Alhaji Bola Tinubu shot himself in the foot during the 2023 Presidential Campaign when he boasted of fixing the age-long electricity quagmire in the space of FOUR YEARS or be shown the exit door! As we predicted in our last week’s Edition 617, pages 3-4, his major concern at the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9), was not in the interest of the downtrodden but to borrow more money to  fester his presidential ego and WE have been proved right!

 

OFFICIAL NEWS REPORT: 22nd August 2025.

 

Federal Government is in advanced discussions with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for a $238 million loan aimed at expanding Nigeria’s electricity transmission network and strengthening the national grid.

The talks formed part of Nigeria’s engagements at the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) in Yokohama, Japan, where President Bola Tinubu led the delegation, accompanied by the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and other officials.

 

According to Adelabu:

1)    The proposed JICA loan builds on the ₦19 billion counterpart funding recently approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC). The financing will support:102.95km of new 330kV double circuit (DC) transmission lines; 104.59km of new 132kV DC lines; Four 330/132/33kV substations; Two 132/33kV substations; and Bay extensions at existing 330kV and 132kV substations. 2)    Beyond grid expansion, there are plans for a separate $190 million renewable energy loan facility supported by JICA to accelerate deployment of SOLAR MINI-GRIDS AND STANDALONE SYSTEMS IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES.

3)    This complements the recently launched $750 million World Bank Distributed Access through Renewable Energy (DARES) Program, which targets clean electricity for 17 million Nigerians under the Mission 300 Compact. Adelabu noted that only 60% of Nigerians currently have access to electricity, much of WHICH IS UNRELIABLE.

 

WHERE IS THE POWER? OBASANJO, JONATHAN AND BUHARI FAILED TO FIX NIGERIA’S ELECTRICITY CHALLENGE WHICH TINUBU HOPES TO FIX IN FOUR YEARS!

 

In May 2018, the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, (SERAP) urged President Muhammadu Buhari to “urgently refer the allegations of mismanagement of $16 billion power projects between 1999 and 2007 to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for further investigation, and if there is relevant and sufficient admissible evidence, for anyone suspected to be involved to face prosecution.”

The organization also urged Buhari to “refer to the EFCC and ICPC not just allegations regarding the $16 billion power projects but also the alleged squandering of over N11 trillion meant to provide regular electricity supply covering the governments of former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Musa Yar‘Adua and Goodluck Jonathan.”

 Buhari in May 2018, accused Obasanjo of spending $16bn on power projects during his tenure as the President without corresponding power supply to Nigerians. But responding, Obasanjo said the President’s allegation was rooted in ignorance, claiming he was already cleared of any wrongdoing concerning the power sector by the National Assembly, and referring Buhari to his autobiography, “My Watch”, which he said reproduced various reports on the matter.

“The total estimated financial loss to Nigeria from corruption in the electricity sector starting from the return to democracy in 1999 to date is over Eleven Trillion Naira (N11 Trillion Naira). This represents public funds, private equity and social investment (or divestments) in the power sector. It is estimated that may reach over Twenty Trillion Naira (N20 Trillion Naira) in the next decade given the rate of Government investment and funding in the power sector amidst dwindling fortune and recurrent revenue shortfalls.”

[In spite of all the HUE AND CRY by SERAP and all well-meaning Nigerians, Buhari handed over to Tinubu and the ROT CONTINUES UNABATED]!

THERE WAS ALSO THE HALLIBURTON BRIBERY SCANDAL OF USD$6 BILLION- DOLLAR CONTRACT IN WHICH SIEMENS WAS INVOLVED!

The scandal dates back to 1994 when the Nigerian Military Government launched ambitious plans to build the Bonny Island Natural Liquefied Gas Project.

 A network of secretive banks and offshore tax havens was used to funnel $182 million in bribes to Nigerian officials in exchange for $6 billion in engineering and construction work for an international consortium of companies that included a then Halliburton subsidiary.

