GAMBARI SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF BUHARI FAILS!

President Buhari’s appointed Chief of Staff Ibrahim Gambari may not be a new Sheriff in town nor a Brigade Commander but during his maiden press interview he threw a bombshell that has caused tongues wagging in respect of where his allegiance belonged – “I will be accountable only to the President”, he unequivocally and vehemently affirmed! It is evident that the professional globetrotter who was the Minister of External Affairs during the military tenure of Major General Buhari, (1983-1985), took a queue from his master who said during his first investiture as a democratic President, “I am for nobody and I am for everybody”! BUT, has the new CoS, an eminently qualified scholar, academic/diplomat not forgotten that if truly he is 100% loyal to the President who took the subscribed oath of Allegiance and the oath of office as prescribed in the Seventh Schedule of the 1999 Constitution, he would have no choice than to serve and be accountable to “WE THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA”!

PRESENTLY, PRESIDENT BUHARI HAS HIS PLATE FULL OF SEVERAL UNFULFILLED PROMISES WHICH GAMBARI MUST ADDRESS AND ADVICE RIGHTLY VERY QUICKLY!
Beginning from 2019, the President would take 1million persons out of poverty through gainful employment.
The Agrarian/Mineral Extraction Policy to secure a more sustainable economy and surer foreign exchange earnings outside of Crude Oil was to be intensified.
Education and Health Sectors, to be given more allocations and closer attention with a view to building the Human Capital and Stronger Institutions.
Insecurity of lives and properties through a further aggressive drive to eliminate the constant threat and menace of criminals, insurgents, terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, herdsmen/farmers bloody clashes, still remain a task to be fully accomplished.
Employment drive aimed at increasing the Armed Forces/Nigerian Police personnel, which had decimated and overstretched over the years is taking forever to accomplish and the morale of security operatives wane with fleeting moments!
The Labour Unions and the new National Minimum Wages which implementation began in some parts of the nation in January 2020, before global Covid-19 pandemic hit the Nigerian soil through the Lagos commercial city!
THE PERSISTENT ISOLATION/SHIELDING OF THE PRESIDENT FROM ENSURING REDRESS TO THE GENERALITY OF PEOPLE, ELECTORATE AND THE AGGRIEVED WHO HAVE AXE TO GRIND WITH HIS PAST ADMINISTRATION AS A MILITARY HEAD OF STATE AND PRESENTLY AS A DEMOCRAT!

GOING DOWN THE MEMORY LANE!
When he became military Head of State in December 1983, he made the following very crucial statements among several others:
When asked what gave him the greatest sorrow, Buhari said: “I honestly hate to see people suffering. Like crippled people..whose plight is not of their own making.....”
What about his future ambitions? He said: I hope by the time I leave office, I would have improved the lot of the ordinary man, the public service of Nigeria and Nigeria’s image in Africa and the world.

BUHARI COULD NOT SUCCOUR THE PEASANTS!
He could not fulfil those promises then due to a counter coup that suddenly deposed him from office within 23 months in office and now, at 78 years of age he is still unable to fulfil them! FIVE OUT OF EIGHT YEARS WITH CoS ABBA KYARI (whose tables/drawers/cabinets were filled with thousands of thousands of unattended petitions of aggrieved Nigerians who were sacked without proper Civil Service Procedure in 1983/84),IS GONE! AND NOW IN HIS REMAINING THREE YEARS WITH CoS IBRAHIM GAMBARI, WILL HE STILL REMEMBER AND REDRESS THE PETITIONERS? Time will tell!

THE PRESS IS CULPABLE IN THE UNNECESSARY ELEVATION OF A VERY OBSCURE OFFICE!
Why should so much attention be given by the Media to such a simple appointment such as that of a very personal assistant to the President? Informed Nigerians know that the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria made no provision for the office of the Chief of Staff (CoS), and neither compelled mandated nor forced a prerogative on the President to appoint one – so why the hullabaloo since the demise of the erstwhile occupant? It is a fact that the back-stage office exists globally in most political administrations and could be classified as a norm or convention, but limited to giving sound advice for good governance to his principal on whose table the “BUCK STOP!

GAMBARI’S DEBUT AS CoS AND CACOPHONY OF PUBLIC REACTIONS!
Prof. Gambari, like his predecessor neither went through the legislative rigours of interview nor took any oath of office, yet he will be unconstitutionally paid and up kept at this austere time of the down-turn of the economy due to Covid-19 global pandemic with the very scarce public funds! By the way, Grapevine told us that there was so much lobbying for the vacant post that the President was so inundated that he almost got confused! It was also revealed that he did not pick the new CoS from his ethnic constituency but from the FULANI CLAN of Kwara State, North Central Nigeria! Following the President in the order of precedence/protocol, are: Vice President, Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representative, Secretary to the Government, Head of Service of Federal Government, Cabinet Ministers etc, all of who are to assist the President to achieve smooth operations according to Section 148 (1)(2 a-c) of the 1999 Constitution!

BUT THE OFFICE OF CoS WAS ACCORDED UNDESERVED RECOGNITION BY INCUMBENT PRESIDENT!
Not much attention was given to the office of the Chief of Staff to the President until the advent of President Buhari who surrounded himself with his so-called loyalists, who later turned out to be “Achilles Foot”, as the infamous CABAL which almost destroyed Buhari’s colossal image of several decades because the last occupant late Alhaji Abba Kyari, was enjoyed the unofficial appellation of “de facto President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!”

Duties of the Chief of Staff includes but not limited to the following:
To efficiently manage communication between president and government.
Handle official programme and communication through key presidential staff.
Controlling the flow of people to the president’s office, manage flow of information and protect his interests.
Negotiate regularly with the National Assembly and other tiers of government to implement the president’s agenda.
Advising the president the president on various issues including telling him what the people do not want to hear, etc.

THE ERSTWHILE CoS loomed bigger than the Vice-President and other presidential assistants (including the National Security Adviser (NSA) and all SERVICE CHIEFS put together – he was all together VERY POWERFUL because President Buhari ORDERED that all Cabinet Ministers, Political/Economic Advisers, Security Chiefs and the NSA, MUST communicate with the CoS’s before approaching his office! In other climes the President’s Chief of Staff who was to be seen and not to be heard! Even in the United States, the CoS is classified as “gateman” of the number one citizen because without his approval, no one could approach his boss – except the Vice President who should enjoy free access!

The new 75-year-old CoS who will have to tackle the enormous task with much diligence must also quickly look into the dwindling economy vis-a-vis Nigeria’s assumed population of about 200 million in comparison to the following indexes recently released by USAID, Nigeria Bureau of Statistics (NBS), World Bank and the United Nations in respect of: 50% of extreme poverty,70% without safe drinking water and sanitation, 69% of urban residents who live in slum conditions, 49% of children under five with stunted or overweight growth, 23% of unemployed labour force and how urgent measures could be advanced to stem the situation! Professor Gambari, is no doubt more than qualified to effectively handle all of the above and more to ensure that the President’s agenda on all social infrastructures did not derail in view of the short period before 2023!

NIGERIA’S 2020 BUDGET REVIEW- HOW EFFECTIVE?
The Federal Government has reduced the 2020 Budget spending by over N320 billion and the new figure of N10.27 now replaces the initial NASS approved, N10.59, in view of the adverse effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the global economy!
However this new projection cannot hold in view of the lowest ever international crude oil price which at 17th May, 2020, placed Brent at USD 32.50, WTI Crude at $29.43, and Natural Gas at $1.646 dollars respectively, while foreign exchange rate was pegged at N306 naira to USD$I.00 dollar!
The pruning touched all segments of the Budget – Capital/Recurrent because of the sharp drop in national revenue and fiscal deficit of N4.43 trillion naira, will now be financed through local borrowing. The initial budget allocated 4.5% for health, less than the 15% target the African Union (AU), had set for governments in 2001% and for Education N575.31billion far, far, less than 26% of total Budget sum as recommended by UNESCO since 1999, but now with the turn of global events, the 2020 Budget will have to depend on all local resources including all recovered loots from late General Sanni Abacha all donations from well-meaning Nigerians!
The ripple effects of Covid-19 pandemic could turn out to be a blessing in disguise to miraculously turn Nigeria’s economy around through prudent management with all hands on deck! We believe that CoS Gambari, may be the BALM OF GILEAD THAT NIGERIA HAS WAITED FOR, FOR SO LONG!

‘TIS TIME TO DISBAND THE NASS 469 MEMBER-GANG!

Nigeria has never been bereft of political dramatis personae who, because of constitutional advantage believe they can dictate or force their whims and caprices with regards to socio-economic issues on the masses as they so desired with much impunity!
Nigeria’s House of Representatives (HOR), still relishes in being at the centre of all controversies that relate to arrogation of non-existent powers/oversight functions outside of the constitution, high-handedness in vetting of the annual appropriation documents, assumption of lawful rights to all pecks of office through unscrupulous claims to all manner of crazy allowances, not excluding direct execution of “dubious constituency projects” through which huge sums of monies were siphoned from the common patrimony!

