Proponents of TRUE FEDERALISM from within the ranks of past administrations in Nigeria from 1999 deliberately deceived the citizens to further perpetrate military presidency!

They were insincere when they initiated National Conferences of delegates from all Geo-Political Zones to discuss and made recommendations when it was common knowledge that True Federalism

could only thrive in a democracy that was completely devoid of corruption, tribalism, nepotism, autocracy, feudalism, despotism, and bigotry in all its ramifications!

Ex- Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), foisted Kangaroo National Conferences which gulped TWO DIGIT BILLIONS OF NAIRA to corruptly suppress True Federalism agitatators but to no avail!

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which is currently battling for 'Bola Tinubu's credibility at the Presidential Election Petition Court, did not touch the volumes of recommendations until August 2017 when it set up a 23-Man Committee on True Federalism headed by the ex Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasri El Rufai, which came up with 24 Issues which attracted public interest.

On 25th January 2018 a comprehensive report was handed over to former National Chairman of APC Chief John Oyegun who promised that by the middle of February 2018 all structures of the party would meet and consider the report so that the National Executive Council (NEC), which was the party's caucus would be able to decide on all salient issues. Up to the time of Buhari's two-term tenure, the report never saw the daylight!

AND NOW TINUBU HAS CONTINUED TO BASTARDIZE NIGERIA WITH MILITARY PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM AND EVERYBODY IS HAILING HIM!

The moral decadence in the Nigerian polity has taken the dimension of the "dog going back to its vomit!" 

SHAMELESS CITIZENS FROM ALL POLITICAL DIVIDE ARE CONGRATULATING 'BOLA TINUBU FOR JUMPING FROM FRYING PAN INTO FIRE AFTER HIS INAUGURAL GAFFE IN RESPECT OF PETROL SUBSIDY REMOVAL WITHOUT NECESSARY AND POSITIVE PALLIATIVES IN PLACE TO CUSHION THE SPIRAL EFFECTS PLAGUING THE DOWN TRODDEN MASSES OF MULTI-DIMENSIONALLY POVERTY-STRICKEN TALAKAWAS!

Most of the small parties that have won some seats across board both at the National Assembly and at the State Assemblies have begun to jump ship into the ruling APC even as litigation for credibility was still ongoing at the Petition Tribunal!

SPECIAL ADVISERS BEFORE INAUGURATION TOLD TINUBU TO HIT THE GROUND RUNNING!

On assumption to the highest office having departed active service in 15 years, he obeyed without a second thought and in FOUR WEEKS OF CONTINUOUS BLUNDERS (29TH MAY - 25TH JUNE 2023), the following absurdities cascaded from Aso Rock like a molten lava and destroying everything in its path. 

1) He verbally removed the obnoxious, controversial, phantom fuel subsidy during his inaugural speech without any consultation with established authorities like the National Economic Council (NEC) and insulted the citizen's collective psyche sarcastically by claiming that he mentioned during his campaign that he would remove the phantom subsidy if he became President!

2) He inaugurated NEC on Wednesday 21st June 2023 to belatedly discuss palliatives after the Citizens had suffered untold hardships which cannot go away except his UNILATERAL DECISION ON SUBSIDY REMOVAL WAS RESCINDED!

3) The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) are holding discussions with the Federal Government that Subsidy Removal should be reversed and that in the interim, workers must be paid a NATIONAL WAGE OF 200,000 NAIRA PER MONTH! Questions to be answered by President Tinubu: Can a builder embark on a construction without first digging a solid foundation? Were there palliatives in place to cushion the spiral effect of astronomical increase of 160% on cost of goods and services? What about food scarcity and inflation escalation day by day and the citizens anger that resulted into civil disobedience in some parts of the country?

4) Signing Statute-bar Bills without proper advice. (4) Appointment of Advisors when Permanent Secretaries of MDAs were in charge with authentic data for smooth administration; the same old method of compensating loyalists. (5) Ensuring that subsidy removal would provide funds to pay salaries and allowances of his administration at the detriment of the masses.

5) He suspended the Central Bank Governor (CBN), and EFCC Chairman on allegations of corruption and abuse of office.

6) Dabbled into national security - a terrain to which he was completely alien by summarily sacking of all Service Chiefs/National Security Adviser and replacing them with immediate effect in order to show his executive power as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces!

