carrying out his duties; (b) is convicted of any criminal offence by a court of competent jurisdiction, except for traffic offences or contempt proceedings arising in connection with the execution or intended execution of any power or duty conferred under this Act or the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act; (c) is guilty of a serious misconduct in relation to his duties under this Act; (d) is disqualified or suspended from practising his profession in Nigeria by order of a competent authority made in respect of him personally; (e) becomes bankrupt; (f) is removed by the President: Provided that the removal of the Governor shall be supported by two-thirds majority of the Senate praying that he so be removed. We are not aware of any official communication of gross misconduct or dereliction of duty to Mallam Sanusi before the 20 February, 2014 sack letter, which listed financial infractions and acts of financial recklessness committed by the Central Bank, as reflected in the bank’s audited financial statements of 2012 by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, to include but not limited to the following; *Gross breaches of the Public Procurement Act, *Reckless use of funds in executing of about 63 intervention projects across Nigeria with over N163billion, Naira, without authorization and, *Questionable write-off of N40billion loans of a bank. In a ‘bloodless coup’, Sanusi, was eased out of office in absentia while on an official assignment in the Niger Republic, and was also disgraced by operatives of the State Security Service (SSS), who briefly detained but later released him having seized his passport. It must be put on record that Sanusi remains a key witness in the ongoing probes of NNPC by both Chambers of NASS and must be given the latitude to expose all financial mismanagement deeds of the organisation because we know that his own travail is an after- thought of government to muzzle the whistle blower! An African adage says that, a Witch cried at night and a child gave up the ghost in the morning; the assumption is that the former killed the latter! Sanusi stepped into the witness box and shouted to high heavens in respect of missing billions of government’s United States Dollars in NNPC’S custody and the big MAFIA ROD fell heavily to silence him as it has taken 14 months to discover that Sanusi also has some skeleton in his cupboard! The incumbent government’s opposition to the TRUTH should not discourage other whistle blowers, instead, they should be encouraged with the SANUSI’S DEBACLE and ’HALLA’, shout the more, at the roof top and all the market places of the world! The BLA Boss who was accused of a kind of thick skin that does not feel or see corruption, has hit back at his traducers that they are the ones in the GLASS HOUSE, and throwing stones! Has he shot himself in the foot or has he scored a point? As the Big Brother Africa inmates play out their tasks like ‘strange bed fellows’, we are certain that Nigerians will vote for the authentic candidate on LOVE DAY FEBRUARY 14,2014, in Jesus’ Christ’s mighty name! Amen If you have not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, don’t miss this great opportunity as you pray this prayer: Lord Jesus; I confess that I am a sinner who needs to be saved through the grace of the New Testament of your Blood, shed on the Cross at Calvary; I renounces every sin in my life and accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive me and write my name in the Book of Life. Amen. If you prayed this prayer, you have been admitted into the family of sons and daughters of God, who are born-again. Congratulations. Please look forward to more divine revelation in the next edition of Zion B-BC Newsletter as you share this with friends and remain blessed in the Lord. Wednesday 5 February 2014

The story of Righteous Noah , who dwelt in the midst of a sinful, riotous and evil generation, and had favour with the Almighty God, should bring consolation and fresh hope to all good and law-abiding people of this great country. We have the authority of the Living God to prophecy, that Nigeria will neither split not disintegrate, not in 2015, 2019, 2023, 2027, nor forever, because the plan of God for this nation is divine and certain and has no place for surrogate and confused leaders, who found themselves in office unprepared!! They will all pass away like the chaff in the wind!

Those who hope in the LORD and trustfully look to Him to bestow life and its blessings as a gift will inherit the land of Nigeria; not those, who apart from God and by evil means, try to take possession of it and its wealth.

ZION B-BC NEWSLETTER. [ A Publication of the Zion Faith Bible-Believing Church, Kpeyegyi, Abuja.] Vol.25. 02-01-14. LET THERE BE EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF OUR GOD-GIVEN COMMONWEALTH! The generation, transmission and equitable distribution of God-given resources to all citizens, must not be bedevilled with myopic politicking but, treated as the most important priority policy of serious government administrations. The genesis of such policy should be premised on honest party manifestoes of electioneering campaigns that are later transmuted to the operative agenda, when victory is achieved. The Nigerian ruling party’s seven – point political agenda on assumption of office was hinged on Education, Food security or Agriculture, Power and Energy, Transport sector, Wealth creation, Land reforms, and Security: Niger Delta/Boko Haram; which the Opposition and Civil Society Organizations [CSOs] are closely monitoring. The verb, ‘generate’, means, to cause something to happen or exist, to produce capacities in some particular forms, to articulate or create a new development and in this context, something positive and beneficial, to all and sundry. Because the Nigerian Project needs capable and dedicated managers who can generate and deliver sound and workable, basic opportunities of life for the citizens, Mr. President has wasted no time in reshuffling his cabinet for better deliverance of the dividends of democracy. The next eleven months will be very crucial for Mr President who is still nursing the inordinate ambition of another (third?) term in office! Let us scrutinize his deft moves and permutations on the ‘Chess Board’ of the, ’Transformation Agenda’: *Shortly before the close of 2013, ‘massive funds’ were injected into the tertiary Education sector, in order to douse ASUU’s [Academic Staff Union of Universities’], hardened posture to dent his political credentials for 2015! However, he still has a deficit in respect of the Polytechnic Lecturers Strike, now in its sixth month, because the PDP [Peoples Democratic Party], has reneged its agenda which specifically states that government would ensure that the minimum acceptable international standards in tutoring and learning skills in science and technology, would be achieved to launch Nigerian students as future innovators and industrialists! What was GOD’s agenda on Education? After creation, man was given incisive lectures on the nature of his new environment and also divine instructions in respect of his moral and spiritual obligations. At a point in time God set an examination to test Adam’s intellectual capacity by asking him to name all beasts of the field and all birds of the air.