INEC'S SHOCKING POSTPONEMENT OF 2019 ELECTIONS IS A DIVINE INTERVENTION!

With all the assurances and convictions from INEC Chairman, Prof. Yakubu Mahmood, to conduct a flawless 2019 General Elections, no Nigerian politician in his/her wildest imagination would expect a postponement at dawn -  few hours to commencement of the Presidential and National Assembly polls - slated for Saturday 16th February, 2019, from 08.00 hrs!

Who could have faulted the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC'S), preparations enumerated with 14 itemized agenda by the umpire since 9th January 2018, and which were meticulously and painstakingly executed, one after the other until the wee hours of the D - DAY, when the shocking but "inevitable" decision of postponement due to logistics/weather challenges, by one week each of the two sets of elections, was announced at exactly 02.44am!

Except for concerned citizens and professional politicians who held vigil on internet/electronic media all night, the masses of the Electorate were sound asleep and oblivious to the sudden/dramatic U - TURN, OR VOLTE FACE of Mr. Umpire who announced two fresh dates of Saturday 23rd February, and Saturday 9th March, 2019, for the Presidential/National Assembly (NASS), and Gubernatorial/State Houses of Assembly/FCT Area Council Elections, respectively, only to wake up as if from a bad dream to the realization that they the election had been postponed and that they had been temporarily robbed of their voting franchise including their daily incomes for Saturday, 16th, February, 2019!
WHO WILL COMPENSATE THEIR LOSES - ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO TRAVELLED TO THEIR HOME STATES WHERE THEY WERE REGISTERED?

SABOTAGE AGAINST INEC?
Sabotage by desperate politicians cannot be ruled out in view of the following bizarre occurrences before the postponement! INEC facilities in PLATEAU, where the entire office was torched and thousands of PVCS, Ballot Boxes, and election papers were destroyed; ABIA, where PVCS/Election materials were also burnt and in ANAMBRA, where the most devastating sabotage, was the destruction of over 4,600 Smart Card Readers which would normally take six months to procure, including other election materials store in a well- secured STEEL CONTAINER - all within TWO WEEKS! Faced with these challenges INEC was constrained to adjust the election dates to avoid STAGGERED ELECTIONS!

Apart from these direct affront against the INEC, there were insecurity issues in Kaduna and Bornu States which recorded human and material casualties on Friday 15th and Saturday, 16th February, 2019, respectively due to gunmen and suicide bomb attacks by insurgents/terrorists!

However, in a national broadcast later on the postponed D - DAY, Prof. Mahmood said that his Commission quickly recovered from all the challenges with a view to ensuring that the held as scheduled, but to no avail. He regretted all the inconveniencies suffered by all and sundry and accepted full responsibility for the failure!
HE UNEQUIVOCALLY STATED THAT THE POSTPONMENT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH SECURITY, POLITICAL INFLUENCE OR AVAILABILITY OF RESOURCES!

DID INEC CHAIRMAN POSSESS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO UNILATERALLY POSTPONE ELECTIONS?
According to the 2010 Electoral Act, as amended, Section 26 (1); INEC as the independent umpire over all Nigerian elections, has exclusive constitutional rights/authority to exercise all legal powers in the conduct of elections, including the right to postpone such elections in cases of the possibility of serious breach of peace, natural disaster or other emergencies provided that such reason was cogent and verifiable! The 02.44am postponement by INEC's Chairman, was done after diligent consultations and review with his twelve federal commissioners according to his account of stewardship.
During an interactive session with political stakeholders at the International Conference Centre, the elections final collation venue, on the afternoon of Saturday, 16th February, 2019, the Chairman re-emphasized that the logistic constraint had to do with the air-lifting of highly sensitive materials to far-flung local government areas so that elections could commence simultaneously at 08.00am across the country, but that ill weather prevailed against the plan!
He categorically stated that the new 23rd February, 2019 date, was sacrosanct and that no one should exercise any further fear of another postponement, adding that sensitive materials that were already in circulation would be recovered and re-certified! He assured all Nigerians of the unflinching integrity/loyalty of his management team, with an emphasis that the Commission would not play anyone's SCRIPT!

THERE WAS A POSTPONMENT OF ELECTIONS IN 2011 & 2015 - YES!
In the preparations toward the 2011 & 2015 General Elections, various logistic challenges also cropped up but that of 2015, emanated from the ruling government of Ebele Jonathan over the issue of INSECURITY which topped the list and he wasted no time to announce a rather long postponement through the then National Security Adviser, retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki, presently being prosecuted for fraud and embezzlement of USD $2.1 billion dollars earmarked for the purchase of arms to prosecute the Boko Haram insurgency!

THE SEVEN-DAY WINDOW OF DIVINE PERFECTION!
Before the postponement, allegations of possible disruption of polls by the main opposition party and its allies rent the air through various publications by members of the PRESS on print, internet and electronic media, that Foreign Mercenaries/Boko Haram Terrorist were being contracted and funded to unleash mayhem before, during and after Saturday, 16th February, 2019. It was also alleged that billions of US dollars had exchanged hands to ensure that the rigging plan by the opposition was "fait accompli" because they completely FORGOT THE DIVINE FACTOR IN THE AFFAIRS OF MEN!

The freshly-released HARMATTAN HAZE, the FOGGY HIGHWAYS and the unusually CLOUDY AIR SPACE that grounded THE AIRCRAFTS AND THE LONG-HAULAGE ARTICULATED VEHICLES, DESIGNATED TO TRANSPORT ALL ELECTORAL MATERIALS for about a WEEK, were all of the DIVINE PLAN to frustrate the EVIL MACHINATIONS of the carnal/desperate, power-monger Nigerian politicians and disgrace them out of the RACE! That was why the sudden, shocking announcement of postponement by INEC, just few hours to commencement of the national polls, at 08.00 hours was beyond HUMAN COMPREHENSION!

There is no doubt that the ALMIGHTY GOD Has again intervened in the affairs of Nigeria, Has destroyed principalities and powers in high places, destabilized their chariots and horses, Has completely ruined their illicit financial resource base AND they are now counting their losses! THE LORD HAS BROKEN THEIR GATES OF BRASS, CUT THEIR BARS OF IRON ASUNDER AND HAS GIVEN VICTORY TO HIS ANOINTED MUHAMMADU BUHARI IN SPITE OF THE POSTPONMENT ACCORDING TO THE 2014 PROPHECY OF TWO TERMS - 2015 - 2023, BY THE SERVANT OF GOD IN ZION!
In spite of the long postponement of about six weeks in 2015, by the PDP ruling administration, BUHARI won the contest convincingly, he will do it again!

