BUHARI’S OBSESSION FOR ONE NIGERIA TRIUMPHED IN NEW YORK!
[In Commemoration of Nigeria’s 61st Independence Anniversary].
Organized secessionist activities planned to embarrass Nigeria at the recently-concluded 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), by some disgruntled Igbo and Yoruba tribes, fell like a pack of cards when President Buhari’s aides presented an ACE CARD of professional protesters to end the clandestine game!
Before the “one-million-man-march” protesters of 84-year-old Nigerian Historian Professor ‘Banji Akintoye, and Nnamdi Kanu’s Independent Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), motley crowd could gather at the lawns opposite the UN Buildings in New York, USA, “Nigerian placard-carrying men and women” had filled the arena in solidarity for one indivisible, indissoluble, inseparable, united Nigeria nation to outshine all other groups that were probably denied VISA to America!
The common aim of the duo dissident groups was to lobby the UN Body for support to secede for reasons of marginalization without following the process of legality!
SEPARATISTS MUST TOW THE LINE OF LEGALITY!
AND whereas one of the social intervention strategies of the Vienna Convention emphasizes that the principle of Self Determination embodied in Article 1 of the Charter of the United Nations as a legal right of people to decide their own destiny in a peaceful, democratic and equitable international order, not through armed secession, brigandage, partition, separation, dissension culminating in total break-up of law and order!
Nigeria is grappling with multiple agitations to settle the vexatious issue of MARGINALIZATION through REFERENDUM by several groups from north to south who are being manipulated by misguided separatists like IPOB which believes that only violent secession could proffer such desire!
ARE KANU’S DISSIDENTS ABOVE THE LAW?
Prior to IPOB’s failed UNGA outing, the group had ordered that all workers, traders, artisans and citizens TO SIT AT HOME ON MONDAYS in protest against their leader’s trial for treason/treasonable offences and threatened penalty of DEATH for defaulters!
The proscribed terrorist group also ordered that the Nigerian Flag should not be flown on all Government institutions on October 1st 2021 celebration of Nigeria’s 61st Independence Anniversary!
From very recent reports:
One trailer-driver who flouted IPOB orders on a Monday had his articulated vehicle loaded with motorcycles burnt down with the merchandize by Kanu’s henchmen on the prowl!
Another trailer conveying TOMATOES to a market place was also intercepted on a Monday and all the perishable fruits off-loaded and destroyed together with the vehicle!
One trader who also defied the sit-at-home-order, was allegedly killed with his HEAD severed and in spite of all these atrocities, no official arrests of the culprits have been made!
THE IGBO TRIBE HAD NEVER BEEN COWARDS!
Historians have adduced the myth of bravery and incredible mastery of warfare to the Igbo Tribe and from time immemorial they were never a PUSH OVER in any encounter against external aggressions
BUT it is a SHAME that in this 21st Century universe they have CHICKENED OUT that a few misguided youths and ILLITERATE miscreants could brow-beat them with threats of death?
QUESTIONS:
ARE THERE NO MORE OF THE LEGENDARY AND RENOWNED “OKONKWO WARRIORS” AMONG THE FIVE IGBO STATES OF THE SOUTH-EAST GEO-POLITICAL ZONE WHO COULD CALL THE BLUFF OF THESE POLITICAL LEACHES AND PARASITES?
THE “BIAFRA CIVIL WAR” WAS FOUGHT AND RESTED ON THE PLANK OF “NO WINNER, NO VANQUISHED”; THE LATE “BIAFRA” LEADER, COLONEL ODUMEGWU OJUKWU, WHO WAS GOVERNOR OF EASTERN REGION IN 1967, WAS GRANTED OFFICIAL PARDON AND RETURNED FROM SELF EXILE IN IVORY COAST (Cote d’Ivoire), ABOUNT A DECADE AFTER THE UNFORTUNATE WAR; REGAINED HIS NIGERIAN CITIZENSHIP; RETIRED FROM THE NIGERIAN ARMY; COLLECTED HIS PENSIONS, GRATUITY, INCLUDING OTHER ENTITLED EMOLUMENTS; REGAINED ALL BUSINESS EMPIRE WHICH HE INHERITED FROM HIS LATE FATHER (A CAPTAIN OF INDUSTRY AND BUSINESS MOGUL OF HIS ERA); ENJOYED A VERY PEACEFUL LIFE; WAS THE GRAND PATRON OF ALL PROGRESSIVES GRAND ALLIANCE (APGA); WAS GRANTED HIS LAST WISH THAT ALL “ANAMBRIANS” SHOULD VOTE THE PARTY TO VICTORY IN 2015, AND THEY DID; APGA IS STILL IN POWER IN ANAMBRA AS IT LOOKED FOR A FRESH ELECTION ON 6TH NOVEMBER, 2021; HE PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY ON 25TH NOVEMBER, 2011, IN LONDON, BROUGHT BACK TO NIGERIA AND BURIED WITH FULL MILITARY HONOURS!
Nnamdi Kanu is the complete opposite of Ojukwu who never played the game of “divide and rule” by ordering Igbo man to kill fellow Igbo man!