[Genesis. 2:19-23]. Adam passed with distinction and also identified the woman as, “….bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, for she was taken out of woman.” How intelligent are Nigerian students of the 21 Century technologically-advanced universe? *On Food Security or Agriculture, we share the testimonies of both Mr. President and his Minister, which confirm credible successes in that sector within the past three years of this administration. We have it on good authority that this agrarian reform which places emphasis on modern technology, research, production and development of agricultural inputs, would revolutionize the sector. In fact, it is projected that in no distant future, Nigeria will not only be self-sufficient in massive domestic and commercial outputs but, will also export agricultural products to earn the revenue, needed to boost our depleting foreign reserves! We do pray that unlike Adam, who derailed after much successes in the Garden of Eden, (Gen.3:1-24), Jonathan’s administration, would remain on course and salvage this nation from the very dicey, ‘crude-oil mono-product’ monopoly! *Mr. President who is also very passionate to deliver on his electioneering campaign promise to ensure Nigeria’s ability to develop as a modern economy and an industrial, nation by the year 2015, is working very hard to fulfil the target. We are convinced, like Mr President, that as long as the SUN rotates in its orbit, and government’s infrastructural reforms are in place, solar Power and Energy, will not by-pass or elude this great nation! * The Transport Sector is not side-lined, though, Mr President hardly travels by road. His energetic and very efficient Minister of Works, has revolutionized the poor road networks to allow for smooth mass transit of people, goods and services across the length and breadth of this vast nation. The perennial gridlock, regularly experienced by transporters at the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Benin-Ore Road, Onitsha Head Bridge, Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Road, have all disappeared, due to presidential interest that also embraced the rehabilitation and modernization of the Railways and the opening of the inland waterways. *The need for diversification from total reliance on non-renewable crude oil revenue, actually prompted Mr President’s policy on Wealth Creation through multiple revenue generation from Agriculture and the Solid Mineral Sectors. There is no doubt that government’s efforts are yielding positive results and we hope that the in-coming 2015 Administration, will eventually actualize, Nigeria’s dream in this direction. *Past and present administrations have failed the citizens in respect of policies on Land Reforms, which became obnoxious with military fiat which declared every inch of the Nigerian nation as ‘government’s property! All lands in Nigeria belong to Nigerians, who inherited them as birthrights from their ancestors and it is anti-people for any government, democratic or military, to STEAL these inalienable properties under any guise, because, the people’s representatives, must always form the governments according to divine order![Gen. 1:26-31; Deuteronomy. 17:15;Jeremiah.30:21]. Like its predecessors, this administration has deprived the masses of their rights to land ownership and decent accommodations but consented to insensitive acts of demolition of the masses properties to pave way for the ‘rich and affluent’ in the society to increase their avarice. A people-friendly government should, under normal circumstances, purchase or request for willing land donations for purposes of commercialized farming, industrialization and other such ventures that would improve and boost the masses economic status. *Security challenges have been the bane of all emerging administrations, since the end of Nigeria’s 30-month civil war, which ended in January 1970. Before the advent of the revived democratic dispensation in 1999, Niger Delta militants began demands for resource control/adequate compensation for damages done to their lands through oil exploration and exploitation. Bombs detonated indiscriminately by the militants and which continuously resulted in massive losses of innocent lives, forced government to negotiate amnesty. The persistent Boko Haram security challenge facing Mr. President as he dreams for another term in 2015, was actually ‘inherited’! So far there is a stalemate and it is expected that God will impart wisdom to the new Service Chiefs for a final and lasting solution to the almost five-year of insurgency, which began in 2009. Has the present administration been TRANSMITING, the dividends of democracy to the uncommon masses of Nigeria, through credible execution of all of the items on its articulated 7-Point Agenda? There should be no confusion between TRANSFORMATION AND TRANSMISSION. Transformation is the President’s own formula through which, he strongly believes, he could change the Nigerian State, from the position of a developing nation, to an economically viable State, to be listed among the twenty most-industrialized nations of the world, in the year, 2020! Transmission, is the process of passing something, (in this context, dividends of democracy), from one person or place to another. If the answer to this question is in the affirmative, there is yet another question begging for an answer; “Is Mr President’s administration, DISTRIBUTING, (equitably), to the masses, dividends of democracy according to his 7-point agenda? We would like to inform our readers that, there is an unbreakable bond of unity between, GENERATION, TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION. Whatever is generated as the commonwealth , MUST be forwarded without delay to the transmission crew, who in turn MUST, despatch expeditiously to the distribution personnel, who MUST be judicious and prudent in ensuring that everyone got his/her fair share! Transmission is the link between, Generation and Distribution; …… without genuine transmission, nothing positive would happen or achieved! With a kind of sincere arrangement as this, all righteousness would be fulfilled as security challenges (bane of economic development), would disappear and the much-sought-after PEACE, would envelope the