7) Since his assumption of office COST OF GOVERNANCE HAS INCREASED BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS and he is thinking of BORROWING MORE MONEY BUT HAS BEEN BLOCKED BY THE DEBT MANAGEMENT OFFICE!

8) On Thursday 22nd June 2023, news filtered in that 114% salary increase for Mr. President, his Vice, elected Federal and State political office holders and Judicial officers Federal and State political office holders and judicial officers had been finalized as if it were BUSINESS AS USUAL - but his aides have denied the news as untrue.

REBELLION IS AS SIN OF WITCH CRAFT!

Instead of complying with DIVINE INSTRUCTION to announce at inauguration the composition of a CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY that will formulate the necessary laws to initiate a UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF HIS ASSUMPTION, Tinubu did the opposite by adding more headaches, migraine, excruciating pains, agonies and even deaths to the less privileged of the society who are the taxpayers by denying them the only DIVIDEND OF DEMOCRACY - PETROL AT AFFORDABLE PRICE!

QUESTION QUESTION QUESTION!!!!!

HAS TINUBU AND HIS TEAM OF SPECIAL AIDES AND ADVISERS DECLARED THEIR ASSETS ACCORDING TO THE CODE OF CONDUCT BUREAU (C C B) AND TRIBUNAL ACT CHAPTER 58 LAW OF THE FEDERATION OF NIGERIA (LFN) 1990?

CCB has the legal mandate to establish and maintain a high standard of public morality in the conduct of government business and to ensure that the actions and behaviour public officers conform to the highest standards of public morality.

The Agency must also carry out its own onerous duties by assuring that all public officers whether elected or appointed recruited or contracted must collect a mandatory form from its offices across the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT and fill and return such forms duly signed to confirm that the declarant could vouchsafe that every declaration was his or her conviction and was true and correct.

 And that every declarant was also required by law to declare his or her assets liabilities actually owned including overseas properties stating their values in foreign currencies at the material time and not anticipated assets/liabilities including that of a spouse is who is not a public officer and children under 18 years of age; sincerely and submitted to the Bureau within 30 days of the receipt of the forms. Declarants must personally go and swear to the declarations before a High Court Judge nearest to their work stations before submitting to the Bureau. Most importantly all of these must have been done before assumption of any government appointment!!! Nigerians need urgent answers from Tinubu and his newly recruited CRONIES immediately!

Tinubu is believed to be wealthier than the LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT - ALBEIT THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT!

Nigerians cannot easily forget how Tinubu boasted of sponsoring the ex President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC to win elections in 2015 and 2019. They cannot also forget the BULLION VAN that were sighted at his Ikoyi Residence, Lagos State on the days of elections and how he also boasted that he could spend his money as a liked!

Today Tinubu is President of Nigeria. He must give account to Nigerians before giving any further Presidential Executive Orders on the affairs of this nation!

ANOTHER QUESTION TO BE ASKED ABOUT THE "FUEL SUBSIDY IS GONE" VITUPERATION AT HIS INAUGURATION?

Did it have the backing of any INSTRUMENT OF LAW? WAS IT GAZETTED? WAS IT A PRESIDENTIAL PREROGATIVE? OR WAS IT EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 1 WITHOUT LEGAL BACKING? Nigerians need answers very quickly!

THE NIGERIAN PRESIDENTIAL DEMOCRACY AND POLITICIANS HAVE EXPIRED!  

Abraham Lincoln's definition of democracy is "a government of the people by the people and for the people". He was the 16th President of the US whose administration supported the abolition of SLAVE TRADE in America. Another and more acceptable definition states that democracy is "a Society in which the Citizens are Sovereign and control the government"; similar to what obtains in the current Nigerian military-packaged Constitution!

The United States of America, 4th July 1776-2023, GDP USD $23.32 trillion dollars (2021), acclaimed as the bastion of democracy, wielded executive presidential power and authority to provide overall socio-economic amenities to the advantage of its citizens who immensely benefitted from professional quality protection and highest per capita income among the comity of nations! Nigerian politicians claim that the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been largely copied from the United States system of democracy but failed to grow the nation's economy, derelicted in all social contracts - especially human development capital and in the security of lives and property of the Citizens! What stopped the military surrogates from adopting the British Parliamentary System which was cost-effective, citizens-friendly and security intensive in view of grassroots orientation and participation?