Abdulmumin Jibril’s open confessions.] These bunch of pseudo servants of the masses, and their SENATE collaborators who should be at the frontline of the onslaught against Covid-19 pandemic preferred to cruise streets of the Federal Capital City with their BRAND NEW CAMRY Limos and their Jeeps (SUVs), instead of synergizing with their various constituencies to proffer ideas/workable solutions!

BEFORE LEGISLATORS WENT ON A FIVE WEEKS OF RECESS FROM MARCH TO APRIL 2020 OVER THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC;
They paid a whopping sum of N55 billion for their foreign luxurious vehicles and collected them on spite of a threatened economy!
They approved N37billion naira for the “RENOVATION” OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY COMPLEX!
They also approved a foreign loan of USD$22.7 dollars for the President to execute “fresh” critical infrastructures in spite of the Economic Advisory Council’s (EAC), opposition!
They do not care about Nigeria’s debt profile accumulation which in five years (2015-2019), stood at about N8Trillion naira which must be continually serviced!

AND when they suddenly re-surfaced at plenary on 28th April, 2020, without bringing solutions BUT MORE CONFUSION to the table through the introduction of a 51-worded long-titled Bill christened “Control of Infectious Disease Control Bill 2020: A Bill For An Act to Repeal the Quarantine Act and Enact the Control of Infectious Disease Act, Make Provisions Relating to Quarantine and Make Regulations for Preventing the Introduction into and Spread in Nigeria of Dangerous Infectious Diseases and for Other Related Matters”, sponsored by the Speaker and TWO other Representatives! Who says that these ubiquitous gang of manipulators don’t deserve the attention of the Guinness Book of Records?

This re-introduced/cantankerous Bill had been in existence as QUARANTINE ACT of 2004 without the offensive draconian clauses and the fresh attempt by them was only a ploy to divert the attention of frustrated Nigerians from pressing challenge of the lockdown to feign that they cared whereas they cared less!
Provisions of the extant Quarantine Act have proved adequate to meet with past exigencies because the Director General of the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), had performed creditably well with neither hitches nor confrontation with Heads of CDCs across the 36 States of the federation!

DOES THE NATIONAL/GLOBAL HEALTH CRISIS NEED DIVERSIONARY TACTICS OF THIS NATURE?
We are not aware that NCDC as the institution in charge of dealing with all manner of health Issues in Nigeria according to the various provisions of the Quarantine Act 2004; complained of any inadequacies to the NASS , but it is yet to be verified the motive and the rush for the said Bill to have passed through the first and second reading in one day, and passed to the Committee of the whole House – an action which caused immediate public resistance and uproar because it was initially intended to skip PUBLIC HEARING!
From all indications however, it is very glaring that the move was a definite cover up for their failure to neither add any value to Covid-19 health crisis nor provide any form of contribution during hibernation in RECESS!
SOME PORTIONS OF THE OFFENSIVE/NAUSEATING BILL THAT INFRINGES ON CITIZENS’ RIGHTS! The proposed bill intends to empower NCDC Director General (DG), like the “Commander-In-Chief” of the Health Sector with absolute authority and powers that are ultra vires to fundamental rights of Nigerians as follows:
For instance, the DG “may require any person who is, or is suspected to be, a case or carrier or contact of an infectious disease to SUBMIT to a medical examination or medical treatment within or at such time, and at such place, as the DG may determine”.
“The DG may order any person who is, or is suspected to be, a case or carrier or contact of an infectious disease to be detained and isolated in a hospital or other place for such a period of time and subject to such conditions as the DG may determine.”
In an outbreak or a suspected outbreak of any infectious disease in any area in Nigeria, the DG may by order direct any person or class of persons not protected or vaccinated against the disease to undergo vaccination or other prophylaxis within such period as may be specified in the order” barring any contrary directive from the Minister of Health.
Opponents of the Bill within and outside of NASS believe that those offensive clauses were some form death sentence orchestrated by the Western World and their RACIST AGENCIES! Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), alleged lawmakers in the House of Representatives (HOR) were offered USD$10 MILLION for the speedy passage of the Vaccination Bill by the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates; AND they have threatened to take legal action against to body!

FORMER DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT ALSO OPPOSED BILL
Senator Ike Ekeremadu, opposed the obnoxious Bill as it went through first reading at the Red Chambers and insisted that the content of the bill must be made open before subjecting it to further legislative consideration as the Senate should not go the way of HOR.

[LETTER TO PATRIOTIC NIGERIANS]
NIGERIAN SENATE MUST BE SCRAPPED BEFORE 2023!
There can be no better time for national introspection for Nigerians to achieve political emancipation, than this period of compulsory lock down due to Covid-19 pandemic, and break the yoke of mercenaries in government, offs their necks through a collective decision to sack them from office!
We still maintain our advocacy that the National Assembly (NASS), is the MAJOR DRAIN PIPE OF THE NIGERIAN ECONOMY and has outlived its “usefulness”! In this age of technology the HOR requires only 74 members ie: Two Reps. from each State of the Federation and the FCT, on part time basis – and with civil servants attached to their Secretariat for quick delivery and efficiency!
****With SENATE scrapped and all other wastages blocked in the THREE TIERS, a conservative estimate of saved funds could amount to over ONE TRILLION NAIRA which can be ploughed in AGRICULTURE for every interested Nigerian to engage in modern farming, become gainfully employed and feed the nation!
THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC HAS EXPOSED POVERTY TO ITS ROOT AND ONLY THIS SUGGESTED DRASTIC MEASURE WOULD UPROOT IT! WE MUST IN ONE ACCORD THROUGH A REFERENDUM, DRIVE THOSE TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT (TSA), SUCKERS OUT OF THE SYSTEM!
NO POLITICAL OR MILITARY ADMINISTRATION EVER CARED FOR THE POOR MASSES!
FROM 1960 TO DATE: Catalogue of events have thrown up the following facts: *Politicians only love themselves; beginning with successive Presidents, their Cabinet of ministers, advisers, political appointees; *Legislators who claim to be Representatives of the masses, have been exposed to be liars, deceivers, manipulators and conmen/women; THE CIVIL SERVANTS: They turned out to be the citizens’ nightmare because, without their succinct support and connivance, monies would not grow wings out of the Treasury Single Account (TSA)!
AT THE STATE LEVEL: Governors live larger than life! There were very few first timer among them... it was either that they had served as legislators for between 8 – 16 years or as Federal Ministers, Chairmen of Boards of Ministries, Departments or Agencies (MDAs), Parastatals etc, etc!
LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMEN at the grassroots level were equally at par with State Governors with whom they share various Federation Accounts Allocations which accrued to LGAs on percentage proportions!
SHOW ME A PRESIDENT OR GOVERNOR THAT HAS EVER LOVED NIGERIANS! WHAT OF MUHAMMADU BUHARI? Is he no longer the CHAMPION OF THE TALAKAWAS? He wanted to show love, but Grapevine says that the CABAL won’t allow him? What is cabal... who is cabal in the Presidency? Who will I ask?
IS IT TRUE THAT ABOUT 85 MILLION NIGERIANS ARE POOR –according to NBS figures? God forbid!
****WE challenge President Buhari to accomplish all of the above TASKS within the next THREE YEARS and write his name in GOLD! “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.’’(Prov 22:29).

STATES CAN NOW BE AUTONOMOUS – THANKS TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC!

There is no gainsaying that Covid-19 pandemic is bad Omen! Its reckless global spread of trail of tears, woes, pains, anguish, calamities and scores of painful deaths for over four months in more than 202 countries, are beyond human comprehension!
But in all of that, Nigeria’s 36 States have been favoured to gain total autonomy through the pandemic centrifugal force which has moved them away from the Federal Government’s overbearing autocratic tendencies of pseudo presidential system! The States did not wait for handouts to address the parasitic outbreak but synergized their teams of highly efficient health and security workers to promptly isolate infected carriers, trace their contacts and sealed of all entry points, closed land borders and declared state of emergency on the notorious plague !
LAGOS, the metropolitan city and commercial capital of Nigeria as our case study was at “red alert” from the moment rumours of escalating spread of the pandemic from China to Europe and the United States, filtered into Nigeria, late January, 2020, and wasted no effort in intensifying health/sanitation checks at all ports (air, land and sea), to detect the health status of all migrants to Nigeria! Health/security personnel including volunteers from CSO/MDAs, were fully mobilised to intervene and bring their professional expertise to bear on the looming disaster even before Federal Government relevant agencies could muster any move! The same boldness and determination to save the masses was replicated by all States of the Federation to ensure that the nation was not filled with parasitic virus casualties of uncontrollable proportion!

It is on record that all governors dug into the coffers of their governments to equip the Police, Armed Forces, all para-military groups with necessary scientific gears - ventilators, fumigators, mobile disinfectant equipments, Personal Protective Equipments [PPEs], face masks, automobiles, trucks, ambulances, boats, modern communication equipments, etc, without rushing to Abuja with “feeding bottles” to collect STIPENDS when the matter on hand was of life or death nature!