land. Our democracy is hinged on the three tier system of government, the EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATIVE AND THE JUDICIARY, which must unite to balance the equation of the Nigerian Project and our advice to Mr. President, if he makes it in 2015, is to introduce a completely new agenda of TRANSMUTATION! Transmutation means, to change something COMPLETELY, especially, into something different and better; like changing LEAD into GOLD, for instance, without exterminating all DROSS AND CORRUPTION!!! Goodluck, Mr. President. ! If you have not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, don’t miss this great opportunity as you pray this prayer: Lord Jesus; I confess that I am a sinner who needs to be saved through the grace of the New Testament of your Blood, shed on the Cross at Calvary; I renounce every sin in my life and accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive me and write my name in the Book of Life. Amen. If you prayed this prayer, you have been admitted into the family of sons and daughters of God, who are born-again. Congratulations. ZION B-BC NEWSLETTER. [ A Publication of the Zion Faith Bible-Believing Church, Kpeyegyi, Abuja.] Vol.22. 12-01-14. RICH PASTORS WORLD-WIDE .ORG We know how they got it all wrong! Rich Pastors read the BIBLE as a book of fables. They interpreted the verse which says that, Jesus Christ lived as a poor person, so that the believer could become rich, to mean, “earthly riches,”- a deliberate plan to propagate the doctrine of prosperity, which encourages apostasy, (the falling away from faith), in the Church! Rich Pastors deceived their flocks into parting with their monies without feeding them with messages of salvation but incorporated the churches into commercial enterprises for the accumulation of wealth and riches from various sources. They have deliberately refused to conform with the Lord’s template, the Word on Marble, ‘……freely you have received, freely give.’[Matthew.10:7-9]. Believers are not forbidden to acquire riches legitimately, but such should be spiritually converted, through philanthropic gestures to the poor, needy, destitute, orphans, and widows, while on earth, in exchange for spending eternity with God. The Lord’s riches are neither in currency denominations nor in financial Shares and Bonds, which are vanities of this world, but of eternal grace borne out of love for humanity. Jesus Christ once borrowed an empty boat for evangelism but returned it overlaid with fishes! At another time, He was besieged by a multitude during His private desert retreat where he fed them with messages of salvation. Later, He borrowed five loaves and two fishes from a little boy, to feed five thousand hungry people and twelve baskets were still left over to feed more people. The divine command is that the believer should study to show himself approved unto GOD, a workman who should not be ashamed to correctly divide the WORD of truth. [2 Timothy. 2:15]. Today’s rich pastor, like his biblical counterpart, found it very difficult to sell all his property, give the proceeds to the poor and enrol as the Lord’s disciple. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.” [2Cor.8:9]. The divine truth here is that The Eternal Son of God in His incarnation and His atoning death in our place on the Cross, emptied Himself of His riches, laid aside His deity to redeem humanity. He now saves all who believe and they become heirs and joint heirs with Father and Son respectively. The entire Chapter is devoted to the Macedonian Churches, who, through the grace of God, though were in a most severe trial, expressed overflowing joy, and their extreme poverty, welled up in rich generosity of supporting the poor Saints at Jerusalem! Today, the entrepreneurs and their large wares of merchandise have resurfaced at the Temples, thereby erasing the memory of the Lord’s action of overturning the bureau-de-change tables and His stern warning against turning His Father’s House into a den of robbers! Today, Rich Pastors World Wide.Org is listed on the STOCK EXCHANGE, having clinched the TOP TEN positions among the Captain of Industries in the United States of America and Nigeria, in 2014! The richest of the rich pastors hails from Uncle Sam’s country with a total asset of $150million; while, positions five to ten are conveniently occupied by Nigerians, who are no pushovers in the art of money-making, legal and illegal! We are told that these men of God are super rich and possess large choice properties including jet aircrafts which ferry them across the length and breadth of the globe. The Rich Pastors’ aim is to compare favourably with global business icons and moguls; like Billionaires Carlos Slim, Bill Gates, Amancio Ortega, Warren Buffet , Larry Ellison, Charles Koch, David Koch, Li Ka Shing, etc, having lost the realm of their first estate by engaging in the global ‘rat race’ competition for earthly riches. Christians are enjoined not to love the world and its ephemerals, if they would remain in divine fellowship, for the lust of the flesh and eyes, including the pride of life, are not of the Father, but of the world which is gradually perishing. What would it profit any man if he gained the whole world and with such acquisition lose his soul in eternity? Where is the position of the congregation that lays the “golden eggs” in the entire unfolding scenario? Without the congregation, there can be no Church or Churches; no offerings, no tithes, “no Holy Spirit-inspired” expensive gifts of cars and houses for the Pastors, no annual all-expenses-paid overseas holiday trips for pastors and their families, etc. We understand that some of them are not, “actually depending solely” on their congregations, because they write books and print magazines, to support their ministries and we suggest, they lift ‘THE SPELL, let the people go’ and then count, what is left of their dollars! But these men of God are not ignorant of the power of digital numbers in the success of any business enterprise and will therefore guard their ‘flock’ very jealously! It is common knowledge today, that senior staff of big business concerns, have abandoned their cosy offices to woo peasants in the market places of the world in order to make huge profits for their enterprises. The Lord Jesus Christ did not exploit his multitude, instead, He gave His unflinching love, even unto death, on the Cross at Calvary. He was the Rich-Poor Vessel of God who preached without price, wrought miracles without money, He never possessed the value of one kobo, He was so poor that He had no roof over His head, though ‘foxes have holes, birds have nests’; He neither had a wardrobe nor change of clothing and sandals, He had neither wealth nor influence, neither training nor education, He never wrote a book, yet all the libraries of the world could not hold the books that could be written about Him! “He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor.” The Rich Pastors have not emulated the sterling virtues of holiness, righteousness, faithfulness contentment and integrity for which the Lord was and is still highly regarded and respected. They have not copied the template of the Early Church congregation who unanimously agreed that the word POVERTY should be permanently expunged from their religious vocabulary. “And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold. And laid them at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.”