Although Nigeria like the USA is endowed with natural mineral resources and  arable agricultural lands all over the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the unpatriotic leaders preferred to enrich themselves and their cronies through organized CORRUPTION at the highest level of government with the God-given largesse rather than complement the Unalienable Fundamental Rights of the Sovereign Citizens!

PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM IS ANATHEMA TO DEVELOPING NATIONS - BECAUSE IT IS TOO COSTLY TO ADMINISTER WITHOUT MASSIVE INTERNALLY GENERATED REVENUES (IGRs)!

Corruption has reduced the Security architecture of Nigeria into Boys Brigade and Scouts Companies for lack of sophisticated weapons from one administration to another and as a result, BOTH THE CRIMINALS AND RECYCLED/EXPIRED POLITICIANS GOVERN NIGERIA SIDE-BY-SIDE!

ASARI DOKUBO, former Niger Delta Militant Leader has told President 'Bola Tinubu that UNIFORMED ARMED SERVICE MEN - especially Nigerian Army and their Navy counterparts are now fully engaged in STEALING/MARKETING CRUDE OIL ON INTERNATIONAL WATERS WITH BRUTAL FORCE!

 Dokubo insisted that the military is at the centre of oil theft saying, “we have to make this very clear to the Nigerian public that 99 per cent of oil theft can be traced to the Nigerian military, the Army and the Navy especially.”

THE NAVY RESPONDS TO DOKUBO'S ALLEGATIONS!

Responding to the allegation, Nigerian Navy spokesman, Commodore Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan challenged the ex-militant to reveal the names of officers involved in crude oil theft noting, the allegation against the military is “spurious and unguarded”.

Nigeria has been universally indexed the MOST CORRUPT COUNTRY IN THE WORLD; THE MOST IMPOVERISHED, THE COUNTRY WITH THE WORST SECURITY CHALLENGES and THE DIRTIEST!

And yet the struggle for power at the Federal, State and Local Government Area levels is so intense and so shamelessly, fiercely and corruptly contended before, during and after the 2023 General Elections because there were still MORE BOOTIES TO LOOT???

Everybody is a Lord of the Manor in the Presidential System of government in Nigeria and this has given credence to the high-handedness and governance of IMPUNITY witnessed in 63 years of Independence!

THE THIRD DEFINITION OF DEMOCRACY.

There is third definition which states that democracy "is government by the people in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system." 

Let's juxtapose the third definition with Chapter II Section (13) (14) (1) (2) (a) (b) (c) of the 1999 Constitution as amended below:

13. It shall be the duty and responsibility of all organs of government, and of all authorities and persons, exercising legislative, executive or judicial powers, to conform to, observe and apply the provisions of this Chapter of this Constitution. 

14.(1) The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be a State based on the principles of democracy and social justice. 

(2) It is hereby, accordingly, declared that: 

(a) Sovereignty belongs to the people of Nigeria from whom government through this Constitution derives all its powers and authority; 

(b) the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government: and 

(c) the participation by the people in their government shall be ensured in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution.

THE DEDUCTION FROM ALL OF THE ABOVE IS THAT UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT IS THE WAY TO GO; THAT THE PEOPLE, FROM THE GRASSROOTS MAY ENJOY THE SOVEREIGNTY WHICH WAS JETTISONED THROUGH THE PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM OF DAYLIGHT ROBBERY TO BASIC NECESSITIES OF LIFE! 

1) If adventurous soldiers had not bungled PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY that was ushered through PRIME MINISTER TAFAWA BALEWA AT INDEPENDENCE in the form of Regional Federation, Nigeria would have enjoyed peace and stability to date.

2) If in 30 years of military aberration, citizens' psyche WAS NOT militarized to behave as zombies which accepted another form of despotic militarization of Nigeria without resistance in 1999, Nigeria would have taken its rightful place as the true Giant of Africa as the economic destination of both the Black Continent and the entire WORLD!