 In 2010, Nigeria indicted former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, who was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Halliburton before he was elected, only to later clear him when Halliburton worked out a $35 million settlement. Other companies allegedly involved in the scandal included SIEMENS AG; TSKJ, Technip of France: Snamprogetti of Italy; Kellog, Brown and Roots of the U.S; JAPAN GAS CORPORATION (JGC); and construction giant, JULIUS BERGER, which was accused of acting as a conduit for the illegal transfer of $5 million to an alleged beneficiary.

Also, a 2010 Nigerian government document reportedly included three former Nigerian Presidents, a Vice-President, a Minister, Intelligence Chiefs and Corporate Titans in a list of bribery beneficiaries. While there had been indictment and conviction of foreign companies and their top executives in Europe and America over the scandal, the beneficiaries from Nigeria are yet to be fished out and sanctioned TO DATE!

NIGERIA STILL BORROWS FROM GERMANY AND JAPAN WHICH WERE COMPLICIT IN HALLIBURTON SCANDAL!

 

Birds of a feather! Alhaji Bola Tinubu was privy to the fact that Military Corruption should not be incorporated into the “THE JUNE 12 EMANCIPATION STRUGGLE” of which he claimed “participation” but from all indication, he is only interested in the LETTER AND NOT THE SPIRIT of the Democratic Mandate!

1)    The Corrupt Portfolio Contractors are fleecing the Economy through regular repatriation of Profits to their Home Countries UNHINDERED!

2)    Germany and Japan have NEITHER INDUSTRIAL NOR PRODUCTION COMMITMENTS IN NIGERIA. Over the years they dominated both spaces of execution OF GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS AND EXPORTATION OF THEIR FINISHED PRODUCTS which raw materials were initially sourced from the country!

AND WHEREAS, in 15 months under Tinubu’s Watch, electricity tariffs have jumped by over 250%, the National Grid collapsed more than 15 times and in spite of the Band A-E clarification, Nigerians still pay for darkness!

Adelabu claimed that 60% of Nigerians enjoy regular power supply when in truth more than 80 million Nigerians still lack electricity!

 

SOLAR ENERGY WILL NOW REPLACE BOLA TINUBU’S ELECTORAL PROMISE OF HYDRO ELECTRICITY FOR NIGERIANS!

Starting with the State House, Abuja, Nigerians may now begin to enjoy regular POWER SUPPLY through Solar Energy Installations!

In spite of massive public outcry against such reckless expenditure, the Alhaji has officially awarded a humongous NGN10 billion naira Contract for the construction of SOLAR ENERGY FACILITY for the Presidential Villa, Abuja and work had begun in earnest!

We will not be surprised if the Contract is being executed by the Germany and Japan Companies!

With this new development, Hospitals, Schools, public and private enterprises SHOULD NOW ENJOY UNINTERRUPTED 24-HOUR POWER TO FULFILL  ALHAJI’S PROMISE BEFORE THE 2027 ELECTION – and  there would be no need for BANDS A, B, C, D, E CAMOUFLAGE!

BUT ALHAJI might have to go back CAP IN HAND to Japan to negotiate for FRESH LOANS which UNBORN Nigerian generations would be forced to pay back or SWAP WITH CRITICAL NATIONAL ASSETS WHEN THE CULPRIT AND HIS COHORTS WOULD HAVE BEEN LONG GONE!

BOLA TINUBU SHOULD NOT PASS OVER A ROCK LIKE A SNAKE WITHOUT LEAVING A TRACE!

TINUBU REPLICATES OBASANJO’S RASCALITY ON STATE ALLOCATION SEIZURE!

On Friday, December 20, 2004, the Supreme Court of Nigeria which is the Apex Court in this country and which also has original jurisdiction to adjudicate on all matters between the Federal Government and any of the state governments and vice versa, delivered a judgment in favour of the Lagos State government in Suit No. SC. 70/2004 between the Attorney-General of Lagos State and Attorney-General of the Federation.

It was a full panel of the Apex Court, presided over by no less an outstanding jurist than the Honourable Justice Muhammadu Lawal Uwais, Chief Justice of Nigeria.