[Acts.4:32-35; compare v36-37 with, 5:1-12]. Today’s super rich pastors can be likened to the Ananias’ and Sapphiras’ of the 3 Century Church; greedy, selfish, carnal, lovers of their own self, covetous boasters, blasphemers, unthankful, unholy, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of GOD while the lot of their congregation is worse than that of the proverbial, ‘church rat’! A man of God is expected to earn salaries and allowances for his labour at the ALTAR through tithes and offerings collected from the congregation and from his earnings, pay tithe of tithes to his Melchizedek, Aaron or Mentor in the Ministry of God. With this divine arrangement, there is no way any pastor would become super rich except he belonged to the Ananias’ and Sapphiras’ of this end-time world who reneged on the agreement of a common purse and kept some monies back for the ‘rainy day’! Take a glimpse of the life style of today’s church congregation and if you are God-fearing, you will weep like Jesus Christ wept over Jerusalem! The congregation, except for some who are in league with these end-time pastors, dwell in penury, abject poverty and squalor; because, from their ‘little drops’, the mighty ocean of dollars, are gathered for the pastors who are foxes in sheep clothing! As the congregation’s monies are laid at the rich pastors feet, they smile to the banks with the millions of dollars, with much relish and protect themselves with a retinue of armed body guards twenty-four hours daily, even during church services! THIS IS UNCHARITABLE, UNCHRISTLIKE, UNGODLY AND THEREFORE CONDEMNABLE! Many Christians (especially in Nigeria), have expressed shock that in spite of a conglomerate of churches, crime statistics of insurgency, arson, terrorism, armed robbery, kidnapping, oil bunkering, money laundering, still escalate instead of abating and the most disturbing aspect is that, frustrated members of the congregation, who are victims of ‘prosperity doctrine and messages’ of the rich pastors are in large numbers among the terror gangs, in Nigeria! They are in Police and Prison ‘awaiting trial cells’, across the length and breath of Nigeria and overseas. We are reliably informed that some Nigerian convicts, (including a former Christian, South-South Governor), would soon be repatriated, under a bilateral agreement, to complete their terms, ‘at home!’ God-fearing Christians are angry and are commenting negatively, but we will proffer two immediate solutions; first, that the FIVE listed super-rich pastors and their unlisted colleagues, be reminded that God’s judgment begins with the CHURCH and should therefore, on their volition make compulsory RESTITUTIONS; ie, by transferring all looted funds in their local and domiciliary accounts to their Churches Accounts; movable and immovable properties, aircrafts, vehicles, commercial and educational institutions, should be included in the assets transfer to be biblically distributed according to NEEDS and like the prodigal, apologize and pledge to their various congregations, home and abroad, never to covet, steal nor sin any more! Second, they should as a matter of urgency, embark on a compulsory 100-day fasting and prayer activities to which they have consistently subjected their poor, ‘over used and spiritually abused’ congregation, ask for forgiveness from the Lord, who would require the account of their stewardship and also accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. We are very certain that Jehovah, who loves sinners, will forgive and save them from damnation to eternal Hell fire! Amen. [ A Publication of the Zion Faith Bible-Believing Church, Kpeyegyi, Abuja.] Vol.20. 29-12-13. YOU DARE NOT STEAL THE GOOSE THAT LAYS THE BLACK GOLD! There is a devious plan by the cabal in government to rob the Nigerian uncommon masses of their only goose that lays the black gold! BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE, patriotic and upright Nigerians of integrity MUST rise in unity to salvage whatever is left of our COMMONWEALTH before these prodigals destroy and reduce the citizens to a state of abject poverty! The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation [NNPC], was established on April 1, 1977, as a merger of the Nigerian National Oil Corporation [NNOC] and Federal Ministry of Mines & Steel and by legislation NNPC, manages the joint venture between, the Federal Government of Nigeria and a number of foreign multi-national corporations which include, Royal Dutch Shell, AGIP, EXXON MOBIL, CHEVRON and TEXACO (now merged with CHEVRON). Through collaboration with these foreign concerns, NNPC, conducts petroleum exploration and production as the department saddled with the sole responsibility for the upstream and downstream developments, regulation and supervision of the Oil and Gas Industry on behalf of the Nigerian Government. This Sole Administrator status since 1988, when the Corporation, was commercialized into 11 strategic business units, covering the whole spectrum of operations, exploration and production, gas development, refining and distribution, petrochemicals, engineering and commercial investments, metamorphosed NNPC, into a massively petro dollar rich organisation. The cabal however, has tried unsuccessfully to hoodwink all Non-Governmental Organisations [NGOS] and Civil Society Groups with prying eyes to the contrary! Without the NNPC petro dollar money, the Federal Government cannot prepare annual national budgets of appropriation to cater for the economic welfare of all Nigerians and the multiplier effects for such administrative lapse will manifest in the lack of all basic amenities of life, like portable water, medical equipments and drugs for all category of health care facilities, good vehicular roads, agricultural implements for improved farm products, qualitative basic, secondary and tertiary education for all citizens, equitable loans for those who engage in small-scale industry schemes and other economic incentives to make life more meaningful. But the cabal is bent on portraying the activities of this ‘goose’, in a very bad light, with a view to discredit and auction it for sale! Up to December 2011, NNPC remained