HOWEVER, HOPE IS NOT LOST! THE CHOICE OF SPEAKER TJ ABBAS IS THE STEPPING STONE FOR TINUBU TO ACTUALIZE THE DIVINE COMMAND TO ESTABLISH PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM IN SIX MONTHS OF ASSUMPTION OF OFFICE!

The cliché that majority will have their way and minority their say must be subjected to further analysis to establish composition of the majority that existed at each event of contest in view of the type that carried the day at the House of Representatives Election of Principal Officers Tuesday 13th June 2023!

They described themselves as the "GREATER MAJORITY" and won landslide with a figure that could easily qualify for the Guinness Book of Records!

Speaker TJ Abbas garnered 353 votes from among 360 members while other contestants got 3 votes each!

There's no doubt that the FOUNDATION FOR PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY HAS BEEN LAID AT THE 10TH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES and all that the Executive needed to do through Mr. President was to support the move through introduction of an EXECUTIVE BILL for immediate POPULAR REFERENDUM for the establishment of A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT WITHIN SIX MONTHS ACCORDING TO DIVINE MANDATE!

ASPIRING NIGERIAN POLITICIANS MUST HENCEFORTH BE SUBJECTED TO PSYCHIATRIC TESTS!

 

(A). Nigeria was alien to terrorism, insurgency high profile crimes and criminality until 1999 when a former military Head of State was released from PRISON to become a DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT to the surprise of concerned patriots but little did anyone realise that his debut was the beginning of another round of sufferings of the Citizens under a fresh set of Task Masters!

The demise of General Sani Abacha should have concluded the end of military era forever in Nigeria but it did not turn out as expected because the most senior in rank after him decided otherwise!

 

Retired General Olusegun Obasanjo who was imposed as civilian President desecrated the high office in soldierly manner by perpetrating all manner of atrocities through extra-judicial killings, premeditated and executed by unknown government operatives and after two terms of EIGHT YEARS, he had the effrontery to surreptitiously moot his inordinate ambition to RULE for a third term!

With one voice all patriotic Nigerians opposed his unconstitutional and clandestine move and in retaliation he openly declared that the 2007 Presidential Elections would be "A DO-OR-DIE EVENT!

(B). The duo of Umaru Musa Yar'adua and Goodluck Jonathan took over the mantle of leadership from the very corrupt administration of Obasanjo without effecting any positive change!

At the height of public outcry and the media against institutional mal-administration and decadence Jonathan said that STEALING WAS NOT CORRUPTION and so until he was ousted in 2015 the country was subjected to shame and degradation among the comity of Nations.

(C). While ex-President Muhammadu Buhari was in the trench as opposition, each time he failed to rest the presidency from the various incumbents from 2003 to 2015, he belched fire and brimstone and caused the death of so many innocent citizens most especially in the Northern States of Nigeria through unwarranted and senseless protests.

 At a stage, he boasted that if he did not win his Fourth attempt in 2015, "DOGS AND BABOONS WILL BE SOAKED IN BLOOD!"

He kept his promise in eight years of two terms to destroy Nigeria totally with unprecedented figures of human casualties and massive destruction of institutional strategic infrastructures!  His administration had been adjudged as the worst so far since attainment of Nigeria's Independence from the British Colonial Masters!

(D). THE STATE GOVERNORS AND LEGISLATORS WERE EQUALLY CULPABLE!

NASIR El RUFAI, two term Governor of Kaduna State, led the pack of feudalistic, clanish, tribalistic, nepotistic and religious bigots among State Administrators from 2015-2023!

He took special delight in the sufferings/anguish deliberately meted on the Southern Kaduna Indigenes who were dominantly Christians through regular attacks by armed Fulani Herdsmen who regularly invaded their territories in company of their foreign collaborators to kill, maim and destroy their properties and farms with reckless abandon! Also at the slightest disagreement on political issues with his colleagues he vented his anger by demolishing their immovable properties which according to him were situated on unapproved plots of lands!

(E). NYESOME WIKE, erstwhile Governor of Rivers State was another sadistic politician who took delight in extra-judicial killings of the opposition!

From the very bloody 2015 gubernatorial elections which brought him to power to the end of his second tenure, Rivers State was notorious for decapitation of its citizens through sponsored cultism by his administration!