ALTHOUGH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EVENTUALLY WOKE UP TO ITS RESPONSIBILITIES – STATES ALREADY WON THE DAY!
All security agencies, the Nigerian Police, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force, Nigerian Navy, the Civilian JTF, the para-military Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), worked in synergy and in cooperation with State Governors without reverting to the Inspector General or the Chief of Defence Staff for any “ORDER FROM ABOVE”, in such emergency situations which commanded uttermost urgency! Luckily for all States, their Internally Generated Revenues (IGRs), and exclusive SECURITY VOTES of Governors could no longer be hidden from the people but released to support urgent health issues of all the afflicted victims of the Covid-19 pandemic in their domain!
In RIVERS STATE, two private aviation pilots and some senior international oil workers who flew into the State on Federal Government assignment but without official State clearance were promptly arrested by both Police and Military operatives on the orders of the State Governor, detained and arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction until diplomatic channels were opened to amicably resolve the very sensitive matter!

IT IS NOW MORE URGENT FOR PRESIDENT BUHARI TO BEGIN CONSTITUTIONAL PROCESSES THAT WOULD ESTABLISH DEVOLUTION OF POWERS FROM THE EXCLUSIVE LEGISLATIVE LIST TO THE CONCURRENT, FISCAL FEDERALISM AND REVENUE ALLOCATION, ESTABLISHMENT OF STATE POLICE, RESOURCE CONTROL OF MINERAL EXTRACTION, DERIVATION PRINCIPLE, INDEPENDENT CANDIDACY AND REFERENDUM, ETC, WHICH ARE CONTAINED IN GOVERNOR EL RUFAI COMMITTEE ON RESTRUCTURING OF THE FEDERATION, SHOULD COMMENCE FROM POST-COVID-19 ERA WITHOUT DELAY!

Contrary to political pundit misgivings that State Governors would abuse their authority and exclusive control over security agency such as the Police, We believe to the contrary that the BRAND NEW CONSTITUTION of our advocacy would provide for checks and balances that would present any such abuse of power!

A CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY MUST BE SET UP NOW TO DRAFT A NEW CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA!

EL RUFAI COMMITTEE ALSO RECOMMENDED REFERENDUM AS ALTERNATIVE TO POLITICAL DEBATES: The need for referendum to decide serious national issues is very key to all recommendations mentioned earlier can neither be sidelined nor dismissed if the desired masses-oriented result would been accomplished! Constitutional amendments have failed to see the light of the day and as such is completely ruled out for Buhari to achieve his goals to leave behind, sterling legacies that would cast his name in gold after his exit in 2023!

NCDC AS THE ENGINE ROOM OF SYNERGY BETWEEN FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS!
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), had been up and doing since March and have sent professional teams to assist the States Medical and Security outfits, especially in the areas of enforcement of law and order on social/physical distancing, overcrowding in vehicles, market places, shopping malls, churches, mosques, including the establishment of Presidential Task Force Mobile Courts, following a Federal Government’s total lock down on all commercial activities in Lagos, Ogun and FCT Abuja, from 30th March, 2020 to Monday, 4th May, 2020, when some PHASES of gradual relaxation for economic activities to pick up, would commence!
The Federal Government has forwarded monetary donations to some States and encouraged patriotic citizens/organisations to equally support with finances, medical supplies, goods and services even as attention is being focussed on KANO STATE, another cosmopolitan city and economic and commercial nerve centre in North West, Nigeria where mysterious deaths have been on the increase outside of coronavirus pandemic!
AS AT SATURDAY, 2ND MAY, 2020, COVID-19 PANDEMIC CASUALTY FIGURES IN NIGERIA STOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Confirmed cases: 2,388. Deaths: 85. Recovered: 385.
CASES OF COVID-19 ACROSS THE WORLD.

COVID-19 PANDEMIC FAVOURS BUHARI TO KILL CORRUPTION, POVERTY AND INSECURITY IN NIGERIA!

Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index report over the years had ranked Nigeria very low in respect of overall performances of government from parliamentary to military and presidency in spite of disagreements and condemnation by consecutive administrations!

The country was ranked 146th in January 2019, having slipped from 144th position in 2018, with 26 points out of 180 countries according to the anti-corruption outfit and out of 49 West African sub region Nigeria was ranked 32, higher than only Guinea Bissau which scored 18! These reports have not deterred the efforts of the nation’s anti-corruption agency, EFCC, which in 2019 alone recovered over N200 billion from fraudsters and got 890 convictions at the courts between January to October! The Commission also recorded 114 convictions in 2015, 189 in 2016, 190 in 2017, 312 in 2018 and according to government sources the war against corruption would be fiercer in 2020 and beyond in spite of the negativities foisted on global economy through the Covid-19 pandemic!

VISION 20:2020 MUST BE INTENSIFIED TO ADVANTAGE!
President Buhari had said in a LETTER to Nigerians that the year 2020 would witness gradual implementation of strengthening the electoral process, win battle against violent extremists, cultists, organized criminal networks, banditry/armed robbery and kidnappings with a view to restoring peace to the North East and by extension to other geo-political zones including aggressive power generation to address ease-of-doing-business across board in transportation, second Niger bridge, Lagos –Ibadan Express Way, Abuja –Kano Highway, Lagos-Kano Rail Line in collaboration with private sector partners; not leaving out new international airport terminals in Kano and Lagos in this new year to impact business operations which fiscal feasibility/sustainability, would attract both government and private sector investments.

Year 2020 will also witness opportunities in agriculture, manufacturing, increased value from oil and gas which will operate on commercial principles and free from political interference in order to deliver a more competitive, attractive and profitable industry.

THE LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS AS AN ADDITIONAL ECONOMIC RESOURCE!
The President in Council, late December, 2019, approved a fair framework for the USD 10 billion expansion of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas, which will increase exports by 35%, restore Nigeria’s position as a world leader in the sector and create thousands of jobs for the nation’s jobless youths! There was also the amendment of the Deep Offshore Act of October 2019 which signalled the nation’s intention to create a modern forward-looking industry in Nigeria. The President believes that vibrant youth population would also play vital role to accelerate the pace of change in technology in the decade ahead in a way that it would benefit the nation through the huge opportunities it offers. He also re-stated his 2019 Democracy Day promise to lay the enduring foundations to take a hundred million Nigerians out of mass poverty over the next ten years through reforms in education, health care and water sanitation through the support of international donor agencies who would work with States and Local Governments to ensure continuity. Workers are to enjoy living wages while pensioners will be relieved through clearance of arrears and benefits that have been long neglected adding that implementation of the approved 2020 Budget would take off seamlessly and commended the 9th National Assembly (NASS) for their co-operation with the Executive in restoring the January to December Budget cycle to ensure the Nigerian Decade of prosperity etc, etc.

SOME PROJECTS TO RECEIVE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION IN 2020! HOW WILL THESE LOFTY IDEAS BE EXECUTED IN VIEW OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND A THREATENING GLOBAL RECESSION?
47 road projects scheduled for completion in 2020/2021, including roads leading to ports.
Major bridges including substantial work on the Second Niger Bridge;
Completion of 13 housing estates under the National Housing Project Plan.
Lagos, Kano, Maiduguri and Enugu international airports to be commissioned in 2020.
Launching of an agricultural rural mechanisation scheme that will cover 700 Local Governments over a period of three years;
Launching of Livestock Development Project Grazing Model in Gombe State where 200,000 hectares of land has been identified;
Training of 50,000 workers to complement the country’s 7,000 extension workers;
Commissioning of the Lagos-Ibadan and Itakpe-Warri rail lines in the first quarter;
Commencement of the Ibadan – Abuja and Kano-Kaduna rail lines also in the first quarter;
Further liberalisation of the Power Sector to allow businesses to generate and sell power;
Commencement of the construction of the Mambilla Power project by the first half of 2020; and
Commencement of the construction of the AKK gas pipeline, OB3 gas pipeline and the expansion of the Escravos - Lagos pipeline in the first quarter of 2020.

OSINBAJO’S POST-COVID-19 ECONOMIC COMMITTEE TO THE RESCUE!
The Vice President, Professor ‘Yemi Osinbajo has been appointed by President Buhari to head a seven-man team to tackle any form of post-covid-19, pandemic negativity that could in any way produce debilitating effects on the economy. The VP is ably supported by Ministers of Finance, Budget, and Planning; Industry Trade and Investment; Labour and Employment, Minister of State Petroleum Resources; Governor, Central Bank; Group Managing Director NNPC and Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat who serves as Secretary to the Committee. Osinbajo and his team will manage the economy in spite of the dwindling international crude oil price (which is still under USD$30 dollars), in a most transparent manner during this trying period of global affliction that has shut down major businesses, air, land and sea ports and also the post-pandemic period, to ensure all economic programmes were on course by judiciously spreading limited incomes/resources/donations, to cover all areas and also make lock-down palliatives available to all the designated people.