the only department that could not produce any credible financial record because it was never audited or probed since inception because of the powerful cabal, manipulating its day-to-day economic operations. According to feeders from the House of Representatives, NNPC has no existing record on: *Daily crude oil output, *Export statistics and *Monthly revenue from crude oil sales since the discovery of oil in 1968, and that, between January and November 2013, the corporation, remitted only $7billion out of the $20 billion USD which accrued from crude oil sales into the Federation Account contrary to Section 162 of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution! How can a department established by government to harness all derivable economic gains in the petroleum sector suddenly become odious, while all economic activities are revolving around it? The answers can be traced to the unmasked cabal which has hijacked and is controlling all resources accruing to the corporation! The Governors of the 36 States and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory [FCT], need not raise any finger to finance their projects, domestic or interstate, through internally generated funds; all they need do is, gather at the “Banqueting Hall” in Abuja to collect their monthly ‘Statutory Allocations’ from the oil money, deposited in the Federation Account by NNPC. To date, no past or present Administrator, or any employee of NNPC or its subsidiaries, has been successfully prosecuted for any crime of fraud, oil bunkering, money laundering embezzlement, misappropriation or misapplication of oil and gas proceeds! We are reliably informed that oil bunkering in the Niger Delta is a free-for-all venture for all and sundry. Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, on September 25, 2013, added his voice to prove the enormous wealth at the disposal of NNPC, through a ‘private letter’ in the public domain, to Mr. President, stating that there was a deliberate effort on the part of the corporation to cover up a whooping sum of $49.8billion, USD, of crude oil shipment proceeds, between January 2012 and July 2013, which represented 76 per cent of the value of 594.024 million barrels of crude oil, lifted in the same period! The cabal in government has been acknowledged by both past and present administrations without any positive effort to immobilize its authority. The cabal is the invincible group that calls the shots and is able to fix any challenge in its favour. Presently, different stories are now making rounds; the first was from the author, who stated that, he was probably misinformed of the actual figure and second was Minister of Finance, who told a Senate Committee probing the allegations that only $10.8billion USD, was actually unremitted! This cover-up of the 76per cent of our economic income by those who should expose it, is a big rip off that must be thoroughly investigated and punished. According to the Nigerian Constitution, all mineral, gas and oil, explored and exploited from the country are legal property of the Federal Government and as such, all Oil Corporations operating in Nigeria must appropriate portions of their generated revenue which accrues to nearly 60 per cent, to the Federal Government. The petro dollars gained by NNPC, accounts for 76 per cent of Federal Government’s revenue and 40 per cent of the entire country’s Gross Domestic Product [GDP]. In the year 2000 alone, oil and gas exports accounted for 98 per cent of Nigeria’s export earnings! These earnings by the Oil and Gas Corporation, had deceived policy makers to turn blind eye to other sources of national revenue in the agriculture and mineral resource sectors. CORRUPTION AT NNPC! In the year 2002, the Head of the Nigerian Wing of Transparency International, observed that, NNPC workers salaries were too low to prevent graft; but we cannot vouchsafe or ascertain that the cabal in government upgraded the salary structure, to appreciable and agreeable level to prevent any form of corruption in view of their hidden agenda to ‘privatize’ it. *In July 2004, ABB VETCO GRAY, a United States based company and its UK Subsidiary, AVG UK LTD, admitted to paying over 1million US dollars in bribes to officials at NNPC subsidiary, National Petroleum Investment and Management Services[NAPIMS], in exchange for obtaining confidential bid information and favourable recommendations from Nigerian Government agencies. *In 2008, WILLBROS GROUP INC., a US Company, admitted to making corrupt payments totalling over $6.3million US dollars to officials at the NNPC and its subsidiary, NAPIMS, in return for assistance in obtaining and retaining contracts for work on the Eastern Gas Gathering System [EGGS]. *In December 2011, the Federal Government, permitted, a forensic report conducted by KPMG, to be published. The audit, commissioned by Federal Ministry of Finance, following concerns over NNPC’S transparency, detailed sharp practices, violation of regulations, illegal deduction of funds belonging to the Nigerian State and failure to account for several billions of naira, that should go to the Federation Account. Auditors found that between 2007-2009 alone, NNPC over deducted funds in subsidy claims, to the tune of N28.5billion Naira and it has not been able to account for the sum ever since. *In November 2013, after a report was published by Transfigura and Vitol, a Swiss Non-Governmental Advocacy Organisation, captioned –The Berne Declaration- allegation of heavy fraud surfaced, placing the NNPC under suspicion of siphoning off $6.8billion US dollars, in oil revenues. On Tuesday December 17, 2013, the Senate and the Federal House of Representatives finally agreed on the crude oil bench mark price of $77.5, to be used as the basis for calculating the expected revenue for 2014 as against the Executive’s proposal of $73 US dollars. It is on record that international crude oil prices had remained at over $100 US dollars in the last six to seven years; why would Nigeria employ a lesser price as her benchmark? With all the chains of the cabal’s fraudulent engagements, it is crystal clear that their interest is in funding the illegal Excess Crude Account[ECA] and the Sovereign Wealth Fund[SWF], which have no ‘locus standi’ in the 1999 Constitution and which are being contested by all the 36 States, in court! From those two illegal accounts, the cabal can milk the country dry! They must not be allowed to discredit the NNPC and SELL IT! We expect Mr President to quickly address the threats issued by all Nigerian petroleum workers to embark on an indefinite strike action in the first week of January 2014, if government insists on privatizing the NNPC. This Godly-endowed black gold and its by-products are the only dividends of democracy that the citizens have earned with their blood and sweat! The protests that led to the untimely deaths of our brethren in January 2011, over Mr President’s unilateral price increase of petroleum products, is still very fresh in our memories. Enough is enough; NNPC belongs to all Nigerians, not to the cabal! King David’s neighbour had only one ewe lamb which he treated as his own child according to the Biblical records in 2Samuel, Chapters 11-20. The divine punishment against the Executive theft of the ewe lamb was devastating and very bloody to the kingly dynasty! The year of our Lord, 2014, is divinely designated for global spiritual transformation of all peoples and all races who would shun the carnal ‘rat race’ and honour God with exemplary life styles. We should not forget that, ‘naked, we came into this world, and naked, we shall return.’ Amen. [ A Publication of the Zion Faith Bible-Believing Church, Kpeyegyi, Abuja.] Vol.15. 24-11-13. MONEY AT ALL COSTS! Not long ago, a Nigerian housewife, domiciled in a satellite community of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), of Nigeria, was roasted in a dawn petrol inferno, inside her living room. A naked lamp ignited the plastic container of commercial fuel, stored at home, for customers! She was a member of the, ‘illegal small-scale industries of the premium motor spirit’, dotted across the nation. Statistics of such avoidable deaths are even higher during pipeline vandalism and subsequent petroleum scooping by Nigerians, who are ever ready to make money at all costs, even, at such high risks! Oil Bunkering, which means, illegal hiding/stealing of crude oil and its by- products by economic saboteurs, during exploration/exploitation, is as old as, ‘Oloibiri’, in Rivers State, where it was first discovered in commercial quantity, in January 1956. Although this economic crime is an act of sabotage, especially in a country like Nigeria, which still relies on mono-product, and we are aware that there are several legislations in place, to punish offenders, this crime escalates instead of abating because a sizable number of the population, who are end-time disciples of the ‘evil spirit of the love of money’, is involved in illegal macro and micro oil bunkering booming business! As the ’big players’, employ their surrogates to invade oil fields with highly sophisticated weapons and lift by force, as much quantity as they desired, the, ‘small players’, employ, their wives, children, (from, ages 6 and above), siblings and house helps, to also ‘invade’ the fuel stations and purchase in large quantities, for retail trading. On their part, the oil marketers, connive with the two groups and ensure that everybody is in business! There is virtually no part of the country, where the oil-bunkering business, is not thriving to keep the nation moving, even, when oil workers embark on nation-wide strikes. We must as a nation give all glory to GOD, who has graciously excluded Nigeria, from global disasters and calamities such as, landslides, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, typhoons, forest-fires; etc. Economic crime is also very prominent in the area of smuggling of all manner of goods, finished or raw, through the many porous routes along Nigeria’s borders with neighbouring countries. The Nigerian Customs Service, though, legislatively saddled to check smuggling across our borders, and is supported in this onerous task by The Nigeria Police, Nigeria Intelligence Agency(NIA), Special Secret Service(SSS), men and officers of the Armed Forces, yet, large-scale smuggling, is at its peak, not only of goods, but also of, arms and ammunitions of arsenal dimensions! There is also another economic crime classified as Money Laundering, which is, a procedure, by which the proceeds of illegal acts are converted into apparently legal activities, with a view to concealing their criminal origin. This crime involves, the transformation of illegal proceeds from hard drugs, arms deals, armed robberies, embezzlement of public funds, contract scams, etc, which are crimes against the State, and streamlining such proceeds or funds into the main stream of legitimate finance and genuine businesses, with a view to concealing the criminal sources and nature of such funds to make them appear ‘clean’, through the aid of communication technology! A recent legislation from the Central Bank of Nigeria, supported by the Money Laundering Act, stipulates that an individual must disclose the source of any lodgement above 1million Naira and a corporate body, 2million; but we are aware that these enemies of the State involved in economic crimes, have bigger vaults than the Central Bank, from where they disburse their illegal loots into the system, thereby creating serious inflation in the legitimate distribution of goods and services. It should not surprise our readers to learn that Nigerians are the key-players in all of the above-mentioned malpractices targeted at acquiring money at all costs! Some, in a maddening desperation, resort to, ‘getting what they want with what they have’; that is, going into prostitution with their bodies to make the money in a suicidal manner. It is on record that in the last 4years, Nigeria has lost 3.209 citizens to HIV/AIDS; but this shocking statistics, has not engendered any change of moral attitude in die-hard professional prostitutes! *Why are our fellow Nigerians so desperate to make money at all costs? *Why is there very little regard for the sanctity of life, even by those divinely endowed with such lives? *Why is there much clamour for ephemeral and carnal things by those who profess to be children of God? * Why do people easily forget that, no tiny bit of all worldly acquisitions would be buried with them at death? * Why would anyone in his/her right senses, die in a desperate bid to get rich? Open graves of our unfortunate brethren, who attempted, but, never got close to the money, are scattered all over the Sahara Desert, sea beds of the Atlantic, Pacific and the Indian Oceans including the deep dangerous jungles of Africa. Majority of those who smuggled themselves into overseas countries in search of greener pastures ultimately got imprisoned for possessing false immigration papers. In October 2013, the British Government repatriated, 267 out of 534 Nigerian prisoners to the country under a special arrangement, for them to complete their various terms at home. In other climes, Nigerian prisoners died under suspicious circumstances, while others were executed with no one to mourn them! We believe that no matter the poor state of the Nigerian economy, coupled with the poverty level ratio, the brazen impunity and display of ill-gotten riches by the few in position of authority, we can still collectively, by faith in God , salvage our dear nation from an imminent and self-induced economic