Graves of headless bodies littered Port Harcourt and it's suburbs throughout his reign of terror! A Nigeria Police Assistant Superintendent, posted to the State Capital was beheaded in cold blood in the heat and desperation for a second term bid!

(F).THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS {APC)  INCUMBENT KOGI STATE GOVERNOR - Yahaya Bello, turned out to be a terror to the citizens of the State in spite of the fact that he was a product of divine providence. He stepped in without any election following the demise of Abubakar Audu, the governorship candidate who had already won the ballot!

In the events leading to his second tenure from from16th November 2019, Yahaya Bello showed his true colours by unleashing mayhem upon the population by sponsoring arms-wielding thugs to terrorize all opposition! An   opposition party Woman Leader was allegedly locked up in her residence and burnt alive with her properties during electioneering campaigns!

Now he calls himself the LION OF KOGI STATE! On 3rd June 2023,  his convoy confronted the Social Democratic Party (SDP), governorship candidate on a Lokoja Highway and he was said to have ordered his security details to shoot and kill the entire entire opposition entourage who escaped by the whiskers!

And in an media interview, he describe the opposition candidate as an ANTELOPE which crossed the path of a LION and boasted that the antelope would not be so lucky the next time! Shortly before 25th February 2023, Presidential Elections, the power-drunk Governor instructed all APC Stakeholders and Candidates to physically harass all opposition and ensure victory at all costs!

(G). 7TH NASARAWA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY NOW BOASTS OF TWO SPEAKERS FOLLOWING A DICHOTOMY!

The inaugural ceremony of the 7th Nasarawa State of Assembly on Tuesday 6th June 2023, produced two Speakers (1) A third-term seeking candidate and (2) A green horn representing Kokona Constituency of the State – at different venues!

(H). AIR NIGERIA IS A SCAM AND A FRAUD - NASS! 

The outgoing Legislators of the 9th National Assembly (NASS), House of Representatives described the Nigeria Air national carrier launched before the exit of Muhammadu Buhari by his fanatic home-boy Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika as a complete SCAM and FRAUD!

(I). Senator 'Bola Tinubu has signed the obnoxious, detestable and outrageous Bill on Electricity Tarrifs into law just like other draconian Bills that are anti-citizens!

(J).Tinubu's eldest daughter has appointed herself as the IYALOJA GENERAL OF NIGERIA (HEAD OF ALL MARKET WOMEN), AND SIMULTANEOUSLY, THE FIRST DAUGHTER OF NIGERIA while the outgoing SENATE has addressed Mrs.'Remi Tinubu as FIRST LADY a  title that does not exist in the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! The list of questionable behaviors of Nigerian politicians which point to situations of psychotic challenges or mental disorders is very long but suffice it to recommend that there could be no better time than NOW for all Nigerians to demand that current office holders should be mandated to submit themselves for HEAD CHECKS WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS and henceforth no politician would vie for elective offices without requisite and authentic PSYCHIATRIC CERTIFICATE!

Maybe Tinubu could have deputized his inaugural speech of 29th May 2023, to one of his subordinates like he did at Chatham House! But, is such arrangement allowed even under the Military 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

1) To conclude that BAT ('Bola Ahmed Tinubu), did not prepare for PRESIDENCY will tantamount to an understatement!

2) To also say that he did not consult widely before declaring that: "... oil subsidy is gone," will be incorrect. He consulted widely with the wrong people - the kitchen cabinet left behind by PMB, the old Soldier! And one must not quickly forget that the change of baton was between the APC Relay Race Sprint Quartet - ie. from the CHANGE TO HOPE!

3) King Rehoboam's wrong consultation cost him his crown! (I Kings. 12: 3-14).Saul's wicked consultation with the Sahendrin got him blinded on his way to Damascus and could not recover his sight until a Prophet of God prayed for him. ( Acts.9: 1- 12).

4) Tinubu's metaphor on "Church Rat and Poisoned Holy Communion" was a joke taken too far for it was Blasphemous and Sadistic!

Tinubu's administration started with controversy which has exposed PRESIDENCY in Nigeria as the worst system of government synonymous to emission of poisonous gas to the docile and multi-dimensionally poor citizens! When Tinubu goofed on subsidy removal policy, STOCK MARKET APPRECIATED by 2.2 PERCENT according to government sources. His apologists must comment on positive economic perspectives to prove that their principal Tinubu as an EXPERT STRATEGIST. But they are wrong! What about the people involved- the citizens who suffered the negative spiraling ripple effects of forced displacement from the comfort of their homes to become street urchins who passed nights at SHUT FILLING STATIONS?