Mon. (18-02-19), Completion and deployment of electoral materials;
Complete configuration of Smart Card Readers (Sun.17-Thurs. 21-02-19);
Receipt and deployment of Sensitive Election Materials to Local Government Areas (Wed. 20-Thurs. 21-02-2019);
Refresher Training for Ad Hoc Staff, (Thurs.21-02-19);
Deployment of all Sensitive Materials to their designated registration areas of assignment, (Friday, 22-02-19; and
NEW ELECTION DAY, SATURDAY (23-0219)! "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" (Rom.8:31).

IMMUNITY CLAUSE IS A TOOL FOR POLITICAL LICENTIOUSNESS FOR GOVS. EL RUFAI AND NYESOME WIKE!

Of the 200 million un-official figure of Nigeria's population, only 74 serving government officials are constitutionally granted immunity against any form of litigations in their official capacities! According to Section 308 (1) (a-c) (2) and (3) in summary: "no civil or criminal proceedings shall be instituted or continued against the person to whom this section applies during his period of office." Such person can neither be arrested nor imprisoned during such period either in pursuance of the process of any court or otherwise required or be compelled, to appear to answer to any charges, while functioning as PRESIDENT, VICE-PRESIDENT, GOVERNOR AND DEPUTY GOVERNOR, but did the drafters/crafters of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria envisage that such exclusive immunity cover could be licentiously abused by highly-placed/highly-revered government functionaries?

In fact, some past Presidents and especially several past and serving Governors, had desecrated the lofty ideals and sacredness of their offices through unguarded/divisive utterances that had and are still capable of incensing or inflaming feeble/idle minds to fury, destruction, carnage, etc.

HATE/INCITING SPEECHES are criminal acts in Nigeria's Statutes, because they could incense civil disturbances, disobedience, riotings, cultural disharmony, insurgency or even, terrorism, but do the Nigerian beneficiaries cherish or appreciate the enormous respect accorded them through that noble gesture by the 200 million good people of this magnificent nation? With the hindsight of avoiding blanket judgement, we make bold to say that the "big men" who have terribly abused that magnificent honour in recent times were products of the Nigerian society, who benefited immensely from the socio-economic, educational and employment opportunities of past administrations on the platter of gold, but have now attempted to destroy the very foundation through which they rose to limelight, fame and recognition!

THE ROLE OF THE MEDIA IN THE DISSEMINATION OF HATE SPEECHES - 2014-2019!
Hate speeches/publications have been made popular by the Nigerian Media - print, electronic and lately, the all-comers and very notorious SOCIAL MEDIA where every Tom, Dick and Harry, have uninterrupted field day to disseminate outrageous messages of disaffection that had triggered blood-letting mostly in socio-political activities, especially before, during or after elections, without any noticeable censorship by the BROADCASTING ORGANISATION OF NIGERIA (BON)!

In the year 2007, ex-President Aremu Obasanjo, who lost his diabolical plan for a THIRD TERM in office resorted to the hate and incisive cliché of a DO-OR -DIE election that MUST be won by his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at all costs! It is on record that several innocent Nigerians lost their lives in the aftermath of that very controversial elections in which results were announced in Abuja while collation of votes still went on at States collation centres! Protests that greeted ex-President Jonathan's election in the year 2011, when the same Obasanjo master-minded the process of his, (Jonathan's), election through the same "do-or-die" machinery and "imposed" him on Nigerians, also claimed precious lives as the Northern political class believed in continuity through a northern candidate to complete the tenure of the late President Shehu Musa Yard 'Adua!
In 2015, PDP politicians came out in their worst behaviour in massive incitements through hate speeches, publications, advertorials, on newspapers, radio, televisions, social media, when a new All Progressives Congress (APC), emerged with the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari as its flag bearer and got away with all their crimes!

THE IMMUNED ONES ALWAYS GOT AWAY WITH THEIR CRIMES!
Even when Buhari emerged victorious, the hate speeches continued unabated through ex-Governor Ayodele Fayose and a sitting Niger Delta Governor Nyesome Wike, whose Rivers State is notorious for blood- letting and decapitation of perceived opponents - including security agents! Fayose got away with all his crimes of hate speeches against President Buhari and will Wike also get away? We strongly believe that both sitting and ex-governors could be thoroughly investigated and at the appropriate time of exit from office, be brought to face prosecution through the International Criminal Court (ICC), in The Hague, in order to serve as deterrent to would-be defaulters of the immunity clause! BUT DOES NIGERIA POSSESS STRONG SECURITY INSTITUTIONS TO DEAL WITH HATE SPEECHES/PUBLICATIONS OR SHOULD SECTION 308 BE EXPUNGED FROM NIGERIA'S CONSTITUTION?

"WRITE YOUR WILL BEFORE COMING TO MY TERRITORY!" -Gov. Nyesome Wike, Rivers State!
Before the commencement of the 2015 General Elections, PDP 'S GOV. NYESOME WIKE, RIVERS STATE. WARNED Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), ELECTORAL OFFICERS who might likely be partisan, to write their TESTAMENTS, and put their houses in order before travelling to his domain, because they might lose their lives in the event of any negative actions! Many deaths were recorded in Rivers State in virtually every election, general or supplementary - and the governor seemed to be getting away with all the atrocities!

"BE READY TO DEPART FROM MY COUNTRY IN BODY BAGS IF YOU MEDDLE IN OUR ELECTIONS!"
The latest of incisive and hate speech is coming from the sitting APC'S Governor Nasir El Rufai, of Kaduna  State, who has issued a very stern warning to FOREIGN ELECTION OBSERVERS whom he perceived would support the opposition to rig Nigeria's 2019 Elections to desist or face the consequences of death! El Rufai did not mince his words, he was very categorical and emphatic during a television interview when he said that such persons would go home in body bags!
Are these chief executives/chief security officers of their States in possession of some exclusive information which must not be shared with their security agencies according to the law, but believe should be personally executed through misguided or disgruntled persons who might likely kill, maim and destroy lives in the event of mob actions through such incitements?
WOULD THE BOKO HARAM ACTS OF TERRORISM OF MERCILESS KILLINGS OF INNOCENT CITIZENS IN THE NORTH EAST, WEST AND CENTRAL GEO-POLITICAL ZONES BE DIFFERENT IF EL-RUFAI'S INCITEMENT WERE TO DEGENERATE INTO BODILY ATTACKS AGAINST THE INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTATIVES FROM AFRICA, EUROPEAN UNION (EU), UNITED STATES, etc, etc.