IGBOS HAVE HELD AND STILL HOLD VERY SENSITIVE POSITIONS IN ALL SECTORS OF THE ECONOMY ESPECIALLY IN THE FINANCIAL, PETROLEUM, MINISTRIES, DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT (IN SPITE OF THE FACT THEY REFUSED “TO VOTE” FOR MUHAMMADU BUHARI EN-MASS), IN HIS TWO TERMS IN OFFICE; PRESENTLY, THERE IS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PRESENCE IN EVERY STATE IN THE ZONE – ESPECIALLY THE SECOND RIVER NIGER BRIDGE IN ONITSHA, WHICH WILL BE COMPLETED AND HANDED OVER IN FEBRUARY 2022, AT A COST OF N336 BILLION NAIRA; INCLUDING NEW RAILWAY TRACKS WHICH WILL PASS THROUGH ENUGU, ABA! AND THE ICING ON THE CAKE OF THE IGBOS IS THAT DR. NNAMDI AZIKIWE, ONE OF NIGERIA’S FOUNDING FATHER, WAS THE VERY FIRST CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA IN 1960!
THE BIGGEST QUESTION NOW IS - ARE THERE NO EZE NDIGBO OLD MEN, WOMEN, ELDERS, AND HISTORIANS ETC, IN SOUTH EAST NIGERIA TO EDUCATE IPOB RABBLE-ROUSERS WHO ARE BENT ON ALIENATING OUR IGBO BRETHREN FROM THE REST OF US? IS OHANEZE AFRAID OF IPOB? DOES IPOB HAVE THE MANDATE OF THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE IGBOS TO SECEDE BY FORCE AND FIRE FROM NIGERIA?
Why would the LOAFERS destroy the enviable, hard-earned position of the Igbo race in the field of astute and successful business entrepreneurship through demonic manipulations? WAS IT NOT HIGH TIME THE PATRIOTIC MAJORITY OF IGBO INDUSTRIOUS YOUTHS RESISTED THE BRAZEN EFFRONTERY OF IPOB, NNAMDI KANU AND HIS FREE LOADERS?
The SACRED TRUTH is that South Easterners like their other counterparts in Nigeria from independence enjoyed internal self determination through free and fair elections, democratic governance, public accountability and political participation from independence till date in spite of the secession stunt which claimed over ONE MILLION of innocent Nigerian lives – mostly of Igbo origin! IPOB ARE LIARS AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH!!
To all IGBO patriotic YOUTHS We encourage you to reject the IPOB DOCTRINE OF SECESSION and embrace UNITY WITH NIGERIA - YOUR COUNTRY OF BIRTH for the Almighty God Will henceforth fight your battle!
Read the following scriptures: Romans. 8:31; Exodus.14:14; AND carry out the instructions in 2 Chronicles.7:14 everyday to break the yoke of IPOB on both your SPIRITUAL AND ECONOMIC LIFE!
Kanu and his collaborators are the HOUSEHOLD ENEMIES who still destroy your properties and murder your kith and kin in cold blood – 50 years after the Biafra Civil War!
If God destroyed Pharaoh King of Egypt, and set the ISRAELITES FREE, He Will definitely destroy IPOB on your behalf and you will be free to make your own choices!
PEACEFUL NEGOTIATION IS THE ONLY LEGAL RIGHT TO SELF DETERMINATION!
The United Nations states unequivocally that self determination is a core principle of international law arising from customary international law BUT also recognized as a general principle of law, and enshrined in a number of international treaties and therefore accessible to all people through international constitutional boundaries AND Nigeria is a signatory to numerous international treaties – including “self-determination!”
UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres in confirmation of UN’s support for right to self determination told a Committee on Decolonization in February, 2020, that the right to self-determination - though slower than it was in its historic peak in the 20th Century – remained “both a source of pride for the Organization and a crucial pillar of its work going forward!”
IS PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI NEPOTISTIC?
Although some Buhari antagonists have consistently claimed that he was the President of Northern Nigeria, BUT no one can take it away from PMB that he is totally committed to the doctrine of ONE NIGERIA for the following undisputable facts:
He fought the Biafra War on the side of the Federal troops to keep Nigeria united!
He proscribed IPOB as a terrorist organization!
He ensured equitable distribution of Capital Projects in South East Geo-Political Zone!
He did not reject Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, who defected en-mass with his cabinet/legislators into the ruling APC Government!
Actualizing the Second Niger Bridge, initiated by ex-president Aremu Obasanjo’s PDP, Administration; etc, etc!
He gave an order that herdsmen caught with AK 47 Rifles should be shot at sight!
BUHARI’S INDEPENDENCE BROADCAST!
*We are winning the battle against banditry, terrorism, etc. due to change of strategy which moved the onslaught to the enemies bases!
*Over 17,000 recruits were recruited to strengthen the Armed Forces while 10,000 are being recruited over the next six years into the Police Force to ensure strong security base.
*The UNITY of Nigeria is non-negotiable!
*Nigerians should embrace PEACE and shun bloodshed!
*Government will soon unravel financiers of secessionists – including one of them believed to be a member of the National Assembly!
*Official ban on Twitter (internet service provider), would be lifted once it met set conditions.
*The President blamed FOOD PRICE INFLATION on middlemen who purchase in large consignments and hoard to create artificial scarcity for maximum gains.
*He directed security agencies, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Department including National Assembly to move against the national malaise! NIGERIA WILL REMAIN UNITED AND INDIVISIBLE ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD! AMEN. [PSALM 133:1-3].