What about ECONOMIC LOSSES THROUGH the unending Man Hours following the unguarded VERY SENSITIVE POLICY STATEMENT for several days across the country?

How much did his new Federal and State Administrations lose in a week- long commotion caused through HIS VERY INSENSITIVE AND UNDIPLOMATIC VITUPERATION ON HIS INAUGURATION DAY

If subsidy removal will allow petroleum prices in Nigeria to compete with MARKET FORCES why would NNPCL suggest prices of between NGN497 and NGN 550 naira pump price? Should the government agency prices be regarded as the INTERNATIONAL MARKET PRICES?

It is obvious that TINUBU JUMPED THE GUN to obey his master's voice.

Tinubu is maybe an "accountant" but DEFINITELY NOT AN ECONOMISTS - he is AN UNREPENTANT CAPITALIST!

OUR CONCLUSIONS:

Like his predecessors from 1999 to date, Tinubu was unprepared for presidency! If he did not goof that SUBSIDY IS GONE IMPROMPTU, HEAVEN WILL NOT FALL!. Tinubu is not a Democrat after all ! HE IS A BAT WITH TWO IDENTITIES! He is a bird in the daytime and an animal in the nightime! TINUBU IS AN UNREMORSEFUL CARELESS TALKER! Nigerians are HUMANS NOT ROBOTS!

No Tinubu apologists should insult citizens' sensibilities any further by saying that the "End would justify the means"!

As the ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) leader for 8 years, Tinubu has been part of Nigeria's problem in the PETROLEUM, POWER, ENERGY, EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE etc.!

At 70 Tinubu cannot claim ignorance of the FOUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MORIBUND REFINERIES that have been consuming humongous funds through all manner of phantom refurbishing that gulped millions of United State dollars in ILLICIT CONTRACTS!

Consecutive clueless political jobbers in Nigeria have reduced the fortunes of the VERY GOOD SOVEREIGN CITIZENS to multi-dimensional poverty status and the pseudo giant of Africa indexed as "POVERTY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD! Tinubu is not an exception - he is a FEUDAL TASKMASTER like his predecessor!

In his inaugural speech he said he would consult and dialogue but before he completed the entire charade, he became authoritative and spoke without empathy to the people whom he has vowed to SUCCOUR according to his avalanche of Manifesto promises!

It is not too late to reverse the error and meet LABOR AND TRADE UNION CONGRESS (TUC) for articulate, collective and very sensible bargaining that would work out meaningful PALLIATIVES for all 95% multi-dimensional poor masses and not some UNIDENTIFIABLE GHOST CITIZENS! The USD$800 million dollars World Bank Loan MUST be transparently handled by RIGHTEOUS CITIZENS to address the PETROLEUM SUBSIDY SCAM once and for all!

IF THE NEW SHERIFF HAD READ FROM HIS PREPARED SPEECH .....!!!

'Bola Ahmed Tinubu had a prepared speech but spoke extempore and he goofed! He tried to impress Nigerians that he was prepared for the enormous task ahead and not only that, but that he had all the qualities and the temerity to face the task and frontally put his Marshall Plan into operation from Day One.

A fresher politician would argue that two extant laws: The Financial Appropriation Act (2023) and the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) (2021), specifically stated that petroleum subsidy should be abrogated from August 2021, BUT not an old horse/Democrat of 'Bola Tinubu's caliber who had over three decades of political experience to his credit! He is aware of the democratic principle that LAW IS MADE FOR MAN AND NOT MAN FOR LAW; meaning that the leadership should be able to appropriate law with discretion to favor socio-economic engagements, maintain and sustain peaceful governance at all levels - especially in a diversified and populous country such as Nigeria!

President Bola Tinubu whom we have earlier highlighted in one of our

 recent Newsletters as A COMMITTED AND ADDICTED HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST during the MILITARY JUNTA joined others to protest the brutal activities of soldiers against democratic norms and with his NADECO PRESSURE GROUP DEFEATED THEM HANDS DOWN!