RUFAI'S PREVIOUS HATE STATEMENT ON FULANI VENGEANCE TRAITS!
It seemed that propagation of hate speeches and utterances has become El Rufai past-time, who in 2016 during the height of the herdsmen and farmers clashes over grazing rights said the a Fulani man would always avenge the death of his peer or animal, no matter how long it took! At that time, the governor claimed that he sent emissaries to Niger State to pay heavy ransoms of money to dissuade Fulani mercenaries from coming to Nigeria to avenge the killing of some of their cattle in Kaduna State during a clash with some locals!

GARBA SHEHU'S STATEMENT IS NOT BUHARI'S STATEMENT!
The Presidential spokesman Garba Shehu has not helped matters either if the statement about the zeal for "nationalism" credited to El Rufai by him is indeed very true!  What is nationalistic in cold-blooded murder of defenceless people who could be summarily terminated on trumped up charges? Who will prove the innocence or guilt of any FOREIGNER if accused of interference in Nigeria's domestic affairs? Would it be an INCITED MOB, incensed through hate speech but had neither moral justification to take other persons lives nor take laws into their hands or security agents were sidelined by the governor in this case? WHEN DID HATE SPEECH QUALIFY AS A NATIONALISTIC PRODUCT?

FOREIGN OBSERVERS ARE PART AND PARCEL OF NIGERIA'S POLITICAL PROCESS BECAUSE NIGERIA IS NOT AN ISLAND TO ITSELF!
Working on the assumption that FOREIGNERS plan to meddle and support the opposition PDP, what should be the immediate line of action of the chief security officer of a State other than to order discreet and meticulous investigations by highly professional/trusted officers to ascertain the veracity of the allegation and take appropriate actions BUT DEFINITELY NOT TO UNLEASH MOBS UPON PEOPLE WHO MIGHT BE PROVED INNOCENT EVENTUALLY! Nigerians have served as foreign observers during political elections in other parts of world since independence and we are not aware of any recorded incident of threats to their lives! We have to place it on record that Nigeria will never yield nor succumb to any form of NEO-COLONIZATION by any foreign power be it America, Russia, European Union, China or the Koreas; because with earned our SOVEREIGNTY in maturity as a determined people who believe in the sanctity of life!  We regret that we have to contend with the Boko Haram insurgency for this long but we would not as a developing nation resort to BARBARIC destruction of lives and properties which those enemies of the State have adopted as their trade mark!

THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT (ICC), RIOT ACT TO NIGERIA!
Fortunately, Nigeria is signatory to several international treaties and conventions including those that confers ICC with powers to try criminal cases involving Nigerian citizens in thei court! And already, the ICC Chief Prosecutor, Ms. Fatou Bensouda, in a special broadcast on 5th February, 2019, read the riot act to Nigerian politicians - including Gov. El Rufai and others in respect of threats to the up-coming 2019 General Elections!
They are warned not to INCITE OR ENGAGE IN ACTS OF VIOLENCE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE SAID ELECTIONS! "No one should doubt my offices resolve to prosecute individuals responsible of ICC crimes whenever necessary", she unequivocally warned adding that ICC had jurisdiction over Rome Statute crimes committed on the territory of Nigeria.  She also said that violence was not a solution to electoral competition and admonished Nigerian politicians to send a clear message through the conduct of peaceful elections that such contests did not have to result into violence and crimes!
WE VEHEMENTLY CONDEMNED HATE SPEECH PEDLARS IN 2014-2016, WE STILL CONDEMN THEM NOW! A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE! "Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shall call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise." (Isaiah. 60:18). Amen.

BATTLE OF THE TITANS FOR SUPREMACY AS NIGERIA GOES TO THE POLLS!

Contrary to negative predictions of presumptuous conflicts that could mar the impending 2019 General Elections in Nigeria, due to the unrelenting rivalry amongst the THREE ARMS OF GOVERNMENT, there can be no better time than now for the citizens to identify who is really faithful to the overall administration of the Nigerian nation!

Though the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was unambiguous when it began on this patriotic note:
"We the People of the Federal Republic of Nigeria:
Having firmly and solemnly resolved:
TO LIVE in unity and harmony as one indivisible and indissoluble                                                        Sovereign Nation under God dedicated to the promotion of inter-African                                                     solidarity, world peace, international co-operation and understanding:
AND TO PROVIDE for a Constitution for the purpose of promoting                                                            the good government and welfare of all persons in our country on the principles                                                of  Freedom, Equality and Justice, and for the purpose of consolidating the Unity                                                of our people :
DO HEREBY MAKE, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES the following                                                       Constitution: etc, etc.

QUESTION: Are the THREE ARMS, mentioned in our opening paragraph included among, "We the People of the Federal Republic of Nigeria: ", or are they from another PLANET?
The EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATURE, and JUDICIARY in Nigeria - especially of the 6th Republic, have been at each others' throat from 29th May, 2015, when President Muhamadu Buhari, in a part of his inaugural speech categorically stated as follows: "I AM FOR EVERYBODY AND I AM FOR NOBODY", without bothering about other groups of people in the equation - like the CITIZENS, and the ELECTORATE, - whom they claimed to represent in government!

WHAT ABOUT THE DIVINE PERSONALITY OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD TO WHOM THE DRAFTERS OF THE CONSTITUTION COMMITTED THE NATION'S WELFARE, - UNITY, HARMONY, INDIVISIBILITY, INDISSOLUBILITY AND SOVEREIGNTY UNTO? SHOULD HE NOT BE FACTORED INTO THE NATION'S LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES?

