All legislators of Nigeria’s National Assembly (NASS), are birds of a feather! They are united to further loot the crumbs of the Nation’s economy resources left behind after 30 years of Military interregnum! And so far, they have succeeded to mercilessly rob the Treasury Single Account (TSA), for 25 years through a deliberate Presidential System that was very injurious to the Citizens and have left the entire population of over 220 million people totally devastated!

Who says that Civilians were not privy to the entire process of drafting, vetting and subsequent approval of the 1999 Military Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which debuted a “Democratic Diarchy” headed by retired General Olusegun Obasanjo?

It was a perceived opportunity for them to have equal or more years to LOOT the National Treasury more than the Military!

If they pull through with their devious plan, President Bola Tinubu would be re-elected in 2027 to fulfil the constitutional two-term tenure by which time they (“Civilians”) would have also looted the TSA for 31 Consecutive Years!

BILL TO RETURN NIGERIA TO PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM SCALES SECOND READING AT HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES!

A bill seeking to return the country to a parliamentary system of government passed its second reading on the floor of the House of Representatives on Thursday, 27th March 2025. The bill was among 31 Constitution amendment bills passed for second reading at the plenary presided over by Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Okezie Kalu.

The proposed legislation, titled: “A Bill for an Act to Alter the Provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, to Provide for the Office of the Prime Minister as Head of Government and the Office of President as Head of State and to Provide for a Framework for the Mode of Election to the Said Offices and for Related Matters (HB.1115)”, is sponsored by the House Minority Leader, Kingsley Chinda, and 59 other lawmakers. If passed, the bill will replace the current presidential system with a parliamentary model, where executive powers will be vested in a Prime Minister elected by the legislature, while the President will serve as the ceremonial Head of State. Daily Trust reports that 60 members of the House of Representatives had on February 14, 2024 introduced three bills proposing alterations to the Nigerian Constitution 1999 (as amended) to transition from the current presidential system to the parliamentary system of government by 2031. The bills are the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (Alteration) Bill, 2024 (HB.1115); Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (Alteration) Bill, 2024 (HB.1116) and Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (Alteration) Bill, 2024 (HB.1117).

Briefing journalists after the introduction of the bills, the lawmakers said they came together across party affiliations and regional backgrounds to present the bills proposing constitutional alterations to pave the way for the transition of the system of government.

“Over the years, the imperfections of the presidential system of government have become glaring to all, despite several alterations to the constitution to address the shortcomings of a system that has denied the nation the opportunity of attaining its full potential. “Among these imperfections are the high cost of governance, leaving fewer resources for crucial areas like infrastructure, education and healthcare, and consequently hindering the nation’s development progress, and the excessive powers vested in the members of the executive, who are appointees and not directly accountable to the people. “That (parliamentary) was the governance system of the First Republic, a period when legislative and executive powers were exercised by the representatives of the people in parliament and in the executive, and by the nature of the system, these representatives were accountable to the people. For six years while it was in operation, the system worked for the country,” he said. The lawmakers had argued that the return of Nigeria to the parliamentary system would make government accountable, responsible, responsive, and ultimately less expensive.

In every annual budget the National Assembly usually allocated the sum of between NGN115 to 150 billion naira as their running costs and allowances but still complained that the amount was meagre.

 The 469 predators of the Nigerian economy in both the Red and Green Chambers have annually inflated budgeting figures. By cornering for themselves large chunk of annual budgets through selfish demands for exotic vehicles, unconstitutional outrageous allowances outside of annual salaries as stipulated by Revenue Mobilization Agency for Fiscal Allocation in the following categories:

Monthly. Working allowances of NGN3.5 million naira each in addition to 15 other allowances gulping from between 10 to 400% of their SECRET Basic  Salaries? With this new development now, it is very imperative that the NIGERIAN SENATE MUST BE SHUT DOWN for the downtrodden masses to be taken out of SELF-INFLICTED POVERTY!

 

The 9TH National Assembly previously. Mooted the same idea but it turned out to be a HOAX! At that time, over 70 Senators and their counterparts from the House of Representatives spear headed a similar document as this 2025 Model but it died on arrival!