Lagos State government with Governor Alhaji Bola Tinubu at the helm of affairs briefed a team of lawyers under the leadership of the late legal icon, Chief F.R.A. Williams, SAN, the Attorney-General of Lagos State and challenge the action of the Federal Government at the Supreme Court.

 

 Each of the Justices of the Supreme Court unequivocally held that the President does not have the power or vested with the jurisdiction to order the withholding or suspension of any payment of allocation from the Federation Accounts to local governments councils or to state governments on behalf of the local government councils as provided by section 162 (3) of the 1999 Constitution.

 

EXCEPTS OF JUDGMENT AS REPORTED IN (2004) 18 NWLR (PT. 904) 1.

 

At page 91, paragraphs E – H to page 92, paragraphs A – B of the report, the Chief Justice of Nigeria enthused in a very clear and lucid manner that: “Mr. President does not have the power which he claimed to have exercised in his letter to the Finance Minister.”

At page 99 paragraphs (C – D), Kutigi, JSC. opined thus:

“It appears to me that nowhere in the Constitution is the President expressly or impliedly authorized to suspend or withhold the statutory allocation payable to Lagos State pursuant to section 162(5) of the constitution on the ground of the complaints made by the Federal Government in this action or any ground at all.

“If the President has any grievance with any tier of government, he should go to court. He cannot kill them by withholding their statutory allocations. That will be brutal indeed.”

At pages 110 -11 paragraphs G – Uwaifo, J.S.C., held that: “It does not appear to me that there is any power conferred on the President to decide to withhold any allocation on the basis of a conceived breach of the constitution by any of the three tiers.

“It seems to me also that the allocation principle of funds to local government councils in each state is such that the amount payable does not increase simply because a House of Assembly has created more local government areas in the state. To take that into account will simply encourage the proliferation of local government areas for the main aim of earning more revenue. That cannot be right or equitable.”

 

WHY HAS TINUBU WITHHELD OSUN STATE REVENUE ALLOCATION?

 

 Review of a document released by the Office of the Accountant General shows that the total amount yet to be released to the state government stands at ₦46.9 billion as at June 2025.

The stalemate is linked to the controversy in Osun State over who the authentic local government chairmen were – whether of the former APC Administration or the new PDP of Governor Ademola Adeleke!

In March, the State was expected to receive ₦11.9 billion; the amounts for April, May, and June were ₦11.2 billion, ₦11.7 billion, and ₦12.1 billion, respectively.

BU reports have it that the Federal Government had withheld Osun State’s local government allocations since March 2025 due to the Tinubu administration’s insistence that only APC-recognized local government chairmen be acknowledged in the state.

It was gathered that following the alleged “controversial” local government election conducted by the Governor Ademola Adeleke-led administration—which displeased the Federal Government - the allocations meant for the state’s LGAs were subsequently suspended by the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.

Reports revealed that during the Presidential intervention, the APC-recognized chairmen, with support from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Osogbo, attempted to open LGA Accounts without the State Government’s input but was blocked by the Osun State government.

A Local Government source has disclosed that their allocations in the state had been withheld for four months as at June 2025. Tinubu is aware that he has neither moral or constitutional justification to withhold any State’s fiscal Allocations because he fought against the anomaly in 2004 and WON AT THE SUPREME COURT

TINUBU’S BRAGADDO DURING 2023 ELECTION CAMPAIGNS!

 

THE presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu in Benin City, Edo State said the seizure of the revenue of Lagos State by former president, Olusegun Obasanjo triggered his intellectual capacity and those of his lieutenants to make Lagos what it is today and therefore, appealed to Nigerians to vote for him, assuring that he will bring prosperity, create jobs and secure Nigerians if elected. (6^th January 2023).

 “Trust me, I am an expert in finding the way where there is no way. I found a way to tame the Atlantic ocean and turned it into a money-making machine. I found a way to stop the killing drainages to channelization and prosperity. I have done many things. I have the power of thinking and doing.”

“Obasanjo seized our salaries, local government monies. Do you call that person a good or a wicked man? So, if he says he endorsed somebody, is it not poison that he is giving to you? One who doesn’t know the way cannot show the way. He is endorsing Obi (Peter) but he doesn’t know the road,” he said. 