In no time the President's statement was given diverse interpretations by the different folks of the conglomerate! The All Progressives Congress (APC), with majority seats in the Federal Legislature was the first to fire the salvo by sidelining Party Supremacy to choose its Principal Officers, in an unprecedented revolution that shook the ruling party to its very foundation from the very beginning!
From that time on, the Federal Government had suffered several set-backs in its various operational activities, ranging from appointments of key officers to man strategic agencies, to confirmation of ministerial appointees, board members, passage of government-initiated Bills - especially, the annual BUDGETS of each year consecutively since 2016, which has culminated into the loss of the budget execution cycle of January to December!
The arrow-heads of the rebellious National Assembly (NASS), Senator 'Bukola Saraki and Hon. Yakubu Dogara, respectively, succeeded in conniving with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), minority members to craftily decamp to the group and still maintain their principal positions as Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives with a view to heating up the polity!!
The JUDICIARY on its part maintained conspitorial silence, though in most cases of litigation, gave ridiculous judgements in solidarity with the Legislature against the Executive, especially after a successful Directorate of Security Services (DSS), STING OPERATION of 2016, which destroyed their self-esteem and self-imposed/illicit IMMUNITY and exposed all the skeletons of their cupboards which included tons of United States dollars,  British pound sterling, Euros, naira, which were excess of their legitimate earnings and also unlicensed guns!

The 1999 Constitution in its very Chapter titled General Provisions, Part I, specifically enumerated the binding force and SUPREMACY of the document over all citizens and warned that Nigeria would only be governed by the provisions of the Constitution and not by any person or group of persons - as flouted by the Military for about 30 years, and now by a group of civilian opportunists, who were bent on truncating the new democratic order!
President Buhari in his declaration of, " belonging to everybody and to nobody", which was mis-interpreted by roguish politicians was in conformity with his manifesto that he would not be a draconian military dictator but a TRUE DEMOCRAT in a growing democracy like Nigeria and would take the nation to greater economic heights in a politically assured and a water-tight secured environment! From the inception of his administration which re-introduced the Treasury Single Account (TSA), all avenues for stealing the common patrimony by unscrupulous politicians and their civil servant accomplices, were totally blocked and every kobo was prudently accounted for to ensure that the TALAKAWAS were not continuously short-changed!

WHERE LIES THE UNITY OF THE ARMS?
Provisions for separation of powers and the seeming equality of the three arms are clearly spelt out in the Constitution but is not one ARM more equal than the others? Although the sacred document was crafted to ensure the independent position of each Arm, it is very clear that their duties and functions dovetail into one another through: operational duties of the Executive which takes care of protection of lives/properties of citizens and defence of territorial integrity of the nation; the Legislature being in charge of formulating the laws for good governance and carrying out oversight functions on government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), while the Judiciary which serves as the arbiter/conflict resolution professional/expert between the other two, takes care of all litigations, civil/criminal, but most importantly, represents the LAST HOPE OF THE COMMON MAN where the quest for JUSTICE was concerned!
From the earlier narratives, it is crystal clear that there was no love lost between the Three Arms, neither existed any bond or UNITY because the Executive was equally disappointed that the Judiciary failed to support the WAR AGAINST CORRUPTION! Recently, when allegations of failure to declare assets was brought against the Chief Justice of Nigeria Walter Onnoghen, who heads the THIRD ARM,  the Executive Arm did not stop investigations but suspended him from office on the strength of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), to allow for the rule of law to play out during his trial at the Tribunal and consequently, the National Judicial Council (NJC), which is the constitutional administrative/disciplinary body for JUDICIAL OFFICERS, concurred in order not to further heat up the polity in spite of  the hue and cries by a motley crowd of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, junior lawyers and some misguided youths!
Similarly, former Secretary to the Government, Babachir Lawal, former Director General (DG), Ayo Oke and Wife, who faced allegations of fraud/corruption/money laundering etc, were not shielded either, but allowed to answer to charges against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), at the Federal High Courts!

WAS GOD FACTORED INTO THE ADMINISTRATION OF NIGERIA ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION?
Until when Muhammadu Buhari was divinely installed by GOD, as Nigeria's CHANGE AGENT, in 2015, the previous successive administrations of the PDP, encouraged corruption with impunity in all facets of life as the LOVE OF MONEY took the centre stage of governance! The Common Wealth of the people of Nigeria frittered into the hands of a favoured few which were awarded all manner of unexecuted contracts which ran into billions of naira which have not been accounted for till date - the most outrageous being the USD $16 billon dollars POWER SECTOR CONTRACT during ex-president Aremu Obasanjo's tenure!

During those dark period of Nigeria's history, dubious PETROLEUM PRODUCTS SUBSIDIES were paid to contractors who did not import a drop of refined product into the country! But today, when GOD has been factored into the life of the nation, the story has changed for the best because all uncompleted contracts of the past in the ECONOMY, SECURITY, POWER, ROAD, RAIL, AIRPORTS, SEA PORTS, HEALTH, EDUCATION, TRADERS SUPPORT, AGRICULTURE, ENTERTAINMENT, TOURISM,& SPORTS,SECTORS ETC, have received new directions through "righteous governance" by the UNDISPUTABLE MAN OF INTERGRITY, PRESIDENT BUHARI, WHOSE ANTECEDENT COULD NOT BE FAULTED BY HIS WORST DETRACTORS! TODAY, FEDERAL PRESENCE IN THE EXECUTION OF CAPITAL PROJECTS IS ONGOING IN ALL THE 36 STATES OF THE COUNTRY!

IS IT NOT TIME FOR THE PEOPLE TO FULLY SUPPORT THE RULING APC WHICH POSSESSES CLEAN CREDENTIALS?
Now is the time for fresh orientation of all citizens in respect of quality politicking and governance as the country moves into the 2019 General Elections in about two weeks so that the right candidates can be brought on board to WORK WITH PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI IN HIS DIVINELY PREDICTED SECOND TERM FROM 29TH MAY, 2019, TO 29TH MAY, 2023!
This is the time to separate the CHAFF FROM THE WHEAT, the right time to show the TRAITORS OF THE NIGERIAN MASSES, the way out and send them to the labour market where they belong! It is also the time to KICK OUT APC ENEMIES IN ZAMFARA, IMO, RIVERS AND OGUN STATES who are bent to "have their cake and eat it too"!