 But now that the campaign to dump presidential system of government for a unicameral parliamentary system has gained some attention it is meet and proper for the generality of all Citizens to have facts at figures to compare and contrast:

1. Unicameral or A One House System Of Government is a RESPONSIBLE GOVERNMENT.

2. It is COST-FRIENDLY, COST-EFFECTIVE because Legislative Aspirants would not campaign across the entire country, but within their locality which are their CONSTITUENCIES.

3. Successfully elected parliamentarians would appoint from among themselves their leaders while the Party with the majority votes WILL PRODUCE THE PRIME MINISTER who becomes the head of government.

4. In a unicameral legislature, there are two executive posts, namely the Prime Minister which is the REAL EXECUTIVE and the CEREMONIAL and the CEREMONIAL EXECUTIVE who serves as figurative Head of State and concurs with cabinet activities as obtained when Nigeria became a Republic between 1963 and 1966.

5. At that time the first Prime Minister of Nigeria was Alhaji Tafara Balewa while the Ceremonial President was Dr. Nnamdi  Azikiwe.

6. Daily proceedings and activities of the Cabinet were not run on the pages of newspapers or media networks like in the presidential system where they employ such strategy to gain publicity and divert public attention from real issues of persistent squandermania!

7. In the parliamentary system, the Day-to-day cabinet proceedings of government at appropriate times are disseminated by the Prime Minister or any designated Minister of the cabinet.

8. Unlike the presidential system there is no specific tenure of office for the Prime Minister as he/she remains in office for as long as he/she performs creditably. It could be tenure of ONE MONTH, THREE MONTHS, ONE YEAR, THREE YEARS as the case may be. It could even be ELEVEN YEARS like the IRON LADY, Late MARGARET THATCHER, 1979 to 1990! 

9. The executive Prime Minister, who is a product of the legislative. Is responsible to the legislators, his colleagues and parliamentarians, with whom he shares a collective responsibility of the whole Council, because he and his ministers are elected from among other members of Parliament. (always addressed addressed as the Lower House, or in Britain as the House of Commons because the so-called common but very efficient citizens who dwell among their peers are able to run efficient and effective governments.

10. Towards the close of the last quarter of 2021, the British government encouraged its citizens to apply for loans that attracted only one digit interest to purchase personal houses because the government had a DEEP VAULT  since its Treasury had not been continually looted like what we have in the Presidential System  of Nigeria setting since 1999!

11. In a parliamentary system of government, a Prime Minister could resign at any time of his/hér tenure to avoid being kicked out through a vote of no confidence.

CONCLUSION:

Before this Bill being flaunted by the House of Representatives goes into THIRD AND  FINAL READING, that idea of its implementation from 2031  MUST BE QUICKLY DELETED, CANCELLED, EXPUNGED!

 It is very, very, glaring that these so-called representatives of the people are after their own pockets and what they could still amass through borrowing and become BILLIONAIRES BEFORE 2031!

 QUESTION: What is wrong If Bola Tinubu becomes a ceremonial president in 2027. When the new Bill for parliamentary system will come into existence through the new Constitution?

 There will be no more avenue for stealing or looting in Nigeria. 

AND NOW THAT. MR. TINUBU HIMSELF HAS STAGED A MILITARY COUP IN RIVERS STATE, NIGERIA THEN ALL LOOTERS MUST BE READY TO FACE FIRING SQUAD!

ONE BLUNDER TOO MANY – TINUBU IS A “GONNA”!

Was the clamping down of State of Emergency on Rivers State the only option open to President Bola Tinubu to resolve the political lock jam in that Oil Rich Delta Region of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? Of course not!

But in his agitated mind, that move was strategic to “win” Rivers State in 2027 through Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesome Wike who boasted that Heaven would not fall if his predecessor was IMPEACHED!

For his inappropriate decision Tinubu has run foul of the, 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

Chapter 8 Part 2 Section 305(1)(2)(3)(d), which he predicated his action upon does not stipulate SUSPENSION OR REMOVAL OF DULY ELECTED OFFICERS OF BOTH THE LEGISLATURE AND THE EXECUTIVE FROM OFFICE!