DID THE WORLD ENVISAGE A NOVEL PARASITIC PANDEMIC IN YEAR 2020?
President Buhari and his economic team should be given necessary support by all patriotic Nigerians to actualize his lofty programmes by shunning all forms of negative/antagonistic diversionary tendencies; not sponsoring or encouraging crimes, through criminal connivance, which are vices against sustainable economic growth, just because they are sworn enemies of progress!

TRUE GLOBALIZATION SHOULD DEFEAT THE PANDEMIC!
Very fortunately, World Leaders have stopped blame games over the debutant country of Covic-19 pandemic and have united to close ranks, produce effective/speedy antidotes to counter the novel health challenge which has evolved into an economic crisis heading towards an unprecedented global recession! The World Health Organization (WHO), has reported on its website that Heads of State and global health leaders on Friday, 24th April, 2020, decided to accelerate the development and production of new vaccines, tests and treatments to confront the pandemic, which has already affected more than 2.4million people and killed over 160,000 humans globally in its rage and put a permanent stop to the scourge! The general consensus was that while existing measures to keep people physically distanced, to test and track all contacts of people who test positive to the virus parasites remained in operation, outcome of global scientific research for effective cure from new vaccines which began since January, 2020, and the successes achieved, should benefit everybody through equitable access worldwide.

GOOD NEWS OF ACCELERATED CURE!
The global health institution also revealed the introduction of prequalified diagnostics being presently used all over the world with more in the pipeline through coordination of a global trial to assess the safety and efficacy of four therapeutics against the Covic-19, with a view to speeding up and harmonizing processes to ensure that once the products were deemed safe and effective, they would be accessible to billions of people who need them across the world!

NIGERIA JOINS GLOBAL GROUND-BREAKING COLLABORATION TO STOP COVID-19!
The Federal Government has lend its weight to global health leaders from the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness(CEPI), GAVI-the Vaccine Alliance, the Global Fund, UNITAID, the Wellcome Trust, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (IFRC), the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (IFPMA), the Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers’ Network (DCVMN), and the International Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association (IGBA), who are committed to come together, guided by a common vision of a planet protected from human suffering and the devastating social and economic consequences of Covid-19! Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, now a UN Special Envoy and GAVI Board Chair, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, is representing the nation among these eminent concerned world figures who would stop at nothing until Covid-19 is completely, exterminated! Also on that team is another Special Envoy in the person of Sir Andrew Witty, British business executive. They have all pledged and agreed to work towards equitable global access based on unprecedented level of partnership and create a “strong unified voice to build on past experience and to be accountable to the world and to one another”. In support of the group, health leaders equally solicited that the global community and political leaders should support the landmark collaboration and that donors should provide the necessary resources to accelerate achievement of their objectives by capitalizing on a forthcoming PLEDGING EVENT of 4th May, 2020, spearheaded by the European Union (EU), aimed at mobilizing significant resources needed to accelerate the work towards protecting the world from Covid-19! AFRICA AND CHINA WILL EMERGE AS POST-CORONAVIRUS WORLD POWERS - YES!

Identical historical antecedents of the past rather than an expansionist ideology may be responsible for the very passionate Chinese economic intervention in Black Africa (especially Nigeria), at the turn of the new Century because China recognises the great potentials of the former Dark Continent which if well harnessed could lift its people out of poverty and foreign aggression in all forms forever!

China did not occupy the number TWO position as the next world power after America, in economic, military, nuclear and rocket science achievements on a platter of gold but through dint of hard work, determination, resilience and rugged faith to accomplish the seemingly impossible! The East Asia nation suffered 4,000 years of imperial rule from 1644-1912, at the hands of the Qing or Manchu dynasty and endured many trials and tribulations being dominated by desperate warlord generals and foreign powers!
AFRICA experienced similar devastation in the hands of foreign powers that colonized all of its territories except for ETHIOPIA AND LIBERIA; but it is gratifying that at the turn of the 21st Century, all the 53 Countries of the AFRICAN UNION (AU), are independent and sovereign states!

NEW AFRICA OF THE 21ST CENTURY!
The 21st Century stampede by World Powers for the abundant natural resources massively studded in the belly of Africa is reminiscent of the MAD GOLD RUSH of 19th Century which swept through Continents of Australia/United States; New Zealand, Brasil, Canada and South Africa!
In the 15th Century, before World War I, the civilized World powers described Africa as a DARK CONTINENT, because little was known of its interior as British and Portuguese seamen and explorers only established trading ports around the coastal areas especially of the Cape of Good Hope, in South Africa!

Now in the 21st Century, swarms of expatriate geologists, economists, industrialists, engineers, scientists, technologists, information communication experts, technocrats, portfolio investors etc, are clustered in the 53 African nations determined (this time around), to "legitimately" explore, exploit and harness the immense mineral resources including CRUDE OIL, and all economic opportunities available within the bowels of black continent!

Of the Seven geographic global continents, AFRICA, is the most divinely-blessed with the greatest number of natural resources and also the most-endowed with friendly climatic condition, predictable weather and virtually devoid from all ecological calamities/disasters that beset Asia, Europe, United States like, devastating landslides, earthquakes, storms, tornadoes, tsunamis; massive forest fires, etc, constitute regular affront to safety of lives and properties in those continents! Therefore, the alien invasion/aggressive occupation from Cape to Cairo; Freetown to Addis Ababa; DR Congo to Libya, etc, by G8, G7 and EU entrepreneurs, including the United States, the Asian Tigers (China, Japan, Koreans etc,), But from all indications and researches, CHINA’S ECONOMIC invasion was the only genuine because it was a deliberate plan by the ancient East Asian nation to both emancipate Africans from colonial stupor and teach them how to fight and defeat poverty! They are all over Africa to revive its ailing infrastructures the Power, Roads, Railways, Transportation, Airports/Seaports, Education/Health sectors; etc, etc,

The founding fathers of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), in 1912, embraced Communism ideology which recognises a system in which all property is common patrimony and everyone contributes and receives according to their ability and needs in order to disabuse poverty having fought and won a bitter war of Xinhai Revolution which ended 4,000 of imperial rule and overthrew the last imperial Qing dynasty which was too weak to resist and fend off foreign invasions! China with a population of over 1.5billion and a land mass of 9,597,km2 had since progressed from communism ideology to trend socialism (an economic philosophy which encourages public ownership of acquiring wealth), and the People’s Republic can now boast of more billionaires than any other country of the 21st Century universe and it has been proven that China has no expansionist agenda in Africa! China lifted 740 million of its citizens from poverty between 1978-2017, an unprecedented feat yet to be matched by the United States!

ARE WHITE RACIST GENUINELY CONCERNED ABOUT AFRICAN WELFARE?
Whose testimony shall we believe? International Monetary Fund/World Bank are crying wolf over the economy of Africa which they believe would “shrink” by 1.25% in 2020, if rapid international action was not harnessed to respond to the coronavirus pandemic which in fact was ravaging and claiming higher casualties in other climes of the world than the African Continent; OR MELINDA GATES, who says that “dead bodies” would soon line up African Streets, because of the existence of too many SLUMS and lack of TESTING KITS to check the pandemic; OR GOD’S TESTIMONY which says AFRICA AND CHINA ARE THE NEW GLOBAL ECONOMIC BLOCS AND COMMERCIAL DESTINATIONS IN POST-CORONAVIRUS ERA?

As at Saturday 17th April, 2020, 158,884 people globally have lost their lives to the pandemic, 591,107 recovered, out of more than 2,308,220 million cases reported to World Health Organisation (WHO), since the outbreak. Also in that week, there has been a 51% increase in number of reported cases and 60% increase in reported deaths according to WHO sources.
TOTAL DEATHS – USA:38,244, Italy:23,227, Spain:20,043, France:19,323, UK:15,464, China:4,632, Germany: 4,426,Iran:5,031, Belgium:5,453; these are the highest figures around the globe!

LIFE IS GETTING BACK TO NORMAL IN CHINA!
The good news is that China where the coronavirus started is gradually getting out of the pandemic, into fresh sanitary life and has stretched its hands of support, ESPECIALLY TO AFRICA, and to all other countries for assistance to overcome the pandemic as they have successfully done so far with available VACCINES within its reach! It is important to note that CHINA IS DETERMINED TO MAKE AFRICA ITS CENTRE OF ACTIVITY because 17 Chinese Medical personnel are already on quarantine in Nigeria and would move into action in the next few days while top-notch doctors would follow suit towards the end of April 2020, to fully support Nigerian medical team, health workers, doctors etc, to stamp out remnants of the viruses in no time! The Chinese Government appreciates Nigeria not only the giant of Africa but also as the country with the highest Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and with greater commercial potentials above others and was determined to partner the nation to greater heights far above the imagination of its greatest rival, the United States of America which is always looking down on Nigeria and Africa as very backward entities among the comity of nations!