One of the THREE presidential aspirants who participated in the disorganized debate compared by Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON), philosophically predicted that the present administration of Muhammadu Buhari must give way for another, yet-to-be-identified-administration, come 29th May, 2019; in view of past antecedents which witnessed such change of batons in 1959, 1979, 1999, and possibly now in 2019!
According to the postulation, the British Administration gave way to self-rule in 1959, with Alhaji Tafawa Balewa at the helm of affairs; twenty years later, in 1979, another leader, in the person of Alhaji Shehu Shagari, came on board while the next decade, 1999, threw up Chief Aremu Obasanjo, as the new democratic leader; and now in year 2019 AD, the aspirant believed that an unknown person would emerge to replace the incumbent president!
This human theory which could not be alluded to any historical reference from amalgamation of Nigeria's Northern and Southern Protectorates in 1914 to Independence in 1960, has now gained currency with Mrs. Oby Ekwesili, the only female participant on the fateful 19th January, 2019, Abuja Debate, who has now thrown away the presidential mandate bestowed upon her on a platter of gold, in other to actualize the 20-year fairy cycle which she strongly believed would sweep out the incumbent occupant of the Aso Villa, President Muhammadu Buhari!

FEMALE PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT DR. OBY EZEKWESILI, BOWS OUT!
On Wednesday, 24th January, 2019, OBY announced her resolve to withdraw from the presidential race without consulting with the Executive of her Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN)! In a statement released to the Press, she said, she had to step down to "HELP BUILD A COALITION TO DEFEAT BOTH THE APC AND THE PDP IN THE 2019 POLLS! But her party's executive said they were not consulted and as such have ADOPTED THE INCUMBENT PRESIDENT, MUHAMMADU BUHARI, AS THEIR CANDIDATE; but the "Bring Back Our Girls" crusader cared less as she describe them as charlatans!

"Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?"  As it is written, "And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding." (Lamentations.3:37 & Daniel 2:21-22, respectively). Divine plans are beyond human comprehension and that is the major reason why Man always failed to factor God into his situations and circumstances! NO THIRD FORCE CAN REMOVE BUHARI FROM THE POSITION OF POWER WHICH GOD PERSONALLY SET HIM UP TO PURGE NIGERIA OF ENDEMIC CORRUPTION!

WHY WOULD OBASANJO AND DANJUMA HATE NIGERIANS THIS MUCH?
Chiefs Olusegun Obasanjo and TY Danjuma are birds of the same feathers and have several similarities. They were buddies right from the army days but Danjuma worships Obasanjo like his god! Fortunately for them, both made it to the five stars general cadre before retirement. When OBJ ventured again into politics for the position of president, Danjuma vigorously and passionately campaigned for his idol and openly declared that if Obasanjo lost the 1999 election, he would go on EXILE! He was lucky, OBJ won the election, did two terms and tried the third but to no avail but Danjuma got a Juicy Oil Bloc for his fervent support! Both generals, through sheer guts are multi-billionaires and are enjoying MILITARY IMMUNITY - which is neither an Act of Parliament nor an enactment of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution, even as amended! When they vituperated SEDITION with impunity, no one in government was bold to either challenge or bring them to book according to the LAW! In fact, they are the LAW unto themselves! Although, Danjuma served as Minister of Defence in Obasanjo's cabinet, he kept away from partisan politicking as an astute businessman. The two OCTOGENARIANS, had thus taken Nigeria for granted as they uttered very INCISISIVE, LIBELOUS, LICENTOUS, SEDITIOUS, statements that touch on sensitive security matters which are affecting the generality of the masses sensitivities, without CAUTION! ARE THESE CITIZENS WHO SHOULD BE ROLE MODELS AS ELDER STATESMEN BIGGER THAN NIGERIA?
Obasanjo continued as a CIVILLIAN COUPIST the moment he lost his much-desired THIRD TERM BID! He manipulated all administrations that came after him from Musa Yar'Adua to Ebele Jonathan and now Muhammadu Buhari (who is also a retired MILITARY GENERAL), through damning criticisms/accusations of non-performance, corruption, nepotism, unfitness, senility etc, through LETTER WRITING in order to gain cheap popularity! HIS LATEST LETTER STATED THAT BUHARI'S ADMINISTRATION WAS WORSE THAN THAT OF THE LATE GENERAL SANI ABACHA!

On his own part, Danjuma goes for direct INCITEMENT by urging some citizens of the North Central Taraba State to acquire ARMS to defend themselves against armed militia groups during the upsurge of crime/criminality in 2018, WITHOUT FOLLOWING THE RULE AND PROCESS OF LAW; and in the new year he has made another damning statement capable of causing animosity/bloodshed between the good citizens of this great country by raising FALSE ALARM OVER PLANS BY THE BUHARI ADMINISTRATION TO RIG THE 2019  ELECTIONS THROUGH UNDEMOCRATIC WAYS WITHOUT AN IOTA OF EVIDENCE!

WHY ARE SOME NIGERIANS SO GULLIBLE!
On-going campaigns on the laudable achievements of the ruling government in the three-pronged promises of ensuring adequate security, providing conducive economic platform and destroying corruption from its foundation, have endeared the Electorate and have agitated their minds positively to decipher the TRUTH FROM FALSEHOOD!
However, attention must be drawn to the opposition's subtle and clandestine introduction of money-politicking and vote-buying which is contrary to the electoral laws, but which is fast gaining momentum among gullible citizen who were easily lured into selling their birthright for peanuts!

WHY WOULD SOME NIGERIANS SUPPORT EVIL DOERS WHO HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED AS LOOTERS OF THE TREASURY AND WHO ARE STILL SHAMELESSLY GALIVANTING ABOUT AS BEING RELEVANT IN THE SOCIETY? These set of people would hail corrupt politicians, legislators, administrators, JUDGES, whether they were under investigation or had been sentenced to some terms in prison because they possess lewd/sinister minds that feast on aberrations! These set of Nigerians, including 80 National Assembly senators, trooped after Senator 'Bukola Saraki and his wife when they had issues at the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), respectively, in 2016/2017! Very recently, over 150 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANS), and some misguided legal practitioners abandoned their duty posts to defend the accused Chief Judge, Walter Onoghen, even though the man allegedly admitted that he actually forgot to update his Assets Declaration Forms with the CCB! And when the President asked him to step aside in order to clear his name and to avoid a vacuum, replaced him with the most senior judge at the apex court, these same set of Nigerians kept lambasting the decision as very UNCONSTITUTIONAL, and have shamelessly called on the United States (US), and the United Kingdom (UK), to RE-COLONIZE Nigeria and subject it unto their whims and caprices! WHAT A PITY! They are the unethical humans who usually exude warped/crude method of thoughts to analyze political/socio-economic issues because they are naturally limited to earthly, ephemeral and mundane things of life. They are the very gullible and their minds trend mostly on negativism, horrors, crimes/criminalities, disasters, evil reports etc, etc. And with the advent of the information/communication technology, the internet social media space had become the freest portal for such set of radicals to pollute sane societies with their distorted views!