During his tenure as Lagos State Governor from 1999-2007, he was also able to defeat Army President, Olusegun obasanjo who tried to suppress his administration by denying it of Federal Allocations from the Federation Account.

 Tinubu was able to generate funds for the 20 Local Government Areas in addition to additional 32 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), for faster grassroots engagement.

In the long run he was able to prove that Obasanjo was high-handed and had no right to withhold any States allocation according to Section 162 subsection (4) and (5) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

BUT THIS TINUBU - THE NEW PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA - IS THE OPPOSITE OF THE NADECO CRUSADER OF RENOWN!

"The Central Bank must work towards a unified exchange rate. Interest rate must come down. Presently, it’s too high..anti-people and anti-business. We must work on that.

"The fuel Subsidy is gone. It is unjustifiable.....we shall rechannel the funds to education and healthcare ...;

"I have a message for all investors, foreign and local, our administration shall review all complaints regarding multiple taxation....;

“In our administration, women and youth shall feature prominently;

"Our administration will only govern you on your behalf, not rule over you....;

"Your mandate given to me is not misplaced. Hope is back in Nigeria, let's be united and enjoy the moment....."

1) Make categorical inaugural statement on the 29th May 2023 that you will set up a CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY to look into the massive demand for the restructuring of the Nigerian Federation with the drafting of UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUTION to pave way for a PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT.

2) Within your first THREE MONTHS in office you MUST establish all necessary platforms through which the PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM WILL WIND DOWN gradually for all political structures from the Federal through the States to the Local Government Areas to collapse seamlessly.

3) ON MONDAY 22nd OCTOBER 2023 A PRIME MINISTER FOR NIGERIA MUST BE SWORN IN TO ASSUME OFFICE

All of the above must be carried out diligently and with precision according to my instructions with a TEAM of dedicated PATRIOTS that I have already appointed for you even before the foundation of the world.

Buhari's twilight contracts and appointments have garnered negative public comments/outcries and continued to hit headlines of major newspapers in Nigeria and the Disapora, since he finally returned from his two-week visit to London for King Charles III Coronation and Dentist appointment, (3rd-16th, 2023), all at the Taxpayers doorstep! 

From the second week in May and up to the time of this publication (28-05-23), the array of headlines include but not limited to: 

1) Buhari leads governors into award of last-minute contracts. 

2) Buhari clears over 40 pending memos, appoints agency.

3) Last-minute contracts appointments: Buhari and governors. 

4) Buhari, governors with controversial contracts 

5) Buhari's Aviation Minister Sirika under fire over last minute appointments. 

6) Buhari's last-minute appointments, contracts will cause more damage to incoming government ; 

7) 19 Days to go, Buhari seeks fresh $800m World Bank Loan (8) Stop piling debts for incoming President, Govs, Anti- graft  Organisation tells Buhari, others, etc.

The Independent Newspaper front page publication of Sunday 28th May 2023, titled: "CACOL Cautions FG, Outgoing Govs On Last Minute Contracts, Appropriations' and credited to Ejikeme Omenazu, reported that Chairman of the NGO, Centre for Anti-corruption and Open Leadership, Mr. 'Debo Adeniran, expressed reservations at the flagrant manner outgoing administrations both at the Federal and State levels have been awarding contracts. The Chairman also disclosed that outgoing administrators of various administrations across geo-political zones had made appointments into sensitive positions and presented supplementary budgets almost at the eve of the expiration of their tenures! HE also condemned the recent actions by the outgoing officials, last-minute rush to award contracts, sign new laws and make new appointments into key positions without due process. 

CACOL accused the Federal government especially for announcing the award of multi-million naira contract for various ministries which amounted to a whopping sum of  NGN 327.34billion naira even at its 10th May 2023, weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC), Meeting.

Beneficiary Ministries include transportation, Sports, Aviation, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Works including ongoing projects, IRS buildings in Abuja and Port-Harcourt. The report claimed that out-going State Governors have awarded suspicious similar contracts and signed new bills into law! The outgoing Taraba State Governor Darius Ishiaku was said to have commissioned an uncompleted 500 Units Housing Estate for civil servants ( contracted since 2017) and paid upfront all bills connected to the "Estate" named after him! Previously, he was reported to have approved 2 billion naira for the purchase of cars for himself his deputy and their wives.

