CHATHAM SHOULD NOT HAVE INVITED RECYCLED NIGERIAN POLITICIANS TO CHATTER AND LIE SHAMELESSLY TO THE WORLD!
The prestigious Chatham House London is under siege!
All dishonorable, desperate, despicable, recycled and spent political jobbers from Nigeria have besieged this honorable institution (on invitation?), to destroy its century-old very outstanding, sterling, impeccable and unrivalled image!
Has Chatham suddenly forgotten Nigeria's unpalatable history from the colonial era till independence and post-independence military aberration and all negative International indexes in respect of this so-called giant of Africa?
Is Nigeria truly an independent, sovereign nation of positive international repute among the commonwealth comity of Nations of the world any longer?
Is Nigeria still not an appendage of foreign authorities and foreign powers even at 62 years of freedom from colonial slavery?
Why are Nigerian politicians so, so shameless? Since the dates for the unpopular 2023 General Elections were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), more than a year ago, the die-hard and addicted politicians have all been put into frenzy running from pillar to post in order to have a bite of a NATIONAL CAKE that no longer existed!
Is it true that the very fanatical, inordinate ambitious, mostly disreputable politicians frantically lobbied Chatham House for INVITATIONS?
DID CHATHAM SUDDENLY FORGET THE OBNOXIOUS MONEY-INDUCED PARTIES PRIMARIES!
Beginning with the political parties primaries up to election of candidates for all positions from the presidency to governorship, legislative at national, states and local government levels, it had been commotions upon disasters, violence, bloodshed for the TRANSIENT POSITIONS!
And yet, perpetrators of all on-going manner of heinous crimes – including the stone-age decapitation of human heads in desperate clamour for political positions have the audacity and effrontery to travel with large retinue of aides to civilized nations of the United Kingdom, United States of America, United Arab Emirates, flaunting “illicit wealth”, holding nocturnal meetings in foreign lands to decide the future of DOWNTRODDEN NIGERIANS AGAIN?
And whereas NIGERIA IS LADEN WITH ABOUT ₦ 77 TRILLION NAIRA in debt burden borrowed from virtually all the countries of the world – including EU AND UK as the old General, Muhammadu Buhari bows out 29th May 2023
CHATHAM HOUSE IS NOT A PLACE FOR CHARLATANS!

Chatham House has been a source of independent analysis trusted dialogue and influential ideas for 100 years and in this 21st century has continued to offer solutions to global challenges and actively seeking to empower the next generation to change the world.

QUESTION: Where do political charlatans from Nigeria fit into Chatham’s goals and aspirations as elucidated in the preceding paragraphs?
Why were Chatham doors opened to charlatan Nigerian presidential money bags candidates? Whose attention did they intend to attract at the prestigious institution?
With such an impeccable profile, this great institution should not condone deceitful leaders who had plundered the nation’s coffers and always covered their tracks when accused with glaring evidences and exhibits like the proverbial OSTRICH!
The very credible Royal Institute of International Affairs and non-profit-making outfit will never affirm bad products with bad profiles!
From all indications, the Nigerian presidential money-bags; Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso etc, “are money-miss-road” co-travellers who were in London only to pollute the social order of the United Kingdom’s bastion of democracy but have woefully failed!
While they were gallivanting and dramatizing in London amidst hoards of PROTESTERS, dynamites, explosives and gunshots reverberated across-the-length and breadth of Nigeria as party THUGS killed and maimed percieved members of the opposition and innocent citizens!
Between 1st to 20th January 2023, not less than 508 people were killed across Nigeria in election-related atrocities according to the Vanguard and Guardian newspapers publications and that citizens were at the mercy of kidnappers!
The Second Peace Accord initiated and sponsored by retired Major General Abdusalam Abubakar could not come to fruition because of accusations and counter-accusations by various stake holders. In all of these commotions Major General President Muhammadu Buhari is so flabbergasted just like all the LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENTS – policemen, soldiers et all, who are definitely handicapped and overstretched.
The question is how will Buhari hold free, fair, credible, acceptable and honorable Elections between February and March 2023 in the midst of these chaotic situation?
CHATHAM HOUSE IS NOT A PLACE FOR CHATTERING RABBLE-ROUSERS.

1) ‘Bola Tinubu: He snubbed Town Hall Meetings organised by a consortium of eminent Nigerian Journalists and junketed to hold a COMEDY AT CHATHAM HOUSE where he shared questions to a retinue of his lackeys! He denied all allegations of certificate forgery and drugs involvement in the USA but said he would build on BUHARI’S LEGACIES – which? Maybe of cluelessness and ineptitude!
2) PETER OBI: For the umpteenth time said he would divert Nigeria’s economy from CONSUMPTION to PRODUCTION! He said he was not corrupt in spite of the Panama Papers allegations that he had monies in millions of dollars stashed away from public eye on the private Island!
3) ATIKU ABUBAKAR: “I am the most qualified to be President of Nigeria! I will PRIVATIZE all critical assets – especially NNPCL and make MY FRIENDS RICH!
4) RABIU KWANKWASO: I am a Ph.D holder and not a Trader!
THE SOLUTION TO NIGERIA’S POLITICAL IMBROGLIO IS NOT HIDDEN IN HEAVEN!
If the old general could just wake up and muster the courage to call for a REFERENDUM to enact a UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUTION that will pave way for parliamentary elections and produce PARLIAMENTARIANS AND A PRIME MINISTER to douse all insecurity challenges of the last 22 years of the nation’s nascent democracy!
It’s never too late to make amends. A stitch in time saves nine!