 

ADELEKE’S DYNASTY NOW PAYS OSUN STATE WORKERS!

 

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, has revealed that Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, and his family, including music star David Adeleke (popularly known as Davido), personally funded the payment of workers’ salaries in the state for several months due to withheld local government allocations.

George made the disclosure during an interview on Nigeria FM Info on Saturday, August 16, 2025, while addressing speculations about Governor Adeleke’s alleged plans to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

When asked about the governor’s political direction, George said: “I had had an in-depth discussion with him, and the first time we spoke, he called me and informed me that he would be leaving the party. I was hell-shocked, and I said to him, Your Excellency, please think very carefully. And deeply, too.

Pressed further on whether the governor and his family truly paid workers from their personal resources, George replied: “Yeah. For the last five, six months. They haven’t received a single drop although the Court ruled in their favor”!

George revealed that during the last National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the PDP, Governor Adeleke reaffirmed his loyalty to the party.

“And he came to me. He said, Baba, thank you, sir. I am not leaving this party. So I held him,” George recounted.

 

TINUBU MUST BACK-PEDAL NOW AND GIVE ONTO OSUN WHAT BELONGS TO OSUN!

 

Eight days before he embarked on another international jamboree to Japan and Brazil on Friday 15^th August 2025, speculation was rife that Alhaji Tinubu was indisposed and could not attend several State functions!

But as usual, his spokespersons dismissed the assertion and claimed that he worked from home and it was usual to delegate his Vice to represent him when necessary.

On Friday, President BAT emerged from his cocoon and boarded the controversial USD$100 million dollar jet purchased amidst exceeding poverty/suffering /pain in the land and departed into thin air!

When will he return? Possibly when he has borrowed more money to maintain Presidential status quo!

The State House eventually disclosed that President Bola Tinubu arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, FOR A BRIEF STOPOVER on his way to a two-nation working visit to Japan and Brazil.

At Yokohama, Japan, he will attend the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) from 20^th – 22th August 2025.

The Conference themed, “Co-create Innovative Solutions with Africa,” will explore strategies to drive Africa’s economic transformation, attract private investment, and build a resilient and sustainable continent anchored on peace and human security.

After Japan, Tinubu will proceed to Brazil for the second leg of his working visit.

The timeline of the Japan holiday was unspecified!

 

TINUBU CAN NEVER HAVE PEACE UNTIL HE DOES THE WILL OF GOD AND THE PEOPLE! WILLY NILLY HE MUST RELEASE OSUN’S FUNDS AND BEGIN THE PROCESS TO A PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA!

FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL WAS TASKMASTER’S INSURANCE FOR TWO TERMS!

Item ten of Tinubu’s Manifesto during the 2023 Presidential Campaign emphatically emphasized priority to, “establish a bold and assertive policy that will create a strong yet adaptive national security architecture and action to obliterate terror, kidnapping, banditry, and all other forms of violent extremism from the face of our nation.”

Fifteen months into office INSECURITY ESCALATED in outrageous proportions and over 10.000 people were killed, larger numbers injured while multiple thousands are languishing in Internally Displaced Camps across the country!

 

The escalation of insecurity is traceable to the deliberate removal of fuel subsidy on 29^th May 2023, by the Judiciary -proclaimed winner with the clandestine aim of:

 

1)    SECURING SURE SUPPLY OF MONIES FROM SUBSIDY SAVINGS TO BRIBE STATE GOVERNORS AND ENSURE THEIR UNALLOYED SUPPORT FOR A SECOND TERM!

2)    ALSO TO LURE MASSES SUPPORT THROUGH REGULAR DONATIONS IN TIMES OF REGULAR DISASTERS WHICH WERE FALLOUTS OF THE SUBSIDY REMOVAL – NOT HINGED ON ANY FORM OF PALLIATIVE STRUCTURES!

3)    TINUBU IS ROBBING PETER TO PAY PAUL AND IT IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE!

The strategy of Alhaji was akin to that of the Egyptian Task Master who squeezed sweat and blood out of unfortunate Israeli Captives to build his Empire! (Exodus 5:6-9).