RETROGRESSIVE ACTION OF THE UNITED STATES!
The US did not waste time to quickly evacuate its citizens out of Nigeria in spite of the low impact of the pandemic on the nation and in spite of the fact Nigerian scientists HAVE DISCOVERED POTENT IMMUNE DRUGS THAT ARE ALREADY IN USE TO ENSURE QUICKER RECOVERY OF QUARANTINE CASES!
And Nigeria’s statistical update as at Saturday 18th April, 2020: Confirmed cases: 493, Deaths: 17, Recovered:159.

CHINA IS THE ONLY WORLD POWER THAT LOVES AFRICA!
But, African Countries have not been idle in scientific innovations and ideas as medical professors are perfecting existing vaccines while working hard and developing new ones to combat the novel virus.
From all indications, the Western nations of the world have decided to keep the “mote in their eyes” while trying to remove same from Africa: they have the highest figures of casualties and would not stop to castigate Africans for their slums and wishing that the whole population would just perish with the pandemic once and for all!

THEY ARE THE DANGEROUS SPECIES OF WHITE RACISTS!
Racism is a subtle act of terrorism against inalienable fundamental human rights through deliberate intimidation, hatred, prejudice or antagonism against others by those who felt superior through ignorance, myopic understanding or down-playing of sterling qualities, characteristics, and abilities of contemporary races!

Racism is cancer that spreads deadly viruses from one generation to another and creates uproar when casualties were recorded! Racism is evil, it is sin! Global racism had been in existence from time immemorial most especially between the whites and the blacks and virtually every activity of man is smeared by its venom! Apartheid was the South Africa’s terminology for racism, through which successive white-dominated administrations segregated and discriminated against the black majority population on grounds of race and colour between 1948 and 1994, before Nelson Mandela won elections as the first black President!
Adolf Hitler’s Nazi regime in Germany killed more than 6 million Jews during World War II, for reasons of racism; the United States, in spite of dubious claim of the inalienable rights of its citizens, black or white, had not seized to discriminate against the blacks at every given opportunity and President Donald Trump has never hidden his penchant for WHITE SUPREMACY IN AMERICA, by reversing all of the accomplished policies/legacies bequeathed to him by the very first BLACK AMERICAN PRESIDENT, BARAK OBAMA!

TECHNOLOGY WAS HELPLESS IN THE FACE OF CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC! CAN MAN TAKE THE PLACE OF GOD?
[Easter 2020 Edition]

Science and technology is not the creation of Man but of God! However, the pompous creation had, since the time of Tubal-Cain, attributed/apportioned/credited to himself the knowledge to discover, explore and invent not only his immediate environment but the unknown outer space far, far away from his reach!

Tubal-Cain was the son of Lamech who was a metal smith and the discoverer of cold forging of native copper and meteoric iron in Genesis.4:22. The inordinate adventure of man had brought nothing but an avalanche of untold disasters, calamities, diseases, pestilences, two World Wars and now a deadly, pandemic and invisible Coronavirus coded Covid-19, upon the existing Earth and scientists could not evacuate world population to the Moon or another planet to save its people!

Since creation, man was obsessed, deluded and desperate to be famous and had been persistent in exploring the unknown massive space above the firmament to the detriment of his immediate environment which had and is still suffering self-inflicted adversities of disease-ridden population gradually decimated in squalor due to environmental degradation, pollution, destruction of farm lands through mineral exploration/exploitation, incessant gas flaring, depletion of the Ozone layer, forest fires, desert encroachment etc, etc.

When the post-dilluvian people who survived the flood which destroyed the ambitious but very disobedient/sinful world of Adam/Eve and their unrepentant generation should have engaged in constructing and commissioning a new world, they embarked on an adventure to build a Tower that would reach Heaven from the Earth, and possibly dwell with God to avoid being scattered abroad to fulfil their mandate! (Genesis. 11:1-9).

The divine mandate to man was to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, take dominion and subdue the Earth, not the exploration of the firmament above the earth for other planets – most especially the Moon which scientists were disillusioned to have discovered for the first time in 1969!

In the Garden of Eden, the Serpent told Mrs. Eve Adam that if the couple ate the forbidden fruit, their eyes would open and they would be like God to discern good from evil (Genesis. 3: 5 ), and it is glaring that that manipulation has been largely responsible for man’s adventurous nature which has gotten out of hand!

ACCOUNT OF TWO GREAT LIGHTS IN CREATION! [Genesis. 1:14-19]
14. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18. And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
From this biblical narrative and from scientific observations, it is crystal clear that God deliberately restricted man to take care of the earth while He oversees all things as the sovereign creator from heaven above. But the meddlesome interloper would not mind his business and has in the process invaded the hornet’s nest and world inhabitants are the worst for it! ‘’Heaven is my Throne and the Earth is my footstool’’. (Acts 7:49).

Could obsession through presumptuous rocket science space exploration/adventures, speedy internet communications of android/i-phones, tablets, laptops, virtual interface on the electronic media, automobile/aircraft manufacturing and other hi-definition technologies turn Man to the GOD of Heaven?

HAS MAN EVER LANDED ON THE MOON?
“The secret things belong unto the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” (Deuteronomy.29:29). The fact that the world has become a global village through technology does not give man the effrontery to lay claims of divine knowledge in the exploration of the unknown firmament above the Earth through ROCKET SCIENCE!

The Heaven still remain a SECRET and MYSTERY of God and Him alone! When the tormented “rich man” in hell fire had a glimpse of the beauty and serenity of God’s paradise, he requested to go back to the earth to evangelize his brethren to avoid sin. His request was denied! That position has not changed!

The discovery of so-called “planets” which are purely the imaginations of world scientists has further fuelled the unending rivalry between the Eastern and Western Blocs that if America could land on the “moon”, then Russia, China, India and North Korea, could do the same and maintain their assumptions as the “most economically, developed and most advanced countries!”

ADMISSION OF FAILED SPACE MISSION BY AMERICA!
A story was told of an American Lunar Module (LM), space mission pilot Ken Mattingly, who in 1970, was grounded after exposure to “rubella”! That was not all; although he was promptly replaced for the Apollo Space Programme to remain on course, the space module code-named, Apollo 13 (April 11- 17, 1970), which was the seventh crewed mission in the Apollo space programme and the third meant to land on the Moon; but according to Wikipedia, there was an explosion which aborted landing! An oxygen tank in the service module failed two days into the mission forcing the crew to terminate the mission.

RUBELLA, also known as German measles or three-day measles, is an infection caused by the rubella virus; often mild, unnoticeable until an itchy rash surfaces after two weeks of infection on the face and eventually spreads to the rest body. Other symptoms include swollen lymph nodes, sore throat, fatigue including joint pain in adult while complications made result in bleeding problems, testicular swelling and inflammation of nerves. Infection by this disease during pregnancy might result in a child born with congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) or miscarriage. Symptoms of CRS include problem with the eyes such as cataracts, ears such as deafness, heart and brain.

Since rubella, there had been other similar respiratory/parasitic diseases like Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), EBOLA Virus Disease, MALARIA, DENGE, that have negatively threatened human existence on Earth through discharges of regular poisonous gases from space rockets and through exposure to nuclear reactors by the so-called fake world powers!

We have been convinced beyond all reasonable doubt through our research that no man, woman from any race, colour or creed has ever landed on the Moon – the whole episodes of space missions were stage-managed hoax!

EASTER 2020 IS CELEBRATION OF THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
Good Friday 2020, was another opportunity for introspection and for children of God to make necessary restitution for all activities of sinful nature of the past and reciprocate God’s infinite love through the crucifixion of His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ.
Easter Sunday 2020, restored confidence in the sovereign power of God over death in the resurrection of the Lord, the defeat of the kingdom of darkness/hades and the triumph of Jesus after three days in the grave which could not hold Him down; and
Easter Monday 2020, Galilee Rendezvous with the Lord Jesus Christ is the assurance for believers unbroken fellowship with the Saviour of the World, from henceforth into Eternity! It is pertinent for all the people of the earth who are named after God to seize this opportunity of the Easter occasion to righteously circumcise their hearts, acknowledge their sins, repent, confess, forsake and truly ask for forgiveness in order to be permanently saved!
The Lord has deliberately humbled the entire people through chastisement by the deadly parasitic coronavirus pandemic invisible enemy – a leveller, which is no respecter of persons, rich or poor, old or young!

THE END OF THE PANDEMIC IS NOW! ‘’If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.’’ (2 Chron. 7:14).
“ He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?’’(Micah 6:8)
QUESTION: WILL MAN RECOVER HIS MANDATE TO RULE AND BE “god” ON EARTH and NOT GOD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH? (Psalm:82-6)?

The Coronavirus pandemic in the first three months of the year 2020 –January-March, has almost succeeded in completely destroying earth’s environmental eco-system including health/sanitation structures, through total or partial LOCK-DOWN of global socio-economic activities and a general consensus of opinion claimed that SATAN, was responsible for the deadly scourge!