 The combined Provisions of Sections 1(2), 14(1)(c),176(1)(2), and 305(1) of the Nigerian Constitution create a delicate balance of rights and responsibilities, ensuring that the exercise of presidential power does not override the people’s right to participate in their own governance.

Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka says President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers state betrays the spirit of federalism.

Soyinka said the Nigerian constitution gives the president too much powers.

Commenting on the legality of the declaration, Soyinka said there is a need to amend some sections of the constitution.

He also said it is debatable if the move was a wise one.

Ex-President Jonathan also noted that a country’s international standing and the investments it could attract depended on its leaders’ positive actions in advancing democracy and good governance.

In 2013 while in power, Jonathan declared a state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, without suspending the political leadership of the states.

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) filed a lawsuit against President Bola Tinubu over what it describes as the unlawful suspension of Rivers State Governor, his deputy, and members of the state’s House of Assembly.

The action, Initiated at the Federal High Court in Abuja, seeks to challenge the president’s decision for declaring a state of emergency in the state.

The Group says suspension violates Nigerian constitution and international law.

TINUBU IS RIGHT SAYS PRESIDENCY!

But the Presidency has countered former President Goodluck Jonathan and Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka over their strong criticisms of the state of emergency declared in Rivers State by President Bola Tinubu.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, dismissed their comments as personal opinions, asserting that Tinubu acted within his constitutional mandate in the face of escalating violence in the state.

 WE of the Editorial Board of the Zion B-BC NEWSLETTER and other well-meaning Nigerians advised President Tinubu to invite the two warring parties and to broker Peace as their GOD GRANDFATHER!

Nyesome Wike, former Rivers State Governor in spite of his juicy appointment as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), from 2023 kept inhibiting his predecessor from freely running State affairs!

The feud according to reliable sources had to do with the new governor’s deliberate failure to honor the gentleman’s “50-50” agreement sharing formula of all political appointments!

 But Mr. Tinubu in his usual stubborn manner did not listen because he was both complicit and partisan!

Going down the memory lane, Wike in 2023 promised to deliver all Rivers State votes to Tinubu during the months of campaign for presidential election though he was a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governor to ensure his (Tinubu’s ), victory in the South -South Geo-political Zone.

On assumption of office as President, Tinubu rewarded Wike, an opposition party member with a ministerial post

 

Even though Tinubu gave Wike a free hand to perform his ministerial duties, Wike on the other hand pressurized his predecessor to divide the largesse of office in two equal halves!

 From 29th May 2023 to date there had not been peace in Rivers State. Majority of the. PDP Members of the State Assembly loyal to the former governor jumped ship and crossed into the ruling All progressive. Congress (APC) to which Wike is loyal.

UNCONSTITUTIONAL DECLARATION OF STATE OF EMERGENCY!

Excerpts of the State House, Abuja Press Release in which President Bola Tinubu declared “State of Emergency” in Rivers State on Tuesday 18 March 2025.

“Fellow Nigerians, I feel greatly disturbed at the turn we have come to regarding the political crisis in Rivers State. Like many of you, I have watched with concern the development with the hope that the parties involved would allow good sense to prevail at the soonest, but all that hope burned out without any solution to the crisis.

“On February 28, 2025, the Supreme Court in a judgment in respect of about eight consolidated appeals concerning the political crisis in Rivers State, based on several grave unconstitutional acts and disregard of rule of law that have been committed by the Governor of Rivers State as shown by the evidence before it pronounced in very clear terms: “a government cannot be said to exist without one of the three arms that make up the government of a state under the 1999 Constitution as amended. In this case the head of the executive arm of the government has chosen to collapse the legislature to enable him to govern without the legislature as a despot. As it is there is no government in Rivers State.”