In the Bible, particularly in the book of Exodus, “taskmasters” refer to Egyptian officials appointed by Pharaoh to oppress the Israelites through forced labor.

They were responsible for ensuring the Israelites met their quotas in building projects, such as the cities of Pithom and Rameses and their harsh treatment and excessive demands contributed significantly to the Israelites’ suffering and their cries for deliverance.

 

BOLA TINUBU’S POLITICAL GAME PLAN IS IDENTICAL TO PHARAOH’S WHO MUST KEEP THE PEOPLE IN SERVITUDE TO PERPETUATE AUTHORITY!

1)    He has been an active politician as Executive Governor of Lagos State (1999-2007), the ruling All Progressives Congress Leader (2015-2023), and now Executive President of Nigeria (2023-2025) – positions that gave him absolute administrative knowledge for positive governance.

2)    As an acclaimed “CHICAGO ACCOUNTANT”, he held sway over the Lagos State’s Economy through a massive TAX REGIME in spite of President Obasanjo’s 3-year-blockage of his State’s Federal Revenue Allocations.

3)    He has now  applied the same strategy as President through  a cleverly – manipulated FOUR PRESIDENTIAL TAX REFORM BILLS TO BE FORCED ON THE MASSES – effective from 1^st January 2026 – in spite of massive objections!

4)    In the meantime, Alhaji and his Wife Remi Tinubu have been deceiving the entire Citizenry through their manipulative RENEWED HOPE AGENDA DONATIONS OF FUEL SUBSIDY SAVINGS IN TRILLIONS OF NAIRA!

5)    AND IN ADDITION TO THE SUBSIDY SAVINGS INLAND REVENUE TASKMASTERS WILL SWING INTO OPERATION FROM JANUARY 2026 TO ENFORCE THE NEW TAX REGIME AND ENSURE THAT THERE WOULD BE MORE THAN SUFFICIENT FUNDS (FROM THE SWEAT AND BLOOD OF THE DOWNTRODDEN), FOR HIM TO BULLDOZE HIS WAY INTO A SECOND TERM!

6)    ALTHOUGH HE PERSONALLY DISCLOSED THAT A WHOOPING SUM OF ONE TRILLION NAIRA WOULD BE SAVED MONTHLY FROM THE SUBSIDY REMOVAL, HE HAS NEITHER GIVEN ACCOUNT OF DISBURSEMENT NOR MONTHLY BALANCE OF THE SAVINGS!

7)     MINISTER OF AVIATION AND AEROSPACE, FESTUS KEYAMO RECENTLY DISCLOSED THAT THE SUM OF NGN712 BILLION NAIRA FROM THE SUBSIDY SAVINGS WOULD BE DISBURSED TO RE-BUILD LAGOS AIRPORT! (Maybe he is the Treasurer of the Special Account which Mr. President has kept secret since June 2023)!

8)     THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF SUBSIDY SAVINGS FROM JUNE 2023-AUGUST 2025, SHOULD BE NGN14 TRILLION NAIRA! THIS AMOUNT COUPLED WITH INTENSIVE INTERNALLY GENERATED REVENUES (IGRS), DEVOID OF INSTITUTIONAL EXTRAVAGANT EXPENDITURES, SHOULD KEEP THE COUNTRY AFLOAT UNTIL A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM IS ESTABLISHED!

 

QUESTION: Was it not high time Alhaji rendered account of stewardship of the Subsidy Savings and STOP EMBARRASSING NIGERIANS WITH FOREIGN & LOCAL BORROWINGS?

 

COMMENTS:

*Two years as President, Tinubu’s policies have set Nigerians back into the abyss of pain, agony, poverty, catastrophic insecurity and seething anger among a population that has been pushed beyond its limits!

*In spite of the fact that he was knowledgeable of the agony of poverty in the land and the gargantuan insecurity across the nation, he stubbornly refused to introduce the ONE HOUSE (UNICAMERAL) PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THAT WOULD HAVE DOUSED INSECURITY FROM THE ONSET!

