For SEVEN consecutive years retired Major General President Muhammadu Buhari and his Cabal- in-Council kept chanting a broken record that their political Party inherited a virtually empty treasury in 2015 when they took over the mantle of leadership in Nigeria!

From the biblical Book of Genesis to Revelation, the number Seven (7) symbolises the nature/state of perfection and completeness – a fact that is universally acceptable by all Faiths, races and kindred’s of the Earth.

But for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Administration, tales of woes and calamities characterized by failure in actualizing dividends of democracy through ineptitude, impunity, corruption, insecurity, bloodshed and total impoverisation of the entire population in SEVEN worst years ever witnessed in Nigeria (except for the politicians) whose salaries and allowances and larger-than-life lifestyle had never CHANGED!

THEY MANIPULATED NIGERIANS – ESPECIALLY THE YOUTHS - IN 2015 SAYS  BISHOP MATTHEW HASSAN KUKAH!

Catholic Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Sokoto Diocese turned 70 years on the 31st August 2022 and made the following scathing statements on NIGERIAN POLITICS tagged” Nigeria’s Unfinished Greatness: Next Steps”, at the commissioning of KUKAH CENTRE through a panel of discussants and also in a special interview on ARISE NEWS.

1) In the seventh/eighth years, Nigeria ran a political system that is a combination of theocracy and of feudalism. It is a system that is so complex and convoluting that it cannot pass the test of democracy.

2) Since the concept of leadership is increasingly being redefined as a result of globalisation the world is no longer focusing on who your father or your mother is or what your town is. The world is now focusing on what is in your brain - your brainpower - your ability, your capacity to govern the world by sheer brain not brawn. This is also the reality of politics in Africa.

3) He said it was important for the political actors particularly the 2023 presidential candidates to listen to the young people understand their frustration and align their agenda toward assuaging their grievances because the 2015 misplaced passions have dissipated through the instrumentality of religious deceit and manipulation which was described as “jihad”!The forthright and out-spoken man of God said it was the worst type of fraud for any politician to promise undiscerning youths the establishment of either an Islamic or Christian State in Nigeria!

4) Ethnicity was the other 2015 LIE which the desperate politicians employed to further diversify the fragile tolerance and successfully pitched citizens against one another in multiple clashes that snuffed out thousands of innocent lives!

THE CLERIC AMONG OTHER THINGS ALSO SAID THAT NEW GENERATION POLITICIANS SHOULD MOVE TO THE NOOKS AND CRANNIES OF NIGERIA TO SELL THEIR CONVICTIONS BECAUSE THE ENERGY OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR ATTENTION TO THE COUNTRY'S ELECTION MUST BE ADDRESSED IN ORDER TO SIFT THE RIGHT CANDIDATES TO GET THE DESIRED OUTCOME.

The word perfection is nowhere found in Nigeria’s economic lexicon because President Major General Buhari was already tired and completely SPENT at resumption of office in 2015!

 Having tried on three unsuccessful times to become a democratic president of Nigeria on the fourth occasion there was no more stamina left in the septuagenarian for him to run even a Local Government Area!

He said an assumption of office and we quote him: “I wish I became Head of State when I was a Governor just a few years as a young man. Now at 72 there's a limit to what I can do.” (He had served as a Military Governor at age 33 and Head of State at 40!)

The past 7 years of Buhari's administration have been characterised by the worst kind in the breakdown of law and order, terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, assassinations, attacks on correctional facilities, police stations military formations etc, that became endemic throughout the entire Six-geo political zones of the country!

Addicted borrowings (local and foreign ), which resulted in outrageous indebtedness that may not be redeemed in two to three generations after Buhari’s departure from office!

In all of these, international assessment indexes credited the country for being the POVERTY CAPITAL of the world due to massive corruption with impunity under his watch.

In spite of the abundant natural mineral resources in all States of Nigeria and especially of CRUDE OIL which had been the MainStay of the economy, organised OIL THEFT surreptitiously organised with the official connivance of those in authority thrived without restraint!

OPEC PRODUCTION QUOTA OF 2.3 MILLION BARRELS PER DAY CANNOT BE MET!

While other oil-producing nations are enjoying a windfall through volatile escalating oil prices  - a fallout of the UKRAINE-RUSSIA CONFLICT Nigerian leaders are lamenting that the new NNPCL is only operating on paper and cannot fulfill its obligations to the Nigerian taxpayers in respect of foreign exchange earnings.!

The out-going APC administration according to the Grapevine has  plan to falsify sales figures in respect of the OIL WINDFALL in order to rubbish a true perspective of the economy!

Although oil exports account for about 80% of Nigeria's foreign exchange Revenue: assuming that Nigeria could meet its production qouta and earn between USD$100-130 dollars per barrel in the Oil Boom, the difference between its 2022 Budget Oil Price Benchmark of USD$67 dollars (over 100%), would not be sufficient to SERVICE EXISTING DEBT RUNNING NGN45 TRILLION NAIRA!

We have it on good authority that very soon both OIL THEFT and PIPELINE VANDALIZATION will fizzle into the past because the Federal Government under the Watch of President Buhari is working with local contractors in the Niger Delta Area to engage repentant militants to protect this major asset of the Nation.

We want to believe that the effort will work out without any hitch and the dent created on foreign exchange earnings will be successfully ameliorated.

QUESTION: Will the ex-militants be faithful to agreement? As it is being rumoured that THE CONTRACT WAS A PLOY TO JETTISON THE CONSTITUTIONAL 13 % DERIVATIVE FORMULA FOR OIL-PRODUCING STATES AND DEMAND FOR “DERIVATIVE FORMULA”!

VICE PRESIDENT ‘YEMI OSINBAJO HEADS NIGERIA DELEGATION TO SEEK USD$410 BILLION DOLLARS TO ACTUALIZE THE TRANSITION PLAN TO A NEW GOVERNMENT IN 2023!

As a constitutional chairman of the National economic Council (NEC) Vice President ‘Yemi Osinbajo was assigned by his principal to go a-borrowing as the head of a delegation to United States for financial support for the recently launched ENERGY IMPLEMENTATION WORKING GROUP PLAN (ETWG). 

The Vice president who had no choice collected the baton to run the BORROWERS RACE which was championed in the past Seven years by the retired General BUT WOULD HE BREAST THE TAPE?

At his whims and caprices, the Major General deprived his deputy to function as Chairman of the (NEC), BUT constituted at various times irrelevant economic groups to spite him!

It is on record that the Vice President's Economic Recovery Plan Growth (ERPG), saved the nation from an embarrassing double economic recession between Quarter 4, 2015 and Quarter 3, 2016!

The VP who has been in Washington DC since 1st September 2022, would lobby top Biden Ministers, President of the World Bank Group and his US counterpart Kamala Harris, if the Transition Plan MUST MATERIALIZE!

It’s only in Nigeria’s Military Presidential System that a government would borrow to pay salaries and allowances to the very end of its TENURE and still have the audacity to campaign for CONTINUITY!

Patriotic Nigerians MUST URGENTLY SUPPORT THE BILL FOR A BRAND NEW CONSTITUTION THAT WILL PRODUCE A PRIME MINISTER THROUGH PARTICIPATORY REPRESENTATION ON 25TH FEBRUARY 2023!