Delta State was not left out in the publication which claimed that the outgoing Governor Ifeanyi Okowa (and PDP's Vice Presidential Candidate at the February 2023 Presidential Elections), recently presented a NGN71 billion naira supplementary budget to the State House of Assembly, 14 days to the expiration of his two terms tenure. This supplementary budget was made up of NGN5.6 billion naira in Recurrent Expenditure and NGN65.5 billion naira in Capital Expenditure!

The Centre for Social Change and Democracy (CSD), has criticised the recent appointment spree in the Federal Ministry of Aviation by its Minister Captain Hadi Sirika. The centre alleged that the appointees are cronies of the minister who have no business occupying such positions. 

It also called for a thorough investigation of the appointments, employments, and awards of contract in the aviation sector insisting that the minister had to explain how funds budgeted for the Nigeria Air project were utilized.

In a statement signed by its Executive Director Edward Abakpa, the Center claimed the appointments are the last- ditch attempt by Sirika to reward his loyalists who will in turn sustain the corruption looting and high-handedness he allegedly entrenched in the aviation sector. Recall that Sirika recently approved the appointment of Kabir Yusuf Mohammed as the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). Sirika also named Engr A Tayib Odunowo as the substantive Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).

About 30 others were either handed fresh appointments or redeployed with just a few days to the end of Sirika's tenure as Minister.

Abakpa noted that the new FAAN and NAMA bosses are not qualified for the roles adding that they are beneficiaries of Sirika's power play. 

"Sirika negates the central mystique of the Buhari Administration, especially the anti-corruption fight. While the minister's shady skills aren’t new, they reached a new level with the new appointment, Abakpa claimed.

The Centre alleged that "Sirika is building obstacles and creating organizational confusion for the incoming administration. His actions have taken the ministry backwards. The minister's direct control resulted in transactional rather than functional operation of the agencies, thereby impeding their progress.

"Sirika through his micro-management activities has led to the current state of the sector.

 He has woefully failed in his duties and deserves a certificate for this. He must not cause further wreckage for 'Bola Tinubu.

"It is on this note that we are calling for a thorough investigation of those appointments, employment, awards of contracts and promotion within the aviation sector. Sirika must explain to the world how funds budgeted for the Nigeria Air project have been expended.

"He should also explain how his cronies got to the pinnacle of the aviation sector without the requisite qualifications. Failure by the Tinubu Government to probe these appointments will throw the country into monumental chaos and mark a return to the dark ages when the airwaves were unsafe for people to fly anywhere in the country."

HADI SIRIKA DISOBEYS COURT ORDER OVER "NIGERIA AIR" - EXIBITED HIGHEST FORM OF OFFICIAL IMPUNITY TO DEBUT AIR FLIGHT TO ABUJA - FRIDAY 26TH MAY 2023, WHILE BUHARI LOOKED THE OTHER WAY!

Outgoing Minister of Aviation Hadi sirika made sure his boast that Nigeria Air aircraft would be in the air before 29th May 2023, the departure date of himself and his boss in spite of the fact that there was a court injunction forbidding him to carry out such action. 

He made the disclosure "sub-judice" at the National Aviation Stakeholders Forum 2023 in Abuja on Thursday 23rd March 2023 in spite of the fact that all matters relating to the project were still in court and under litigation. 

The first aircraft of Nigeria Air landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Friday afternoon 26th May 20 23 and in a Tweet on that day Hadi Abu bakr Sirika said: "We are here. To Almighty God be all the glory. It has been a very long, tedious, daunting and difficult path. We thank everyone for the support. This by the will of God will be for us and generations to come. Ya Allah make it beneficial for our country and humanity."

WILL BUHARI ADMINISTRATION GET AWAY WITH THESE ASSAULTS ON THE PEOPLE AND THEIR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS?

Tinubu MUST "right all wrongs, reverse all the FIRE BRIGADE contracts, illegal contracts, spurious promotions etc, and set in motion the conducive political atmosphere for UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF HIS INAUGURATION ACCORDING TO DIVINE MANDATE!

Tinubu must not lose a life-time opportunity to redeem his image as an addicted Human Rights Activist and Crusader!