* He totally forgot that he aggressively demanded to become President through his political jingle of “Emi lokan” (meaning it’s my turn), but has showed his true color of Pharaoh Oppression by arbitrarily removing THE FUEL SUBSIDY on his inauguration day without a Cabinet in place!

The primary role of the EGYPTIAN TASKMASTER’S was to enforce the will of Pharaoh by imposing heavy labor quotas on the Israelites. They were tasked with making the Israelites work harder, even when they were deprived of essential materials like straw for brick-making!

The Book of Exodus 5:6-9 details how Pharaoh appointed taskmasters to “afflict them with burdens” and how the taskmasters increased their workload by demanding the same number of bricks despite the lack of straw.

Title: “Fuel Subsidy Windfall without Impact.”

 

“When President Bola Tinubu ended the fuel subsidy during his inauguration on May 29, 2023, it was hailed as a bold and necessary step toward fiscal reform.

“The move promised to free trillions of naira from an unsustainable subsidy regime, redirecting these funds to critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, and healthcare that have long suffered neglect.

“Nigerians were assured that this sacrifice would translate into real, tangible improvements in their daily lives.

“Yet, two years on, this promise remains largely unfulfilled. Despite a historic surge in government revenues, the average Nigerian has yet to feel the benefits.

“In 2024, the Federation Account Allocation Committee distributed N28.78 trillion to the three tiers of government, representing a 79 per cent increase from the previous year. This was mainly due to the removal of fuel subsidies and adjustments in exchange rate policies.

“State governments saw their allocations jump by 45.5 per cent to N5.22 trillion. Even as recently as May 2025, monthly distributions exceeded N1.6 trillion, marking a 72 per cent increase compared to the same period two years earlier.

“Such an influx of funds should have offered a once-in-a-generation opportunity for states to reset their development priorities and invest in the foundations of growth.

“Instead, Nigerians continue to grapple with dilapidated infrastructure, underfunded schools, inadequate healthcare, and a worsening poverty crisis.

“According to a joint report by the World Bank and Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics, over 129 million Nigerians now live below the poverty line, an increase of 25 million in just one year.

“The World Economic Forum’s 2024 rankings place Nigeria 130^th out of 141 countries in infrastructure quality, underscoring the yawning gap between resources and results.”

 

AND YET NIGERIA REMAINS A DEBTOR NATION!

 

Nigeria’s total public debt rose to N149.39tn as of March 31, 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of N27.72tn or 22.8 per cent compared to the N121.67tn recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.

The figure, released by the Debt Management Office on 8^th August 2025, also reflects a quarter-on-quarter increase of N4.72tn or 3.3 per cent from N144.67tn as at December 31, 2024.

The persistent rise in debt stock is attributed to new borrowings by the Federal Government and the depreciation of the naira, which inflated the local currency value of external loans.

 

UBA SANI’S CAMARADERIE WITH TINUBU BECAUSE OF SUBSIDY MONEY!

 

Media Reports confirmed Uba Sani’s unalloyed loyalty and endorsement for continuity of TINUBU in 2027 whom he claimed bailed his State out of bankruptcy through “large sums of money he appropriated in over two years to revamp the economy, improve the security architecture and re-develop Kaduna State!”

He says “Tinubu is the first Nigerian leader to offer true and direct support to sub-national governments, especially in the wake of economic hardship triggered by fuel subsidy removal”!

 

MRS. ONE BILLION NAIRA DONOR!

 

Wife of the President, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N12.9 billion in two years as “humanitarian gesture” to mitigate the hardship and sufferings which her husband inflicted on over 200 million Citizens of Nigeria since 29^th May 2023 through an arbitrary fuel subsidy removal!

Her so-called philanthropy and humanitarian donations which were carried out under the platform of her pet project, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), or in her personal capacity NO DOUBT AMOUNTS TO LOCKING A GATE WHEN THE ANIMALS HAVE BOLTED!