collapse. Our weapon of warfare is our God-given sovereignty, through the ballot boxes during coming elections. We need not run away like cowards and shed our blood for unworthy causes and the heartless minority, whom we can overthrow with majority votes. We can compel the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC], to live up to its name by appointing credible officials from among the civil society pressure groups, to supervise all future elections. It is gratifying that INEC accepted responsibility for the flaws which characterised the recent and inconclusive Anambra Gubernatorial Elections. We must hold them to ransom when we make legitimate demands for future free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria. This amazing, divinely-endowed country, studded roundabout with abundant wealth and riches in agricultural products, crude oil and mineral resources, belong to all Nigerians and must be a blessing and not a curse! * Henceforth, no Nigerian should die in foreign countries as illegal immigrant. * All outward-bound prospectors in areas of commerce, education, tourism, technology, etc; should embark through the legitimate channels of emigration and make Nigeria proud while abroad. * Those of us who are home-based and are in the majority must fight for our inalienable fundamental human rights which include, social, economic and political, to drive out, with our votes those ‘lovers of money’, who are still in office, and establish good governance that will encourage our brethren in the diaspora to join our crusade of achieving the Vision 20-20-20. The quest for money must be pursued diligently and legitimately for it to be an asset and not a liability; for the Word of God says that, ‘Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth, adding that it is God who gives the ability to produce wealth.’ [Prov.10:4; Deut.8:18]. Money is biblically described as a defence or shelter and that it proffers answer to all things; but when it becomes an obsession, it is termed, ‘the root of all kinds of evil.’ Some people, desperate to possess money, have wandered from the faith and have pierced themselves with many griefs, as discussed earlier, while many are not even alive to narrate their awful ordeals to anyone! We are not unmindful of the fact that, not everyone believes in God’s providence or His expectation of diligence at work, but it is instructive to remind all of us that God will demand stewardship from all of His creation, whether poor or wealthy, in the long run. This treatise cannot end without the impartation of this Word of Wisdom, from the Throne of Grace; “Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.”[Mat.7:13-14]. Let us always walk by faith and not by sight, to remain relevant in the sight of our Creator. . ZION B-BC NEWSLETTER. [ A Publication of the Zion Faith Bible-Believing Church, Kpeyegyi, Abuja.] Vol.7. 29-09-13. Punishment Is Kept In Store For The Wicked! During the last week, some insurgents in Pakistan, invaded a church congregation and bombed about sixty-eight persons out of existence and without remorse posted the dastard act on internet. Similarly in Kenya, another group stormed a Shopping Mall and killed over three scores of people from different nationalities. All over the world similar heinous crimes are being committed on daily basis while it seems the villains are getting away! Let us encourage ourselves that no sinner will ever go unpunished. The Word of God says, “Don’t be misled; remember that you can’t ignore God and get away with it; a man will always reap just the kind of crop he sows! If he sows to please his own wrong desires, he will be planting seeds of evil and he will surely reap a harvest of spiritual decay and death; but if he plants the good things of the Spirit, he will reap the everlasting life which the Holy Spirit gives him.”[Gal.6:7-8; Living Bible, Paraphrased]. Is God too kind to punish sinners? No! “God is a judge who is perfectly fair and He is angry with the wicked every day. Unless they repent, He will sharpen his sword and slay them. He has bent and strung his bow and fitted it with deadly arrows made from shafts of fire. The wicked man conceives an evil plot, labours with its dark details, and brings to birth its treachery and lies; let him fall into his own trap. May the violence he plans for others boomerang upon himself; let him die.”[Ps.7:11-16; Living Bible]. Prophet Micah, in Chapter Six, verse 8, King James Bible, says,”….He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God?” No one is ignorant of sin. All have sinned and have come short of the glory of God; and definitely, the wages of sin is death. Each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire which conceived gives birth to sin, and when fully grown, results in death. Beloved, God is no respecter of persons; all those who have killed by swords, guns, bombs, arsons, gang rapes, murders, armed robberies etc. if not apprehended and punished on earth will not escape God’s ultimate judgment; for if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment, He will definitely not spare them! [2Pet. 2:4]. I have heard some people refute the second-coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the day of judgment, known in scripture as, ‘Day of Vengeance of the Lord’, vehemently in ignorance, but the truth is that, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”[2Pet.3:9-14; compare, 2Thess.1:6-10]. In other words, the al Quaeda, al Shabab, the Boko Haram terrorists and the Tuareg rebels of this world, according to God’s sovereign will, still have the opportunity of salvation provided they repent; but it is clear that many will not be saved! [Rev. 21:8]. The wicked people did not attain their evil status right from birth, but passed through a gradual process of ungodly parenting, peer group pressures, untenable government policies, coupled with mal-administration, deprivation of basic amenities of life, unemployment and the constant provocation, intimidation and subtle invitation to vanity, by the looters of the commonwealth, who flaunt ill-gotten riches and wealth with reckless abandon, in the society. Daily statistics of universal crimes and criminalities can be reduced to the barest minimum with the concerted efforts of all nations through the election of credible leaders who would harness the latent human capital resource of the youths, and channel them to positive ventures that would upgrade the sanctity of life and terminate restiveness. The army of unemployed youths, literate and illiterate, in any nation can be likened to a time-bomb waiting to be detonated. An adage states that, ‘an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’ To correct this dangerous trend of societal imbalance, all God-fearing and visionary elder citizens, are hereby challenged to train their wards and the youths in the way of the Lord and simultaneously demand for righteousness, uprightness probity and accountability at all levels of government activities as a starting point and handing over the entire issue into the hands of the Holy Spirit, who will take absolute control of this precarious situation. Amen. Please look forward to more divine revelation in the next episode of the Zion B-BC Newsletter. ZION B-BC NEWSLETTER. [ A Publication of the Zion Faith Bible-Believing Church, Kpeyegyi, Abuja] Vol.16. 