These humans or inhumans exist not only in Nigeria, but in all global settlements to constitute themselves into renegade forces which see nothing good in lawfully constituted authorities contrary to the Word of God which says that: "Let every soul be subject unto higher powers, for there is no power but of God, the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God and they that resist shall receive unto themselves, damnation. For rulers are not a terror to GOOD WORKS but to the EVIL." etc. (Romans. 13:1-14).
We enjoin all democrats at home and the Diaspora to join ranks to EXPOSE those enemies of the Nigerian society, who still relish in CORRUPTION WITH IMPUNITY, and quickly bring them to JUSTICE!

IS NIGERIA UNDER SEIGE?
On Monday, 21st January, 2019, Minister of Information and Culture alleged that desperate opposition coalitions, whose chances of winning at the up-coming polls had waned, were bent on overheating the polity through widespread violence with a view to truncating the elections and thus create a platform for the establishment of an interim government? He said government had credible intelligence that armed bandits and Boko Haram insurgents had been mobilized to engage in massive attacks and other acts of violence in several states across the country, including Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Benue, Kano, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Plateau, Taraba and Zamfara. The Minister also said that a Benue-based armed criminal group, led by Terwase Akwaza, also known as Gana, had been commissioned the opposition to strike soft targets in Benue, Nasarawa and Taraba States, while in Kano State, another group of notorious miscreants would foment trouble during and after the elections, adding that some armed mercenaries from Niger Republic, had also been contracted to strike in North-West Nigeria between now and the elections!

HAS LAI MOHAMMED SAID ANYTHING NEW?
Who approved his unpalatable and fear-inducing script which seemed like an indictment on the security architecture of the Armed Forces and their Service Chiefs who are working relentlessly round the clock to ensure violence-free, fair and credible elections! THE HIT AND RUN TACTICS OF MERCENERIES/TERRORISTS IS BEING VIGOROUSLY TACKLED BY THE SECURITY FORCES WHO DO NOT NEED TO BE DISCOURAGED BY UNDIPLOMATIC CHANNEL OF COMMUNICATION! Although, Lai Mohammed assured Nigerians of Federal Government's commitment to a credible, free, fair and credible elections, to also counter the evil plans of the anarchists; did he not succeed to cast FEAR UPON THE ELECTORATE? This Minister should be called to order by the Commander-In-Chief, who had always ensured adequate security for all citizens, not only at elections but on daily basis all year round! Nigeria will emerge stronger and shame all detractors - local or foreign - and prove that IF GOD BE FOR US, NO ONE CAN BE AGAINST US! PRESIDENT BUHARI REMAINS NIGERIA'S PRESIDENT UNTIL 29TH MAY, 2023, BY GOD'S GRACE! AMEN.

ATIKU HAS SOLD NNPC TO HIS FRIENDS IN HIS DREAMS!

For the umpteenth time, the Presidential flag- bearer of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has told everyone who cared to listen that if he won the 2019 presidential election, he would not only sell the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), to satisfy his whim and caprice, but would also use the deal to ENRICH HIS FRIENDS, since his obsessive ideology is that, "government has no business in doing business"!

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was and still a businessman who before 1999, had made tons of money from the system through many sources, including government contracts etc, and on assumption of political office and by virtue of his position, automatically became Chairman of the National Economic Council (NEC), and also Chairman of the Privatization Committee on the sales of government Infrastructures set up by his principal, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, which virtually sold almost all critical assets of the nation to themselves and their cronies! Atiku and an Italian businessman, Gabriel Volpi, are co-owners of an outfit called, Integrated Logistics Services, (INTELS), which was strategically, positioned at the Lagos/Onne Sea Ports, since the year 1982, to collect revenues for Federal Government! Although Intels is supervised by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), this oil and gas company also collects revenue on behalf of the nation in the South-South Rivers State.

Onne Port which accounts for about 70% of cargo export through Nigeria's waterways, is the melting pot for oil and gas free zone where Intels had for 17 years made billions of dollars for Atiku and his foreign partner in violation to Sections 80(1) and 162(1) and 10 of the Nigerian Constitution!

It is on record that in spite of the fact that he took advantage of his position as a Customs Officer in 1982, to covetously build a wealthy empire through Nigeria's common patrimony around himself and his cronies  and true to character, HE IS NOW BOASTING THAT HE WOULD SELL  NNPC IF HE BECAME PRESIDENT IN HIS WIDEST IMAGINATION! Federal Government is demanding unpaid revenue collections into the Treasury Single Accounts to the tune of USD $48million from Intels!

Atiku believes he could blaze the trail of American billionaire, Donald Trump who bulldozed his way into the WHITE HOUSE but he has forgotten one very important detail that the BLOOD OF THE NIGER DELTA INDEGENES WHO PERISHED IN THE CREEKS IN A BID TO ASSERT THEIR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS, WOULD HUNT HIM TO HIS GRAVE - UNLESS HE FIRST SOLD ALL HIS SHARES AND THAT OF HIS FOREIGN PARTNER TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNERS!

It is widely speculated that Atiku's major source of stupendous wealth accrued from Intels which he code named his "side hustle", while in paid government service. The company is into shipping and logistics services in several ports in the country and expanded to several African countries! Atiku claims that his company has been involved in several corporate social responsibility initiatives which included scholarships for technical studies and training of young Nigerian footballers and sponsoring local football leagues!