Let us imagine that fuel subsidy was not removed and Alhaji Tinubu who claimed to be part of the JUNE 12 ACTIVISM at inauguration declared that he would begin the process of changing his government into the ONE HOUSE PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM, Nigeria’s Economy would have become exceedingly buoyant and insecurity would have been at its minimal!

NOT GOVERNMENT MONEY!

Mrs Tinubu has consistently said that the funds are not from government coffers but are sourced through her Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).

QUESTION: Are Donors to Remi’s RHI not her husband’s contractors/cronies?

 

“OFFICE OF THE FIRST LADY HAS NO CONSTITUTIONAL  ALLOCATION.

 

 Remi may claim that her pet project was a personal venture but she is a public figure therefore subject to SCRUTINY AND ACCOUNTABILITY!

 IGBO'S DESERVE A BETTER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE THAN PETER GREGORY OBI!

The Nigeria Labor Party Presidential Candidate at the 2023 election, Peter Obi, should not be considered as a serious representative of the Igbo Race considering his political antecedents and his current disposition of jumping ship in desperation!

First, he despised his small beginnings with APGA which gave him political relevance as two-term governor of Anambra State, punctuated by an impeachment between March 2006 and March 2014 but defected to the corrupt, ruling PDP mega party at the Federal level shortly before the 2015 General Elections!

Second, not satisfied as a second fiddle to Atiku Abubakar throughout Late Muhammad Buhari’s eight-year tenure – 2015-2023, he again jumped ship to the Labor Party which successfully gave the ruling APC a run for their money by coming third in a manipulated election to Bola Tinubu who garnered only 36.6% to become Nigeria's 16th President!

Third, in another desperate bid, Peter Obi has now joined the collapsed associations of vampires and predators labeled African Democratic Party (ADC), and has promised to spend one tenure of FOUR YEARS if flagged as presidential candidate!

Fourth, though he shows concern about Nigeria’s economic downturn, yet most of his business activities are tied to foreign investments and his accounts secured in OFF-SHORE Islands!

The IGBO’S have always foisted the impression that the Igbos were yet to occupy the number one seat and whereas both Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe and Major General Aguiyi Ironsi were both Nigerian President and Military Head of State respectively between 1960-1966!

While would Peter Obi in his widest imagination think that the incumbent will hand over power to an opposition candidate without a fight!

Was his decision of one-term presidency a collective Ndigbo strategy?

What stops Peter Obi from waiting until the year 2039, when the North-South rotation would favor him better?

IS PETER OBI NOT COUNTING HIS CHICKS BEFORE THE EGGS ARE HATCHED?

His political colleagues of strange bed fellows have called him out to go before A SHRINE AND SWEAR TO KEEP THE PLEDGE – a suggestion which he vehemently rejected!

GOING DOWN THE MEMORY LANE – EVENTS OF NIGERIA'S FIRST MILITARY COUP ORGANIZED MAINLY BY SOLDIERS OF IGBO EXTRACTION, THE REPRISAL COUP, THE 30-MONTH-CIVIL WAR AND THE PERSISTENT DEMAND FOR SECESSION BY NNAMDI KANU, ARE STILL VERY FRESH IN THE MINDS OF NIGERIANS!

The July 15, 1966 reprisal killings, also known as the “July Counter-Coup,” were a series of retaliatory attacks by Northern Nigerian soldiers against Igbo soldiers and civilians.

These events were a direct response to the January 15, 1966 coup, which was perceived by some as an Igbo-led attempt to dominate the country. The counter-coup resulted in the deaths of many Igbo officers and civilians, further escalating ethnic tensions and ultimately contributing to the Nigerian Civil War.

That first coup targeted prominent Northern politicians and military figures, including the Prime Minister and the Premier of the Northern Region.

The July counter-coup was organized by Northern officers, notably Lt. Colonel Murtala Muhammed, in response to the perceived Igbo aggression and the perceived failure of the January coup to achieve its objectives.

The counter-coup involved widespread killings of Igbo soldiers and civilians in the North while the killings deepened ethnic divisions and mistrust between the North and the East.

Many Igbos fled to the Eastern Region, fearing for their safety, and ultimately leading to the declaration of the Republic of Biafra, and the subsequent 30-month long Nigerian Civil War.