That line of thought was further buttressed by the renowned London-based servant of the Most High God, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, on a recent live Channel TV interview and a fierce debate had been generated among bible scholars who completely disagreed with his theory!
With a view to dousing the raging controversy, We decided to publish the inerrant, infallible and truthful and unadulterated Word of God from the Book of Romans. 1: 18ff, comments as appropriate:
18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, (NOT SATAN), who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. (NOT SATAN).
20. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart (NOT SATAN’S HEART), was darkened.
22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

28. And even as they (men and not Satan), did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

30. Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31. Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
DOES THE WORLD NEED FURTHER CONVICTIONS THAT COVID-19 IS GOD’S JUDGMENT UPON A SINFUL WORLD!
During Saint Paul’s Biblical Second Missionary Journey, he travelled from Asia to Greece and into the capital city of Athens (51-52 AD).where found an altar with the inscription, “TO THE UNKNOWN GOD”. Athens was wholly given to idolatry (just like other cities in Asia), and with, philosophers who disputed Paul’s messages of salvation through Jesus Christ and His Resurrection! However, the Apostle was not deterred by their ignorance but painstakingly revealed the following divine truths: “*That God created the heavens and had given life and breath to all things; *Hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth and hath determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation; *That God expected them to seek Him and find Him because He was very close to them; * That in God, His creation live, move, and have their being; *And that the times of that ignorance, God winked at: but had commanded all men everywhere to repent. *Because He hath appointed a day, in which He would judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead.” (Acts.17:15-34).

THE SECOND ADVENT OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TO JUDGE THE WORLD OF THIS END-TIME; IS CLOSER THAN THE VAIN IMAGINATION OF MEN!
Since the time of the holy prophets and apostles till these last days, scoffers have walked in idolatry and their own lusts vehemently denying the second-coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, because nothing had changed in the world since the creation according to their warped comprehension!

IS IT TRUE THAT EVERYTHING IS WELL BETWEEN GOD AND MAN? NO!
There was a World before the biblical Book of Genesis. 1:1-3; but that world was judged by God and was overflowed with water and perished by the His Word. By the same Word of God, the heavens and the earth which are now kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men will also perish because of man’s unrighteousness! To buttress this biblical truth, the Book of the beginnings in verse two states as follows: “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Before Covid-19 was, God had been God, sovereign in power, might and glory; transcendent as the omnipresence, omnipotent and omniscient; in charge of all of the affairs of His host of Angels in Heaven and of the multitude of His children on Earth!
The God of Heaven would never require assistance from His creation to execute judgment on earth neither would He compromise His holiness with man’s sinful nature, inadequacies and confusion!

SATAN WAS A FALLEN ANGEL CAST OUT OF HEAVEN BECAUSE OF INORDINATE AMBITION!
World population stood at over Six billion people with China and India claiming almost three billion between each other as the two most populous countries of the world!
The novel CORONAVIRUS pandemic started from China, which promptly raised global alarm in December 2019, for all countries to create sanitation and adequate health defense around their citizens.

A UNIVERSAL SHAKING IS GOING ON BUT WE HAVE PRAYED TO THE LORD TO SHOW MERCY!
His wrath and anger will give way to mercy in view of the predicament of the innocent and righteous saints who have been caught up in a calamity they never bargained for and the DESIRE OF ALL NATIONS SHALL BE HIS PLEASURE! ‘’For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.’’(Hag 2:6-7)

PRESIDENT BUHARI IS LENDING CREDENCE TO RUMOUR MILLS!

Belatedly as it were due to persistent pressure from over 200 million Nigerians at home and the Diaspora, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR; succumbed to an address to the nation at 7pm Nigerian time on Sunday, 29th March, 2020, to update on all activities and achievements of the Centre for Disease Control [CDC], at Federal and States level to mitigate the Covid-19 pandemic as it negatively affected the socio-economic psyche and security architecture of the nation! Would you say it was better late than never?

The excitement and camaraderie which greeted President Buhari’s 2015/2019 victories at the electoral polls is fast fading out following the failure of his management team and handlers to re-package his ailing profile and keep him on his toes to perform creditably all of his national duties in the spirit and letter of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

A nation’s Commander-In-Chief needed not possess military prowess to be agile in emergency situations that demanded sagacity and alacrity but when such exalted personality happens to be a retired army general, he is extolled and celebrated as a natural asset at the call of duty in the Ops [operations room], on the field and trenches of national challenges! It is true that the President claimed during his first term electioneering campaign that he was a “reformed democrat”, and that he was “for nobody and was for everybody”, his body language in this second and last term is singing another song: “I am for me, me, mine and to mua!” If the foregoing assertion is untrue, why did the President delay for so long to rise to the occasion of current global Covid-19 pandemic which has negatively affected the socio-economic lives of the citizens and also the execution of the 2020 national budget and to re-assure the Talakawas [about three quarters of the entire population], who voted massively for him at both elections, that he would pilot the nation’s ship to safety no matter the storm! That he would remain at the helm of affairs to allay their fears, protect, succour and cushion all of their needs?

Between January-March 2020, President Buhari has travelled out of Nigeria twice: First to UK, London, in January on a working visit; and Second in February to Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, on another working visit; while no preparations were made at home to counter the imminent incursion of the novel coronavirus which was already devastating China, Europe, the Americas, etc.!

Apart from a short New Year message on 1st January, 2020, the President failed to appear either on national TV or host an organised Media chat to address the pressing national issue of the novel parasitical pandemic until Sunday, 29th March 2020, evening to do the needful and we want to believe that he would follow up to inspect the co-ordinated efforts of the Ministry of Health and the National Centre for Disease Control [NCDC], with the support of all NGOs, CSOs, Armed Forces/Police/para-military personnel on the field, to further douse public outcry and condemnation of such insensitivity of government at the Federal level!

All State Governors, without exception, have been up to the task in mitigating what could result in an upsurge of the virus in Nigeria if not professionally and meticulously handled through appeals for citizens’ co-operation in adhering to stringent measures of lockdown of public utilities [markets, worship centres, schools etc. ], that would affect social activities until the virus was totally subdued!

THE RUMOUR MILL WAS SUFFOCATED!
While Garba Shehu and ‘Femi Adesina, presidential aides on media and publicity, were busy trying to convince Nigerians that President Buhari’s style of governance was different from that of boisterous Mr. Donald Trump of the United States and other world Presidents/Heads of State, before the eventual Sunday broadcast, the social media went viral that the retired military general had tested positive along with his Chief of Staff, Mr. Abba Kyari, and had been smuggled out of Nigeria to a London Hospital, where they were receiving medical attention!

The Minister of Information was not left out in the defence of the President but suffice it to say that all of their actions were efforts in futility. We are aware that the President tested NEGATIVE to the coronavirus and that he is domicile, LIVE AND KICKING in Aso Villa, but he has to come of his cocoon to prove that he is fit as fiddle to complete his assignment of nation building of which he took an oath to perform faithfully, creditably and diligently by stepping out of the Villa to inspect relevant structural facilities and boost the morale of all those dedicated to save the lives of others at the risk of their own!

President Buhari’s handlers are confused, flabbergasted; they have exhausted all the tricks of the book and could not even convince a kindergarten kid that their principal had ceased to run an open government since the beginning of his second and final term!
What does President Buhari intend to gain by being secretive? If he is sick, of course he is human and we will pray life, strength, vigour and vitality back into his system. If he was ever camera shy again, he could be accompanied by his associate, the amiable Vice President, Professor ‘Yemi Osinbajo, and they could do a teamwork (“collabo”), together. In fact, the people will love him for it because of his charisma! The President has constitutional powers to delegate authority to his ministers, but in a national emergency of this nature, the captain must take the rudder and be in full control!

SO RAPTURE OCCURRED AND WE DID NOT KNOW IT?
The sudden but unprecedented deadly and devastating attack of the alien novel Coronavirus disease in over 197 countries of the universe has nearly confused even staunch Christians that events leading to the “end of the world” had begun! But biblical Doctrine of Eschatology is very unambiguous in its documentation of sequences of world events that would consequently lead to future universal dispensations according to God’s divine plan for all ages!
First, each earth citizen will keep appointment with death (natural or unnatural), which separates physical body from the soul-spirit. Second, the soul-spirit departs to either Heaven or Hades where two things will happen:
In Heaven, the soul-spirit consciously awaits judgement and divinely-promised rewards;
In Hades, the consequence of eternal damnation awaits sinners! [Heb.9:27; Jn. 5:28-29; 2 Cor.5:8 ].
Third, while the soul-spirit waits, the event of RAPTURE – an event in which the Lord Jesus Christ suddenly returns to the earth - true believers living or dead will receive their resurrection bodies before a period of tribulation that would occur thereafter according to the scriptures. [1Tess. 4:13-18; 1Cor.15:52-58; Mat.24;21-22; Rev.13:1-18 ]. This peep into the Divine Calendar did not reveal any time frame except that RAPTURE would be very sudden and swift as in “the twinkling of the eye”!

