65 YEARS OF OLIGARCHY LIARS IN NIGERIA!
“As it was in the time of Obasanjo, so it was in the time of Buhari and so it is in the time of Tinubu – LIARS WITHOUT END!”
1) Outside of the Siemens and the Haliburton Corruption Scandals, ex-Military President, Olusegun Obasanjo was accused of misappropriating USD$16 billion dollars on the Power Sector but with nothing on ground to show for it!
2) During the Yar Adua/Jonathan continuation of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Administration, a lot of dust was raised on how humongous undocumented funds were allegedly expended to douse Militancy in the Niger Delta Oil-Rich Region of the Federation!
3) Another Military President, Late Muhammadu Buhari rode on the crest of ANTI-CORRUPTION CAMPAIGN TO RULE FOR EIGHT YEARS AND LEFT THE STABLE WORSE THAN HE MET IT!
4) Alhaji “Emi ‘lokan” Bola Tinubu, now in the Saddle for just TWO YEARS AND FOUR MONTHS, has shattered all records of Maladministration, Corruption, Insecurity, Outrageous and Very Brazen Concoction of Naked Lies that can only emerge from the PIT OF HELL!
While International Index scores Nigeria as the worst global crime-infested country and some Republican United States Senators have unanimously requested that Nigeria be Re- Designated, “Country Of Particular Concern” because of terrorists onslaught on Christians, Alhaji Jagaban says “insecurity had been subdued in the country!”
The lawmakers have alleged that Christians are being subjected to massive violence in Nigeria and have written to the United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio, urging him to consider re-designating Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” (CPC) under the International Religious Freedom Act (IRFA), citing what they described as “continued unchecked acts of violence and terrorism against religious minorities” in the country.
The Lawmakers are alleging that the Christians are being subjected to massive violence in Nigeria and requested that President Donald Trump be given additional authority to take specific actions to address the continued unchecked acts of violence and terrorism against religious minorities perpetrated by non-state actors in Nigeria.
The Senators referenced several deadly incidents in Nigeria, including mass killings and kidnappings targeting Christians.
“In May 2024, al-Qaeda-affiliated Ansaru gunmen reportedly kidnapped 160 mainly Christian children and killed eight people in Niger State but later released the abducted children…..in Niger State, suspected bandits killed 10 farmers, including Christians, and in August, bandits reportedly killed 70 Christians and kidnapped 20 students in separate attacks in Benue State.”
They added: “Most recently, in late June 2025, reports suggest that at least 200 Christians in Nigeria were brutally killed by terrorists in Benue State.”
This same report suggests that Nigeria is one of the most dangerous places in the world to be Christian, citing 3,100 of the 4,476 Christians killed during their reporting period lived in Nigeria.”
BUT TINUBU SAYS NIGERIA IS AT PEACE AND WORKING PERFECTLY!
“…all LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Rev.21:18b).
The Lake of Fire is also reserved for the “fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters”!
Those described in the biblical scripture are the military surrogates who forced the Presidential System of Government on an already traumatized citizenry and flaunted illicit wealth through forceful rule, extravagant lifestyle and abominable dispositions!
Citizens have dwelt under trepidation in the hands of various Nigerian political administrations from 1999 – 2025, without any sign of hope at the end of the tunnel!
TINUBU’S 65th INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY BROADCAST ARE FURTHER COMPILATION OF LIES!
President Bola Tinubu insisted that security agencies under his watch “are winning the war against terrorism, banditry and other violent crimes” in spite of escalation of insecurity across the country!
Dare-devil armed robbers, kidnappers with sophisticated weapons in the past two years have invaded the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja in spite of heavy Military presence!
Speaking in a nationwide broadcast marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, he celebrated recent gains in liberated areas.
Tinubu cited the neutralization of over 15,000 insurgents, the arrests of Ansaru leaders, and killing of bandits’ kingpins as proof of momentum. Yet, fresh attacks continue in Borno, Niger, Kwara, Plateau, and other states, underlining how fragile and uneven security remains.
However an analysis of Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED), a global data hub that fact-checks conflict-related data, showed that 7,472 people were killed while 12,584 were abducted in President Tinubu’s two years leadership. This data, based on attacks from 29 May 2023 to 19 May 2025, focuses exclusively on deaths and abductions perpetrated by terror groups.
On security, Tinubu praised the military’s gallantry, claiming that Nigeria was winning the war against terrorism, banditry, and violent crime. He insisted that peace had returned to hundreds of liberated communities in the North-East and North-West.
Yet, only days before his speech, reports from several states across the country revealed deadly attacks by armed men.
In Kwara State alone, armed militia men killed about 12 people in the Oke-Ode community, including the Baale of Ogbayo, vigilante men and hunters.
AND in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, a tragic incident further portrayed the severity of unbridled insecurity when Miss. Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, a 29-year-old News Anchor, Reporter, and Producer for ARISE News Channel, as well as a lawyer, lost her life following an armed robbery at her residence in Katampe, Abuja, on Monday, September 29, 2025.
Kidnappings also remain high across highways and rural settlements, where insurgent splinters in the North-East continue to harass vulnerable communities!
AND whereas the President painted a picture of a nation poised for economic recovery and social renewal with claims that his reforms were yielding results, inflation declining, the naira stabilizing, and young people soaring on the wings of new government initiatives!
BUT in truth, Nigerians continue to grapple with the harsh realities of poverty, hunger, insecurity, and rising inequality, a very glaring contradiction to Tinubu’s broadcast in respect of everyday life across the country.
He also boasted of a fast-recovering economy, citing a GDP growth rate of 4.23 per cent in the second quarter of 2025, inflation falling to 20.12 per cent, and record-breaking non-oil revenue mobilization and described Nigeria as “now a net exporter” with diversified trade, growing foreign reserves, and a stabilized currency.
However, analysts have consistently maintained that food prices remain incredibly high, with staples such as rice, maize, and garri still out of reach for millions of households adding that the so-called decline in inflation offers no comfort when salary growth remains stagnant, unemployment continues to rise, and informal jobs dominate the labor market.
While the government touts a trade surplus and increased oil production, ordinary citizens are more concerned with survival, coping with the high cost of transportation, epileptic power supply, and dilapidated or non-existent infrastructure.