GENERAL AGUIYI IRONSI, NIGERIA’S FIRST MILITARY HEAD OF STATE WAS KILLED IN THE REPRISAL ATTACK!

In January 1967, Major General Aguiyi-Ironsi was giving a befitting State burial in his hometown of Umuahia-Ibeku, Eastern Nigeria with full military honors following his death in the July 29, 1966, coup. The ceremony took place in his hometown, Ibeku-Umuahia, in present-day Abia state.

And on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of his demise this year, Abia State governor, Dr. Alex Otti used the occasion of the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration held at the Aguiyi-Ironsi Cenotaph, Ogurube layout, Umuahia, to honour the memories and sacrifices of those brave servicemen who died in active duty in different parts of the State in the last one year.

NNAMDI KANU PERSISTENT DEMAND FOR A BIAFRA STATE – IN SPITE OF - “NO VICTOR, NO VANQUISHED” DECLARATION IS ANOTHER ALBATROSS TO PETER OBI’S INORDINATE AMBITION!

Though Nnamdi Kanu is incarcerated and has been on trial for Treason since October 2021, he had made life unbearable for the very citizens he claims to be agitating for “their liberation from Nigeria”- through escalated insecurity situation in the Five Eastern States! There is a blanket weekly BAN on Mondays and Tuesdays trading in all markets with death penalties on defaulters!

Merciless murders of kidnapped victims in spite of paid ransoms has become a norm!

THE NUMBER THREE OBSTACLE IS THE DECEIT BY PDP CHIEFTAIN JERRY GANA OF OBI’S VICTORY UNDER HIS PARTY’S BANNER!

A founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prof. Jerry Gana, has claimed that former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi would defeat any contender in Nigeria’s northern states if he contested on the PDP platform.

Speaking on Arise TV’s Prime Time on Wednesday, Gana said, “I’m a researcher, and I research opinions. In the northern states, Peter Obi under the PDP will defeat any candidate, because our people are very fair‑minded.”

Peter Obi quit the PDP in May 2022 to lead the Labor Party during the 2023 elections.

Reflecting on the PDP’s roots, the Prof. Gana reminded Nigerians of the party’s grassroots strength and its pivotal role in restoring democratic governance.

“Many people have forgotten that the PDP won most of the local governments. When it came to the presidential elections, we won the presidency, we won the Senate, and we won the House. We were totally in control, and that is why we were very delighted that we restored democracy to Nigeria and re‑established civil rule.”

But Prof. Gana totally forgot that Peter Obi’s Labor Party came THIRD with 6,101,633 votes mostly in the SOUTH at the 2023 Presidential Election and garnered few votes from the NORTH!

Gana, who served in key positions during Nigeria’s transition to democracy, including Minister of Information and Cooperation from 1999–2003 under President Obasanjo, also hinted that; “In 2031, it will be the turn of the North. Our people are very fair, and we are building a nation.

Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, won the contest, having scored 8,794,726 votes ahead of Obi; and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who came second, scored 6,984,520 votes.

PETER OBI IS NOT AS PATRIOTIC AS HE IS POSING – HE HAS BILLIONS OF DOLLARS STATCHED AWAY IN OFF SHORE ACCOUNTS BECAUSE HE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN NIGERIA LIKE HIS COMPATRIOTS – BOLA TINUBU AND ATIKU ABUBAKAR!

Nigerians are fed up with political charlatans who have kept the Citizens in bondage since independence.

Like 64-year-old Peter Obi, Nigeria is older than most of them who should with historical advantage at the least OPT FOR THE REGIONAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM TRUNCATED THROUGH THE BARRELS OF THE GUNS AND IN GRADUAL PROCESS DEMAND FOR A FULL-BLOWN ONE-HOUSE (UNICAMERAL) ARRANGEMENT THAT WILL ACCOMMODATE EVERYBODY AND USHER PERMANENT TRANQUILITY TO ALL AND SUNDRY!

Peter Obi could still back-pedal and the PATRIOTS to demand for GOOD GOVERNANCE!