HAS RAPTURE TRULY OCCURRED AND THE EARTH ALREADY EXPERIENCING TRIBULATION?
The following infallible facts according to the Word of God MUST occur for Rapture to take place:
Many false prophets shall arise to impersonate Jesus Christ and deceive many citizen of the earth
There shall be wars and rumours of war, nations shall rise against nations and kingdom against kingdom, there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in various places to usher the beginning of sorrows but not the end of the world.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Signs of the Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ as he descends from Heaven would be revealed “with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise FIRST!”
Then, living Saints would be caught up together with the resurrected dead in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall remain with Him in Heaven forever! [1 Tess,. 4:15-18; 1Cor 15:50-58; Mat.24:29-31].

UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES AND EVENTS!
The Lord predicted that the pestilence in form of coronavirus presently devastating the universe was the beginning of sorrows and not celestial signs for the end of the world! It is a period of sober reflection for all nations to recognize the SOVEREIGNTY of God, repent from all forms of wickedness and let the will of God be done on earth as it is in Heaven! Rapture will be a surprise to the world just like the novel Covid-19! All Christians must be prepared per second, per second!

COVID-19 IS OPPORTUNITY FOR BACKWARD INTEGRATION FOR NIGERIA! $22.7 BILLION FOREIGN LOAN IS DAY-LIGHT ROBBERY!

Concerted efforts by global scientists and economic experts at saving the human race from gradual extinction through severe respiratory attacks by the novel but very deadly coronavirus, are yielding desired results even in China from where it originated! Over 87,000 people have recovered as at Sunday 22nd March, 2020 And for the Nigerian nation, where no single death had been recorded since the outbreak, the Federal Government should seize the unusual opportunity of the global scourge to redeem itself from the odious bottom index position of being the worst country in all international assessments - except for the current pandemic!

According to concerned political pundits/analysts, this moment in the history of Nigeria should represent a time of righteous INTROSPECTION/RESTITUTION ie, putting the CITIZENS socio-economic interests FIRST and SELF LAST! It should not be a time for perfecting foreign loans of USD$22.7 billion dollars for some phantom/unspecified i-n-f-r-a-s-t-r-u-c-t-u-r-e projects across the country, when the lives of the masses are at stake!

Nigeria’s debt profile has hit N33.078 trillion from $85.4billion, as Senate approved President Buhari’s USD$22.7billion “to better the lives of over half of the population who are dwelling in abject poverty”! The $22.7billion dollars or N6.923trillion naira (which was rejected by the 8th National Assembly), was re-forwarded and approved by the 9th Senate on THURSDAY 5TH MARCH, 2020, while world leaders were running helter-skelter to protect their beloved citizens from being ravaged by the rampaging coronavirus parasites exported to the world from the People’s Republic of China, with highest global population of 1.5billion people.

NEED FOR NATIONAL CONVERSATION: ARE NIGERIA’S POLITICIANS CREATED BY GOD?

****AND DEBT SERVICING IN FIVE YEARS, 2015-2019, STOOD AT N8TRILLION NAIRA! WHO WILL PAY THESE DEBTS? THE ABOUT 100 MILLION POOR MASSES?
None of this leaders envisaged that Covid-19 would pose any obstacle to their insatiable penchant for outrageous borrowing, outrageous spending and outrageous life-style bestowed upon them by an outrageous 1999 Constitution;

BUT when it so happened that the scourge was a DIVINE intervention to checkmate the excesses of homo sapiens, SHOULD THEY NOT HAVE BACKED OUT? The current economic condition of Nigeria cannot be salvaged with avalanche of loans and more loans BUT by collapsing all economic planks inwards and taking advantage of the covic-19 pandemic, to CLOSE THE NATION’S BORDERS PERMANENTLY AS LONG AS IT WOULD TAKE TO BUILD A SELF-SUSTAINING AND EGALITARIAN SOCIETY – LIKE CHINA WHICH SUCCESSFULLY LIFTED 740 MILLION PEOPLE FROM POVERTY BETWEEN 1978- 2017 – IT IS THE ONLY WAY CONSIDERING THAT CRUDE OIL INTERNATIONAL PRICE HAS FURTHER CRASHED TO $22 DOLLARS!

NIGERIA SHOULD FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF OTHER WORLD LEADERS WHO LOVE THEIR CITIZENS!
Concerned political leaders across continents at such a time as this global calamity of great magnitude would look out FIRST for the absolute welfare/comfort of their citizens through the execution of all socio-economic contract in a bottom-up approach! They have closed their land borders, grounded their aircrafts, banned tourism in any form, discouraged massive assemblies at stadia, mosques and churches; have temporarily shut down educational institutions and encourage parents to keep their wards at home; constructed more isolation centres to attend to suspected cases, pumped more funds into the healthcare, pharmaceutical and strategic economic sectors to keep internal machinery of local trade, commerce and regulated social activities in motion! The wisdom in all of these is crystal clear because sizable crowd in any gathering would pose less risk in periods of emergency such as the coronavirus pandemic than stadia crowds!

WHAT IS NIGERIA DOING TO PROTECT ITS CITIZENS?
*FG has set up Ministerial Committee and Presidential Task Force to carry out necessary interventions. *Acknowledged Economic Advisory Council (EAC), suggestions to mitigate effects of spiralling effects of the pandemic on the economy.*Has ordered for additional compulsory construction of Centre for Disease Control (CDC), institutions in all States of the federation to attend to all suspected cases of coronavirus. *Collaborating and encouraging States to build well-equipped Isolation Centres, to accommodate suspected cases during the period of clinical observation.
*Professional football activities have been suspended for 28 days from 17th March, 2020, in the first instance to avoid mass crowding. *National Sports Festival to be hosted by Edo State, South-South, was put on hold. *Budget benchmark of USD$57dollars per barrel of crude oil reduced to still an unrealistic $30 dollars.*Reduction of PMS (Petrol), pump price from N145-N125 from 18th March, 2020, for now to cushion effects of hardship of the pandemic on the population.
*Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has released tranches of N50 billion and N 1.1 trillion intervention funds to stimulate all critical sectors of the economy to cushion disruptions and negative impact of the virus on the Nigerian economy and boost local manufacturing. It also collapsed the import/export EXCHANGE RATE to respond to market developments, now from N36 6-N380 per US dollar! *FG has banned travellers from 13 countries including the United States, UK, China, Italy, Japan, Spain, France, Iran, Germany, South Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland etc. with over 1,000 cases of the pandemic! *All international airports have been closed except for Murtala Mohammed, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe, Abuja. *NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide have been shut down etc, etc.
WHAT BUHARI HAS FAILED TO DO!
*Cancellation of the N55billion earmarked for luxurious foreign vehicles for 469 legislators of the National Assembly.(NASS)!
*Cancellation of the N37billion naira earmarked for RENOVATION of NASS Complex!
*REDUCTION of salaries/allowances of federal and state executive officers, political appointees, legislators and Senior Civil Servants by 50%!
*Cancellation of the FOREIGN LOAN of USD$22.7billion dollars already approved by the Senate for President Buhari’s (2nd Term), Federal Government for FRESH “critical infrastructure s s s s s s s s projects across Nigeria” which the EAC has advised should be discouraged for now because another recession could creep in if the situation was not properly handled!
*Indefinite LAND BORDER CLOSURE to block illegal immigration, mitigate against all forms of INSECURITY through crimes/criminalities and allow for economic recovery through total diversification to aggressive mass-assisted AGRICULTURAL, INDUSTRIALIZATION AND MANUFACTURING ventures on national scale!
*Government must intensify the anti-corruption war during the compulsory border closure, recover all looted funds, prosecute all offenders and bring them to justice to discourage others from such anti-social attitude!
*The LAND USE ACT must be reviewed to favour all CITIZENS who are the bona fide owners of the land – to be used as COLLATERALS FOR BANK LOANS – in order to encourage more citizens establish Cottage Industries, Micro, Medium Small Scale Industries – which form the backbone of successful economies world-wide! Gainfully employed citizens have no business with crimes!
*Ban on all foreign importations! Government to ensure that henceforth Nigerians ate what they grow to stop all foreign loans and financial commitments!
*Dangote Petroleum must be supported by government with additional REFINERIES since Oil and Gas would still play major role in financing annual budgets!
*Federal Government must as a matter of urgency complete the AJAOKUTA STEEL INDUSTRY, in Kogi State, which would supply needed iron consignments for local industry consumption and also as an alternative industrial foreign exchange-earner sector! EXPORT MUST TAKE THE FRONT BURNER AS A MAJOR GOVERNMENT POLICY!
*Support and patronize local vehicle manufacturers, re-activate all moribund Motor Assembly Plants/Textile Industries and create more employment opportunities for all able-bodied citizens – especially the youth!
*GOVERNMENT MUST MAKE EDUCATION COMPULSORY AND FREE FROM NURSERY TO SENIOR SECONDARY LEVEL BUILD STRONG INSTITUTIONS AND VERY FORMIDABLE SECURITY FORCES DEFENCE!
THE MYTH CALLED CORONAVIRUS!
Death tolls across the world as at the time of this publication on Sunday, 22nd March, 2020, surpassed 11,000 from an estimated 235,000 infected people, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), however, about 87,000 infected people have recovered, mostly in China, where the outbreak first erupted. From all indications, is the Buhari Administration ready and determined to defeat the glaring negative effects of the coronavirus which has not and will not, by the especial grace of God, have full-blown presence among the Nigerian population through the proactive measures that have been suggested?
But it is imperative for President Buhari to muster the POLITICAL WILL to push through all the suggested decisive policies to take Nigeria out of its economic quagmire once and for all for his name to be written in gold by posterity. There could be no better time than this!