CAN A LEOPARD CHANGE ITS SPOTS?
Atiku Abubakar, has not hidden his intention to sell NNPC - the Nigerian GOOSE THAT LAYS THE GOLDEN EGGS - if he became president to ENRICH HIS FRIENDS! Those were his exact words on national television in the second week of January, 2019, before he travelled to the United States - the first in 12 years since the bribery allegations which involved him and Congressman Jefferson in 2006, to prove that he was not a fugitive and to consult with other foreign partners!  The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation [NNPC], was established on April 1, 1977, as a merger of the Nigerian National Oil Corporation [NNOC] and Federal Ministry of Mines & Steel and by legislation NNPC, manages the joint venture between, the Federal Government of Nigeria and a number of foreign multi-national corporations which include, Royal Dutch Shell, AGIP, EXXON MOBIL, CHEVRON and TEXACO (now merged with CHEVRON).
Through collaboration with these foreign concerns, NNPC, conducts petroleum exploration and production as the department saddled with the sole responsibility for the upstream and downstream developments, regulation and supervision of the Oil and Gas Industry on behalf of the Nigerian Government.
This Sole Administrator status since 1988, when the Corporation, was commercialized into 11 strategic business units, covering the whole spectrum of operations, exploration and production, gas development, refining and distribution, petrochemicals, engineering and commercial investments, metamorphosed NNPC, into a massively petro dollar rich organisation.  Without the NNPC petro dollar money, the Federal Government cannot prepare annual national budgets of appropriation to cater for the economic welfare of all Nigerians!
Atiku, who was touted by PDP to participate in the much-publicized National Presidential Debate, organized by the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON), failed to show up to the shame of his propaganda handlers who later gave some spurious and untenable excuses for his inglorious absence!

The D-DAY - February 16th, 2019, is just around the bend and the Electorate would decide with their votes who should govern them as President - whether the business prodigal or the Crusader against CORRUPTION, who is determined to salvage the common patrimony and cater for the WELFARE of the generality of the downtrodden masses of the Nigerian nation! But one thing is certain in all of these matters - DIVINE FACTOR WILL BE SACROSANCT!

STEPPING DOWN 2019 BUDGET LEGISLATIVE DEBATE IS UNPROGRESSIVE!
At a time when the Nigerian Federal Executive worked feverishly not to be distracted by the up-coming General Elections through its concentration on completion of on-going CAPITAL PROJECTS and to increase the performance percentage of last year's budget from 54 to at least 80%, legislators of the lower house stepped down debate on the 2019 Budget Bill from Second Reading for one week to enable the honourables to study and digest the document in view of "late distribution" to members, who had the opportunity of vacation to have thoroughly digested the document!!
These legislators who had been on recess since the presentation of the Budget Estimate of N8.83 trillion, for the 2019 fiscal year by the President on 19th December, 2018, resumed second plenary on Wednesday 16th January, 2019, only to disrupt work on the very sensitive document on the following day for very untenable excuses! History will remember the 8th NASS as the most unprepared, unruly, insensitive and aggrandized group of lawmakers that ever sat to corruptly occupy to desecrate Nigeria's hallowed chambers for filthy lucre of office - with very few exceptions!

The lapses being witnessed now was the fall-out of their failure to listen with rapt attention to that well-articulated budget presentation but instead, washed their dirty laundry globally through primitive jeering, booing, colloquial castigations and outright condemnation of salient facts and figures reeled out from the document!
Since the life of the current 8th National Assembly (NASS), will expire before the 29th May, 2019, SWEARING-IN OF PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI FOR HIS SECOND TERM IN OFFICE, which is less than four months away, and that passage of the new Budget was imperative, would it not tantamount to gross dereliction of constitutional duty for out-going legislators to handle the process with such levity? To these law makers, the only thing that matters is how they would ensure that their illegal, stupendous salaries, allowances and SEVERANCE GRATUITIES/PENSIONS, were packaged and paid before they disengaged!

Whereas, urgent attention/intervention was expected by the legislators on national issues in respect of the minimum wage, the over two months old industrial action by Universities/Polytechnic Lecturers, deliberate synergy with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to ensure free, fair, peaceful and credible 2019, General Elections - especially in respect of ease of distribution of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs), to ensure no eligible electorate was disenfranchised, since they were the constitutional representatives of the citizens of Nigeria in government!

NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW, BUT MUST WE NOT SHOW SOME RESPECT?
Give honour to whom honour is due! Accord respect to rulers, dignitaries, elites, the honourables, distinguished people in position of authority - elected or appointed - on whose broad shoulders lay the burden of administration of the polity in order to ensure the smooth execution civil/criminal justice and  by extension, establish global peaceful societies! Although most Nigerian politicians, legal practitioners and members of the BENCH (the judges), of the 6th Republic do not deserve any form of respect from any citizen because of their disgraceful penchant for ephemeral things of life at the expense of the lives of those they claimed to represent, whereas some of them, like CHIEF JUSTICE WALTER ONOGHEN, Head of the Legislature, Third Arm of Government, deserved quality respect, no matter, the allegations levelled against them!

Fast-tracked arraignment/prosecution by Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB)/Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), request through COURT, via the Attorney-General /Minister of Justice, for Onoghen's accounts to be FROZEN were very unnecessary, considering his lofty position as number FIVE citizen and his pedigree as an eminent jurist of the Apex Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! Are we not towing the line of the opposition thoughts? But let us suppose that the President got wind of the move against his Chief Judge and intervened to stop the hasty trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, what would have been PDP's reaction? Did the Chief Judge really forget to UPDATE his assets declaration documents? It is not impossible!  We remain convinced that his travail would pass away sooner than Nigerians could comprehend!

NIGERIAN FEDERAL TROOPS MUST RISE IN THE STRENGTH OF THE EAGLES!
[IN COMMEMORATION OF THE ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY - 15TH JANUARY, 2019]

The Nigerian Air force military gunship helicopter which recorded FIVE causalities as it crashed in Bornu State on the second day of the new year 2019, has brought to the fore the transient nature of human life of "here today, and gone tomorrow"! Those unfortunate officers and men who looked forward to celebrate the Armed Forces Remembrance Day of fallen heroes, as they did in past years hardly thought they could fall from the skies like meteors and vanish into oblivion in the twinkling of an eye!
Those gallant combatants had hardly been laid to rest when TWELVE Nigerian Army soldiers who were mowed down through Boko Haram attacks, were also buried in a military tradition at the Commonwealth Military Cemetery, Kaduna, on Friday 10th January, 2019!  Ten of tens before them had been committed into the belly of the Earth without much fanfare since the advent of insurgency in 2009, as they paid the SUPREME PRICE of death for the survival of their beloved nation!
Outside of these unfortunate scenarios, there was a deliberate onslaught towards the end of  2018, by the terrorists against military targets and installations to steal arms and ammunitions in order to prolong the war which had completely decimated and routed their remnant rag-tag renegades and they almost succeeded to embarrass the Nigerian Government in an unprecedented attack on the troops with the connivance of some fifth columnists within government strategic security architecture at the Lake Chad Border, during which not less than fifty soldiers lost their precious lives!