 “In the circumstance, having soberly reflected on and evaluated the political situation in Rivers State and the Governor and Deputy Governor of Rivers State having failed to make a request to me as President to issue this proclamation as required by section 305(5) of the 1999 Constitution as amended, it has become inevitably compelling for me to invoke the provision of section 305 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended, to declare a state of emergency in Rivers State with effect from today, 18th March, 2025 and I so do.

“By this declaration, the Governor of Rivers State, Mr Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, Mrs Ngozi Odu and all elected members of the House of Assembly of Rivers State are hereby suspended for an initial period of six months.

“In the meantime, I hereby nominate Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas (Rtd) as Administrator to take charge of the affairs of the state in the interest of the good people of Rivers State. For the avoidance of doubt, this declaration does not affect the judicial arm of Rivers State, which shall continue to function in accordance with their constitutional mandate.” (Does Tinubu’s action not tantamount to a MILITARY COUP D’ETAT against Rivers State Government?

COMMENTS.

This declaration has been published in the Federal Gazette, a copy of which has been forwarded to the National Assembly in accordance Constitutional provisions and both Chambers have ratified the Illegality through very ridiculous processes when they could not form the two third majority quorum!

The House of Representative Speaker shouted down opposition while his Senate counterpart passed the ILLEGALITY through Voice Vote! (Can voice vote be counted? Who is MORE CULPABLE, FUBARA OR TINUBU?)

COURT STOPS SOLE ADMINISTRATOR FROM RESUMING DUTY IN RIVERS STATE!

The State High Court, Justice Danagogo, in Port Harcourt has granted an order preventing the Sole Administrator from resuming his duties in Rivers State pending the determination of the substantive suit and urged all parties to maintain the status quo.

Since his investiture as President in 2023, Tinubu has been emersed in multiple controversies which border on POLICY SOMERSAULTS but his handlers always covered up OLD LIES WITH FRESH LIES !

 For how long will this Vicious Cycle Continue? Whatever has a beginning Will surely have an end!

TINUBU SHOULD NOT GAMBLE INNOCENT LIVES FOR 2027 AMBITION!

Must President Bola Tinubu always look the other way for his ubiquitous and cantankerous Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesome Wike to set Rivers State on FIRE provided such move would consolidate another “victory” for him at the 2027 Presidential Election in spite of his abysmal socio-economic failure in twenty months?

He says he tried privately and publicly to forge peace, told leaders of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) to go back home and work for peace, in compliance with the rule of law. 

From the onset when Wike introduced the godfather conundrum into the Rivers politics, Mr Tinubu was conspicuously sided with his Minister who was opposed by a larger population of the State Citizens.

The political crisis rocking Rivers State, took another dimension after his successor Sim Fubara, was denied access to the temporary legislative quarters, where the Martins Amaewhule -led lawmakers’ hold their meetings.

It should be recalled that the 27-member Amaewhule-led lawmakers, fanatically loyal to Wike and now  recognized by the Supreme Court, initially defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)! 

Fubara was at the premises to present the 2025 Rivers State budget, as mandated by a Supreme Court judgment and speaking at the scene, the governor said he had formally contacted the Speaker and other lawmakers but received no response.

And Wike who was former Rivers State Governor during a media interview on Wednesday 12th March 2025, suggested that Governor Fubara should be impeached if found wanting, stating that impeachment was not a criminal offense and criticized the current state of the Rivers  government!

The Niger Delta Region is the ecological zone which crude oil and gas revenues significantly contribute to the national economy, accounting for a substantial portion of government revenue and foreign exchange earnings at times up 80-90 per cent in which Rivers State is conspicuously ahead of others.

In 2023, Nigeria’s oil revenue saw a significant increase, rising by 83%; it exported $43.5 billion in crude petroleum, with the main destinations being the United States, France, Netherlands, Spain, and Indonesia. 

RUSH FOR RIVERS OIL WEALTH!

In spite of the fact that the All  Progressives Congress (APC), Government has woefully drowned the Nigerian economy in the last 10 years, failed politicians from Opposition Parties are shamelessly jumping ship into its platform to strategize for 2027, because that is where the INSTITUTIONAL CORRUPTION thrives!