THERE CAN BE NO BUHARI WITHOUT AN OSINBAJO!

The compound word “Spare tyre” is the Nigerian derogatory parlance for a serving deputy governor who has no constitutional job description and could only be functional at the discretion of his principal!

But could same be said of the current Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Professor ‘Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), whose roles are clearly defined in the Third Schedule Part 1 Section 18 (a), as Chairman, National Economic Council (NEC), a position which he had creditably held since 2015, with his team of the 36 Governors and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), who were able the repel the recession of 2017-2018, established the Economic Recovery Plan Growth (ERPG), and kept the ailing economy afloat to deliver dividends of democracy to the people until the recession was killed and buried? The answer is an emphatic NO!

In addition to the foregoing, the President also appointed him as Chairman of the Governing Board of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), National Boundary Commission, the Border Communities Development Agencies, and the Niger Delta Holding Company, a limited liability outfit owned by the three tiers of government.

But recently the executive and constitutional powers of VP Osinbajo are being eroded by charlatans at the corridors of power just as they did when Buhari was on an hospital bed in London in 2018!

Villa watchers noticed that those members of the kitchen cabinet who by-passed acting President, ‘Yemi Osinbajo in August 2018 and FLEW TO LONDON FOR BUHARI’S SIGNATURE OF THE 2016 BUDGET DURING HIS FIRST TERM HEALTH CHALLENGE, WERE STILL OPERATING BEHIND THE SCENES!

That school of thought believed that a dichotomy existed between the two first citizens whom the Constitution recognises as ONE; in view of certain in-house actions/adjustments in the last nine months of the second term in this sequence:

First was the transfers/relief from duty in August 2019, of not less than 35 aides attached to the Office of the VP and the transfer of Special Intervention Programme (SIP), comprising of the Trader Money Scheme, Market Women Special Loans, N-Power Scheme for tertiary graduates, School Feeding Programme, (which were passionate inventions of Professor Osinbajo), etc, to the newly-created Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development; on the orders of Mr. President, allegedly without prior notice to his next in command!

He was equally ordered to always seek presidential approvals for official decisions over government Agencies under his supervision – which would include the administration of the National Economic Council (NEC)?
Next was the September 2019, investiture of a 7-member Economic Advisory Council (EAC), which took over from the disbanded Economic Monitoring Team (EMT), chaired by the VP, and which according to government would “accelerate implementation of urgent economic policies and eliminate bureaucratic bottlenecks, in the second and last term of the ruling APC!

Third was that, when the substantive President returned after over 90 days rest in London, he reversed some policy decisions made on his behalf! (a) He removed Mathew Seiyefa, who was appointed to replace Daura as Head of DSS, following the unprofessional National Assembly (NASS), “invasion” on 8th August 2018. (b) The President also sacked the erstwhile Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, over false assets declaration issues!

FAILURE TO HAND OVER TO OSINBAJO IN THE SECOND TENURE! CAN BUHARI GO THROUGH THE SECOND TERM ALONE?

The GLOBE TROTTERS resumed their pastime by pursing him to append his signature on VITAL GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS in April 2019, while on private visit to LONDON for about 20 days.

Prominent among the documents was the “Bill to Amend the Deep Offshore Act”, and because HE DID NOT HAND OVER TO HIS VICE, he assented to the very vital constitutional document in A FOREIGN COUNTRY!

The President’s spoke persons said that the president could operate from any country of the world and attributed the supposed rift between the two first citizens as the handiwork of fifth columnists who were desperate to fan embers of discord because the Nigerian Constitution did not make it mandatory for Mr. President to transmit a written declaration to NASS except when the vacation exceeded 21 days!

THE PRESIDENCY, APC GOVERNORS, CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA AND THE EDITORIAL BOARD OF THIS NEWSLETTER, HAVE DENIED THE EXISTENCE OF ANY RIFT BETWEEN BUHARI AND OSINBAJO, BUT HOW TRUE WERE THOSE ASSERTIONS?
BUHARI SHOULD REMEMBER HE IS ON HIS WAY OUT!

President Muhamadu Buhari is on his last political lap forever – just THREE YEARS, TWO MONTHS, to pack bag and baggage and exit the State House, Abuja, with all of the intrigues, his extended families, appointees, cabals, the kitchen cabinet, boot-leakers et al, just like his predecessors did!

By that time, the oily pen of history would be concluding its resume’ of accounts of BUHARISM – successes/failures for posterity to judge!

When in August last year (three months into his second tenure), the President addressed designated federal ministers on induction retreat, he was very categorical that he had placed an embargo on free access to his office to avoid distractions because, “FOUR YEARS IS NOT A VERY LONG TIME”!

Other part of the official Statement is reproduced below:
“In terms of co-ordination, kindly ensure that all submissions for my attention or meeting requests be CHANNELLED through the Chief of Staff (COS), while all Federal Executive Council matters be co-ordinated through the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.”

To unrepentant critics of his administration, the President’s statement was high-handed, despotic, unconstitutional and nothing short of a blanket order which was cleverly designed to reduce to serfdom/subjection of all subordinates including the VICE PRESIDENT, National Security Adviser (NSA), the Armed Forces Service Chiefs, the Inspector General of Police etc, in a subtle kind of oligarchy!

However, the President was emphatic that the move was in the interest of POOR PEOPLE, whom he was determined to bequeath quicker results of actualising a more prosperous Nigeria in the areas of adequate SECURITY, macro-economic stability through AGRICULTURE and FOOD SECURITY, the anti-corruption war, industrialisation, energy security for petroleum products/electricity, TRANSPORTATION, HOUSING, financing and consumer credit facilities, to be fully implemented to prosper them through regular good nutritional food, quality education for their children, including affordable health care for their families without delay.

RUMBLINGS WITHIN THE ASO ROCK COMPLEX!

Shortly after the unpopular directive, the social media was awash with contents of a purported letter written by the National Security Adviser, a retired Army General who would not stomach the insult of passing through a “bloody civilian” to meet with his Commander-In-Chief, and was reported to have security details attached to the Chief Security Adviser (CSO) removed. Presidency has kept quiet about the issue which went viral in February 2020!

IS IT REALLY TRUE THAT ASO ROCK IS DIVIDED AGAINST ITSELF?

THIS DEVELOPMENT IS NOT GOOD FOR APC –NOT FOR BUHARI! (Re-published is a comment from one of our previous publication in respect of the CSO’s Office.)
“During his first tenure, he (Mr. Abba Kyari), caved under much pressure from all directions of the polity; from appointed ministers, secretary to government, heads of service and parastatals, political jobbers in the corridors of power, high profile contractors, captains of industries, organised labour, lobbyists, protesters, etc, etc., because it was the first term of his principal (who claimed to have become a “democrat”), after a long break from martial governance! The President then had to be very accommodative as he converted to a new trajectory in democracy but this time around he has barred them all (INCLUDING VP OSINBSJO?), from barging into the Villa as if it were a Village Square where the "baale" had no prerogative!

WOULD ABBA KYARI HAVE MERCY ON THE AGGRIEVED?

What would be the fate of the thousands of thousands of petitioners who can only communicate their president through the mails when the men of timber and calibre were barred from free access to the Aso Rock Office? We have it on credible authority that Mr. President was always oblivious to the pains of the aggrieved from one administration to another because documented petitions ended in COS trash bins - in most cases without any form of acknowledgement, even when the addressee was personalized! We want to believe that the presidential directive was a BLANKET CHEQUE to deprive aggrieved citizens from seeking redress from their CHIEF SERVANT who promised to cater for their welfare at all times!

VICE PRESIDENT OSINBAJO (AS A SENIOR ADVOCATE OF NIGERIA),CAN NO LONGER DEFEND THE POOR MASSES?

During their first term, office of the Vice President handled the avalanche of petitions which the CSO could not attend to and now that all members of his staff have been disbanded, the aggrieved in Nigeria can ONLY PETITION GOD!

Buhari started well with his VP ‘Yemi Osinbajo, an amiable, highly-educated, professional, diligent, dogged, resilient, dependable, a meticulous legal luminary and very righteous worker; A MOST RELIABLE ASSET WHO IS NULLI SECUNDUS: He cannot afford to sideline him to please political NITWITS in order to avoid the anger and wrath of posterity and the Almighty God who gave him TWO TERMS IN OFFICE (according to our prophecies), to carry out DIVINE MANDATES over Nigeria, if he MUST REMAIN RELEVANT IN TIME TO COME AFTER HIS EXIT!

OSINBAJO IS ALSO A CROWD PULLER LIKE BUHARI! The CLOCK is ticking! “A word is enough for the wise!”