01-12-13 WHO INHERITS NIGERIA? Nigeria had a land area of 923,768.00 square kilometres, before part of Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River State, was officially ceded to the Republic of Cameroon, on August 14, 2008. This country, Nigeria, is the one described in the Bible as, ‘a good land’ - a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills; a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey, a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing, a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. Nigeria is the only country we can collectively claim its ownership and are recognized as ‘bona-fide’ citizens. We and our progenitors of several generations past, were all born and bred here and we are very proud to belong to this vast nation, ‘flowing with milk and honey.’ At 53, we are qualified for the revered status of grandparent and should naturally behave as one, who is blessed with children, grand and great-grand children, to cater, nurture, guide, counsel into mature and God-fearing adults. But, this well-painted scenario is being sabotaged by some ungodly people who are piloting the affairs of this magnificent nation in an ungodly manner! There is no fear of God before their eyes, for, to them, ill-gotten wealth has given them the leverage to commit sins of embezzlement, avarice, illegal acquisition of properties, and perverting the course of justice with much relish. In the process, these evil people have impoverished the masses to a point where many have resorted to picking from garbage and rubbish dung before they can feed, while the children and wards, of these perverts, feed fat on the sweat and blood of the poor! Some time ago, twenty six (26) of the thirty-six (36) governors of this nation who were at one time accused by the head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, [EFCC], of having looted the ‘commonwealth’, on a large scale and have in the process crippled Nigeria’s economy, are yet to be prosecuted. Instead, these untouchable citizens are seated in the ‘hallowed chambers’ of the National Assembly and are also holding honourable positions in the present administration where they enact laws to govern the rest of us because they are ignorant of the true Biblical record of the Holy Ghost who exposed Ananias and Sapphira, the couple who stole from the ‘common pool’ in Acts 5:1- 10! Thank God! One of them is confessing! The Holy Ghost is at work and we have good news for the good people of this great nation. Recently, one of the Governors’ son was caught for money-laundering offence and the social media pointed accusing fingers to his Excellency, who came out boldly to declare that if he were alleged a ‘thief’, because his kid, ‘forgot’ to declare thousands of the United States dollars tucked away in his back pocket on his way out of the country, there were, smarter ‘daddy thieves’ than himself, in the presidency! The confessor is a man who has concrete evidence, he has his facts straight and is yet to be contradicted, because he was a founding father of the biggest party that should rule Nigeria for 100years and harness for themselves and families, all its milk and honey! These party men and women have forgotten that, ‘The earth is the LORD’S and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it…..’; and that all Deeds of Right are in His possession, because they are blinded to divine truths but very alive to the evil principle of ‘divide and rule’. Let it be known to all who are down-trodden, that they have the Creator of the universe as their Defender and our counsel therefore is that we all renew our efforts to trust the LORD and be patient for His judgment upon the wicked. The LORD says we should neither fret nor be envious of evil people who take delight in wrong-doings, for they are like the grass or the green plants of the fields; they will soon be cut off. Who will inherit the land or live on to enjoy the blessings of the LORD in this nation? Will the wicked who plot, scheme, default in promises and agreements, use raw power and ‘Zombie’ strategies to manipulate and intimidate to gain transitory advantages and thereby seem to flourish, have an upper hand? Fellow countrymen, please, trust absolutely in the LORD, delight yourself in Him and He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn and the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Amen. Those who hope in the LORD and trustfully look to Him to bestow life and its blessings as a gift will inherit the land of Nigeria; not those, who apart from God and by evil means, try to take possession of it and its wealth. A little while, and the wicked will be no more and though you look for them, they will not be found because, the LORD is raising a new crop of righteous men and women who will govern with divine wisdom and fulfil social contracts according to their covenants with the people. Those who wait on the LORD, who are humble, blameless, patriotic, generous upright and peaceable are God’s candidates for His new Nigeria. Change is imminent; and according to the late United States of America’s President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, “Change is the law of life, only those who look to the past or the future miss it.” The greatest possession to cherish is good character and we unequivocally call on all Nigerians to embrace this virtue which is the foundation for integrity in order to be relevant in a new Nigeria of our dreams, where no citizen is an outcast. We have a role model in the Lord Jesus Christ, “…One life”, according to Bishop Matthew Simpson, “ that can be held up before the eyes of humanity as a perfect pattern!” Jesus Christ is the epitome of integrity; His lips never uttered unkind words or untruths, He is very humble and accommodating to the poor and the needy, His hands are open to embrace, both the sinner and the righteous without discriminating, He never failed a promise but went about touching lives positively. He has an urgent message for Nigerians, saying. “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy-laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”[Matt.11:28-30]. Remain faithful to God from now on so that you can spend your eternity with Him and the Lord Jesus Christ.