 

And whereas all economic indices point to the fact that nothing has worked positively for the country since President Tinubu unilaterally remove petroleum subsidy, merged both the official and parallel foreign exchange rates for the naira to find it’s level. In the international market!

 Chicago Accountant, Mr. Tinubu was totally uninformed that a nation’s currency could only thrive in a volatile global economic market if it’s industries and all production lines are on full steam but his Economic Advisors covered up by publishing false figures of progress to deceive the Citizens that government was on course!

 However, Nigeria is blessed with great economic analysts and other professionals who had always debunked all institutional falsehoods to shed light on the true perspectives.

For those looking forward to 2027 in order to further loot The Treasury, they should think twice because no amount of GANGUP would  stop the enactment of a new Parliamentary Constitution that will totally erase the Presidential System and block all channels of endemic corruption of 65 years of the nascent democracy!¹

 Nigeria is a country in total debt and Mr. Tinubu believed that the only option out of the quagmire was to continue to tax the people the more through THE NEW TAX REFORM BILLS which had garnered massive opposition from the Citizens!

But, the House of Representatives has quietly passed the FOUR CONTROVERSIAL. TAX. REFORM BILLS without public attraction for the sole purpose of adding more pains and hardships to the current plight of the DOWNTRODDEN and it’s only a matter of time before the Senate would follow suit!

QUESTIONS:

Were electricity tariffs not hurriedly passed into law and now both the poor and the rich currently pay the outrageous “Band A Tariffs” as WE predicted?

WE assert once again that the motive behind the introduction of the Four Tax Reform Bills was nationalistic BUT NOT PLAUSIBLE in the current very corrupt Tinubu’s APC Presidential Administration!

THE FOUR BILLS SHOULD STILL BE PUT ON HOLD UNTIL MR TINUBU SUBMITS THE (ONE HOUSE) UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUTION BILLS TO BE PASSED WITH POPULAR REFERENDUM AS DEMANDED BY THE CITIZENS AND THE PATRIOTS ON 4TH AUGUST 2024!

President Tinubu should be haunted by the BLOOD of all innocent YOUTHS who were gunned down in August 2024 for protesting AGAINST BAD GOVERNANCE!

Has he forgotten that institutional corruption cannot give birth to a righteous government?

In his One year and 10 months in government the entire direction of the economy is in the woods because CORRUPTION HAS ENTRENCHED CRIMES AND CRIMINALITIES which have been the albatross against any progress!

SENATOR NATASHA – THE DOGGED KOGI AMAZON  WILL WIN AKPABIO HANDS DOWN!

In the November 2019 Kogi State Gubernatorial Election that confirmed the second bid of Yahaya Bello as Governor, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti was the female Social Democratic Party Candidate in that contest! The entire political temperature in the build- up to, and during that election that took place on Saturday 16th November was outrageously hostile to Natasha and her Party!

In Our Zion B-BC Newsletter, Volume 8. No.327 of 17th November 2019, titled: “WHO’S AFRAID OF NATASHA – THE INDOMITABLE AMAZON OF KOGI?”; We unequivocally condemned all acts of harassment, intimidation and the orchestrated assault meted to that only female Candidate in the election! In 2023, when she decided to run for a Senate position to represent Kogi Central, she faced similar vilification through diabolical machinations of Bello’s Administration but pulled through! Now it is the turn of Mr. Godswill Akpabio to demand “a pound of flesh” by way of   “alleged sexual harassment”? Godswill Akpabio was the “Very Common Women-Friendly Governor” of Akwa Ibom State who held sway 2007-2015, enjoyed immense immunity  and thereafter  had a four year stint at the Nigerian Senate representing his State’s North West District 2015-2019. He jumped ship from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Federal level, got a job in 2020 as Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

JOY NUNIEH’S  ALLEGATION OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT AGAINST AKPABIO!

On July 13, 2020, Joy Nunieh, a former Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), alleged that she slapped Godswill Akpabio for sexually harassing her.