BUT THE BLOOD OF THESE FALLEN HEROES MUST NOT BE SHED IN VAIN! WE AS A PEOPLE MUST UNITE IN PRAYERS FOR DIVINE VENGEANCE AGAINST THOSE WHO WERE CULPABLE IN THEIR DEATHS!
There was another orchestrated distortion of information by the same group through the publication of fake news that the security forces, soldiers/mobile policemen were abandoning trenches at war fronts in the North East because they were not adequately motivated in both welfare emoluments/logistics and as such were completely demoralized and they almost succeeded to force fear into the minds the larger population which believed in the capability of the officers and men of the Armed Forces and the Police to protect their territorial integrity, internally and externally at all times!
But the ruling government had dispelled the fake news as the figments of the imagination of enemies of the State because budget appropriation for security forces are on first line charge of the Change Administration and that their regular equipments/hardwares, salaries and allowances were always given topmost priority, because the past administration, through its NSA, Col. Sambo Dasuki, allegedly diverted security funds (USD $2.1 billion dollars), meant for the purchase of military equipments to ex-President Ebele Jonathan’s CAMPAIGN FUNDS!

The year 2018 which also witnessed the diabolical escalation of terrorism aided and sponsored by local and foreign detractors/collaborators against the Nigerian nation, its Armed Forces and the Police did not help matters either because the upsurge in pastoral/farmers clashes was viciously targeted to increase the sense of insecurity in the minds of the law- abiding population of innocent citizens and force them to succumb to the well-orchestrated evil machinations, deliberately planned to discredit the incumbent APC administration!
In that year, Benue State in North Central was the first in an attack which spiraled sporadically to Taraba Plateau, Zamfara and even Sokoto, the Caliphate State was not spared! However, the good news is that calm has gradually returned to all affected States as the 2019 General Elections, slated for 16th February, 2019, for Presidential/National Assembly, and 2nd March, 2019, for the Gubernatorial/State Assemblies, are fast-approaching!

AS NIGERIANS GATHER AT MILITARY CENOTAPHS ACROSS THE 36 STATES!
We must collectively continue to remember that but for the special grace of God and the blood and sweat of these exemplary officers and men, who have remained in the battle TRENCHES of the North East States of Bornu, Yobe, Adamawa, and other volatile areas of the North Western/ North Central and have prevailed against these enemies of the State in over NINE YEARS of the battle of survival, we would have been swallowed up as a nation! We must also mourn other fallen heroes, members of the Armed Forces (Navy, Air Force, the Nigeria Police Mobile Force, the CIVILIAN JTF, other uniformed personnel and the AFICAN UNION (AU) MULTI-NATIONAL MILITARY TASK FORCE, for diligence, courage, determination and steadfastness in the committed prosecution of the war to its logical and victorious conclusion!
WE SHOULD AS A NATION IMMORTALIZE OUR SOLDIERS TO ENSURE THAT THEIR SACRIFICES WERE NOT IN VAIN?
Because military life is a thoroughly disciplined life where the chain of command from the topmost hierarchy is not only obeyed with alacrity but orders are carried out with spiritual and dedicated commitment;
Because soldiers have been upgraded and elevated, spiritually and mentally, through various deliberate and well-calculated military indoctrination that believes that no task or challenge in the course of duty was insurmountable or unachievable;
Because combatants are toughened and hardened through deliberate engagements in series of arduous tasks which take them to the zenith of strength and ability and where death may become inevitable and for them to face such situations without blinking an eye lid like the United States Navy Seals;
Because patriotic zeal and total commitment to defend the fatherland is the motto of every soldier who is sufficiently knowledgeable never to compromise this ideology; and
Because no soldier who is worth his calling ever betrays his country secrets of war blueprints, even as a prisoner of war (POW)!

CRITICISIMS AGAINST MILITARY OPERATION PYTHON  DANCE NATION-WIDE - 2019, IS UNTENABLE!
Internal Security Operations (IS) Ops and other responsibilities of the Nigerian Army include the following: First: to protect Nigeria’s borders and her territorial integrity in times of internal or external aggression, crisis, environmental disasters and the overall protection of the Nigerian citizens. Second: to promote Nigeria’s global interest in peace-keeping mission, operations/initiatives, and to supply humanitarian aids to such regions in need.
The domestic responsibilities of soldiers include but not limited to the following:
Aid civilian population during environmental disasters of storms, floods, earthquakes, landslides etc.
Construct local bridges, make-shift shelters in war-torn conflict areas; assist in restoration of vital services like electricity, portable water, clearing of blocked roads, search and rescue of hostages etc.
When riots or other forms of civil unrest threaten national security which could not be contained by the Police Force, the Army was always approached for necessary support to restore and maintain law and order.
It is on record that Nigerian soldiers had always performed creditably, both at domestic and international levels since independence and even in all of the road block assignments, had proved to be friendlier than other security operatives. Therefore, meticulous and adequate attention MUST be paid to both the next of kins of fallen soldiers and the Legion of MILITARY PENSIONERS who survived the war in respect of all financial entitlements while THOSE WHO ARE STILL IN THE TRENCHES MUST NOT ONLY BE WELL-MOTIVATED AND REMUNERATED AS AT WHEN DUE, BUT MUST ALSO BE WELL-KITTED AND EQUIPPED WITH THE LATEST AND MODERN STATE-OF -THE- EARTH MILITARY HARDWARE!

THE 2019 GENERAL ELECTIONS CONCERNS THE MILITARY, NO ONE CAN WISH THAT AWAY!
Nigerian democrats, the Electorate and the general populace should discountenance AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL'S one-sided and sinister report aimed at destabilizing the remaining fabric of UNITY that holds the nation together through its desperate effort to introduce bitterness, rancor, hatred, malice, animosity and sectionalism amongst the 250 tribes and over 500 tongues of the Nigeria nation BUT keep faith together to ensure that the evil machinations of foreign and local detractors would not prevail! We implore all well-meaning citizens to go out on the appointed days and vote for credible candidates of their choice on ISSUE-BASED manifestoes, projections, capital projects including past and current achievements, that were people-oriented and were beneficial to the down-trodden of the 200 million Nigerians! This is the only country we can call our own - we must collectively save it from destruction by performing our civic duties at that appropriate time! "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” (Proverbs. 29:2)