Nunieh made the allegation during an interview on Arise TV. Akpabio, the incumbent Senate President, was minister of Niger Delta affairs at the time. During the interview, Nunieh said the incident occurred at Akpabio’s Guest House in Abuja. The Ex-Acting MD had said her reaction to the harassment proved her intolerance for “nonsense” as a woman from Rivers state. Akpabio had denied the allegation through a statement issued by his media aide.

AKPABIO ALSO DENIED NATASHA’S ALLEGATIONS AND HAS SUSPENDED HER FOR SIX MONTHS!

But the Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, will challenge in court the six-month suspension slammed on her following her face-off with the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, over SEATING ARRANGEMENTS in the RED CHAMBER. Her legal counsel Mr. Victor Giwa, dismissed the Senate resolution as a violation of a court order while The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), and opposition parties similarly berated the red chamber for not giving Akpoti-Uduaghan ample time to present her sexual harassment complaint against Akpabio. The Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges acted in violation of a court order that allegedly restrained it from taking further action on the matter pending the determination of a motion on notice. The suspension is therefore illegal, null, void and of no effect because there is a court order that restrained the Committee from taking further action. THE UNETHICAL ETHICS COMMITTEE disobeyed a valid court order that was served on them, and has put the SENATE into great disrepute!

Natasha’s Counsel said fresh petition would be filed in court to seek redress for the embattled Legislator. He further said that the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria supersedes the Senate Standing Orders, adding that every citizen had the right to seek redress in court when their civil rights are breached. “Section 6, subsection 6 of the Constitution grants every citizen the right to seek redress when their civil rights are violated.” He further said that Senator Natasha has complied because her suspension is an attempt to silence her for alleging wrongdoing against the Senate President, which amounts to a breach of her right to a fair hearing.

THE DRACONIAN “SENTENCE” ON NATASHA!

The Senate imposed a six-month suspension on the lawmaker without pay over what it called the breach of its Standing Orders following her claim of sexual harassment, an allegation that Akpabio denied.

In an earlier interview with Arise Television on February 28, 2025, the Kogi Senator, who made headlines the previous week after a public dispute with the Senate President over seating arrangements in the Senate, accused Akpabio of making sexual advances towards her. Her sexual harassment complaint was referred to a 14-Man Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions for disciplinary review, which later recommended her suspension.

The seven-point recommendations are as follows:

1. That the Senate do suspend Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for six months for her total violation of Senate standing rules, bringing the presiding officer and the entire Senate to public opprobrium.

2. That for the Senate to consider lifting or reducing the duration of the suspension, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan shall submit a written apology to the Senate before reconsideration.

3. That the Senate suspends Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan with effect from March 6, 2025, from all legislative activities.

4. That her office be locked up for the duration of her suspension and that she hands over all Senate properties in her possession to the Clerk of the National

5. That for the duration of her suspension, she must not be seen within the vicinity of the Senate or the National Assembly, including her staff.

6. That her salaries and allowances, including those of her legislative aides, be suspended, and that all security details assigned to her be withdrawn for the period of her suspension.

7. That during her suspension, she be barred from representing herself locally and internationally as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

THE SENATE MUST BE SCRAPPED TO PAVE WAY FOR THE UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUTION FOR NATION BUILDERS !

What other proofs do the CITIZENS need to conclude that the Senate has been the very WASTEFUL INVESTMENT OF THE NIGERIAN PROJECT from 1999 to date!

*Nigerian Senators live larger than life and the President addresses himself as the Senate Landlord!

*The Senate flouts the Constitution by: 

 (a) Fixing it’s own salaries, allowances etc, contrary to the constitutional provision that mandates only Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), should fix such remunerations for all Tiers, including Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAS), of the Federal Government.

(b) Regularly padding (inflating), all annual Federal Government Budgets with BILLIONS OF NAIRA at their whims and caprices and always getting away with such brazen robbery of the Treasury Single Account (TSA)!

(c) Individual collection of CONSTITUENCIES ALLOCATIONS and “executing” such CONTRACTS personally!

(d) Suspending “erring” Legislators contrary to the Constitution and flagrantly disobeying lawful court orders!

(e) Seven Senators before Natasha had been suspended and in spite of the fact that such abuse of power had been reversed, the leadership seems to be deaf of hearing and understanding!

 The ball is the court of President Bola Tinubu if any of his muddled economic reforms would come to fruition BUT time is not on his side!! He has between now and 29th May 2025, to make the bold move as demanded by all well-meaning Nigerians. 

NATASHA AKPOTI UDUAGHAN WILL WIN AT THE COURTS AND MR. SENATE LANDLORD WILL BE CAST OUT INTO THE OBLIVION OF HISTORY!

IBRAHIM BADAMOSI BABANGIDA (IBB), WILL FACE THE LAW OF RETRIBUTIVE JUSTICE!

The Word of God in the Book of Revelation 13:10, King James Version says “He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: He that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword” but exhorts God’s people to be patient and faithful in the face of tribulation and oppression for the LAW OF RETRIBUTIVE JUSTICE to prevail against the Wicked!

 This Scripture describes the actions of the Antichrist, the first Beast of that Chapter of the Bible as callous and despicable but emphasized that those who perpetrate evil would surely reap same. In Islam, “The Law of Retribution” is known as QISAS, which essentially means “retaliation”. (Quran. 5:45).

Babangida assumed the role of that Beast of the End Time who forced obedience to his authority, enslaved people who opposed him and even killed many who refused to bow to him but will eventually paid for all his crimes through the LAW OF RETRIBUTION!

Ultimately, God will take the Beast (Antichrist) captive and slay him! (Rev 19:20-21)!

Babangida {now 83), the retired Army General who was dubbed “Evil Genius” by the oppressed Citizens of Nigeria during  Three Decades of Military Dictatorship in Nigeria before the turn of the 20th Century, committed multiple heinous crimes against Nigerians between 1985-1993 (in his reign of terror), as a self-styled Military President!

Now troubled by his Conscience (32 years out of power), has confessed to an avalanche of crimes against humanity in a documented Memoir titled, “A Journey In Service”!

And he is being celebrated instead of being handcuffed and taken before the International Criminal Court, at the Hague, Netherlands, to be formally charged for various crimes against humanity and prosecuted for having criminally violated Section 2 of the First Republican Constitution which states that, “The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall not be governed, nor shall any persons or group of persons take control of the Government of Nigeria or any part thereof, except in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution.”

BABANGIDA was an addicted COUP PLOTTER who had been involved in violating the Sacred Tenets of the Nigerian Constitution from July 1966!

At his departure in1993, he said he would  only “step aside” because he was yet to accomplish his assignment in government!

He forgot very quickly that he reneged severally on hand-over dates and earned himself the sobriquet “Maradona”, the legend Argentine football dribbler of the 80s!

And true to his selfish agenda, Babangida shamelessly in September 2010, officially declared his intention to run for the presidency in the 2011 elections but was later urged by his military inner circle to withdraw his candidacy after the October 2010 Abuja bombing!

WHAT IS THE INTERPRETATION OF DIVERSITY IN NIGERIA?

It is a general consensus that diversity or variety - the practice or quality of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, orientations, etc, together; should serve as catalyst for an enduring unity for collective progress as a country or an entity.

Unity in diversity is a popular cliché in Nigeria BUT INSTITUTIONAL CORRUPTION is the only factor that unites the leaders at all levels of government from Presidency to the States/Local Governments Executive and Legislature!

The Babangida-made Political Billionaires and Moneybags featured prominently at his Book Launch of Thursday 20th February 2025 in Abuja Nigeria, and the occasion was celebrated with fun and fanfare with other discredited past/present political leaders - all united under the UMBRELLA OF INSTITUTIONAL CORRUPTION!

And at the end of the show of shame, a humongous sum of NGN17.5BILLION NAIRA was realized as PROCEEDS TO “BUILD A PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY” IN MINNA, NIGER STATE, for IBB after 32 years out of office by those who confessed that HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR POLITICAL SUCCESS AND OPULENCE IN LIFE!

Who says IBB is not completely BROKE NOW? And whereas there was an OIL WINDFALL of USD$12.4 billion US dollars, which accrued to Nigeria in the year 1990 and which he allegedly embezzled! 

Magazine Forbes assumed in 2011 that shortly before the Second Gulf War Babangida channeled US$12 billion of unplanned profits (“oil windfall”) into his own pocket (the oil price jumped from US$15/barrel to US$41.15/barrel within weeks in 1990 and then crashed almost as quickly to the old value).Wikipedia.

There was also “The Okigbo Panel report” which revealed that $12.4bn passed through the account, with $12.2bn allegedly spent on non-regenerative projects deemed non-beneficial to the Nigerian economy!

CONVIVIALITY AND CAMARADERIE OF BOOT- LICKERS AT IBB’S SINFUL CONFESSIONS!

The Book Launch event WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PRIVATE AFFAIR OF THE “EVIL GENIUS” AND HIS COHORTS, hosted all past Military Heads of State and their civilian counterparts except retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari, and they TRIVIALIZED the following atrocities perpetrated during Babangida’s dictatorship in government and some of which were documented in his Memoir as follows:

1) Annulment of the results of the June 12 1993 Presidential elections won by late Chief M.K.O. Abiola and which was adjudged as the most credible in the annals of Nigeria’s political history but which according to him was cancelled by late General Sani Abacha, his Defense Chief of Staff without his permission!

2) In his book, he has now accepted full responsibility for the annulment because it happened under his watch but he did not show any remorse nor did he apologize to any relatives of the dead or living Nigerians whom soldiers summarily executed for protesting against the annulment!

3) He could not explain the circumstances surrounding the death of popular journalist, Mr. Dele Giwa, who was killed through a letter parcel bomb believed to have been forwarded to him from IBB’s Office!

4) The heartless execution of Major General Maman Vatsa, his childhood friend and best man at his marriage for an alleged involvement in a coup plot to overthrow his government!

5) It was Babangida, who during his eight-year tenure that INSTITUTIONALIZED CORRUPTION through a system of “BRIBE SETTLEMENT” to silence all opposition to his military junta!

6) His Minna Hilltop Residence has been turned into a “Mecca” of sort for political charlatans who must remain permanently in office THROUGH HIS ENDORSEMENT!

7) All beneficiaries of his very corrupt military junta applauded with resounding clapping as he read out from a prepared speech, details of his very cruel and sadistic military excesses over the downtrodden and hapless CITIZENS OF NIGERIA!

Although Moshood Abiola, whom many believed won election was imprisoned and his wife assassinated but it is now in his Memoir, that Babangida has admitted that TRUTH! Abiola died in suspicious circumstances in 1998 and Babangida now says, “That accident of history was the most regrettable. The nation was entitled to expect my expression of regret!”

SHOULD IBB NOT HAVE BEEN WHEELED TO THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT IN THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS, TO FACE CHARGES IN RESPECT OF ALL HIS GUILT INSTEAD OF BEING CELEBRATED?

Babangida has insulted the sensibilities of all Nigerians and would be made to pay for his multiple crimes against humanity!

 President Tinubu should do the needful by instructing the Attorney General of the Federation and his team of lawyers to take necessary action against this SADIST called Babangida! Human Rights Activist and Legal Luminary, Chief Femi Falana is already in the lead of those who will SUE BABANGIDA for unlawful incarceration, assault, deprivation of fundamental rights, extra-judicial murder of their loved ones etc!

 

Can the BOOK LAUNCH and all belated apologies wipe away the sorrows and the anguish connected to the June 12th  1993 trauma that wasted the lives of not less than 1,876 protesters?

 TINUBU SHOULD ALSO  BEGIN  THE PROCESS FOR THE ONE HOUSE, UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUTION TO BE ENACTED THROUGH REFERENDUM AS DEMANDED BY THE CITIZENS AND ALL NIGERIAN PATRIOTS IN ORDER TO CORRECT THE EXCESSES OF THE DESTRUCTIVE AND WASTEFUL PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM THAT BABANGIDA COVETED AS A SOLDIER AND PERISHED WITH IT!
