NEPAL PM ESCAPED DEATH FOR DESPISING GEN. Z YOUTHS – TINUBU CUT SHORT OVERSEAS HOLIDAY!
Nepal’s erstwhile Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is now counting his loses for despising Nepal YOUTHS whom he believed had no liver to organize any worthwhile protest against endemic acts of institutional corruption and nepotism!
He had said that by calling themselves the “Gen Z”, they seemed to believe they could demand whatever they wanted!
But to his chagrin and under 24 hours of notice, the YOUTHS whom he described as “spineless”, release mayhem on the country with violent ferocity on Monday 9th September 2025, in the capital, Kathmandu!
Demonstrators ransacked Oli’s private residence and destroyed furniture before setting it on fire.
The 73-year-old, has served Nepal thrice as Prime Minister, 2015-2016; 2018-2021; and 2024-2025. He also served in other various capacities as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Member of the Legislature Parliament and Leader of Opposition!
He deployed the police who employed live ammunition on protesters and killed at least 19 people, to further aggravate the already volatile situation.
But on Tuesday 10th September 2025, protesters who were provoked by the death of their colleagues set fire to the Parliament Building, Supreme Court and homes of several prominent politicians, as members of Oli’s cabinet quit and pressure mounted on the PM himself – ultimately leading to his resignation. The combined death toll from clashes on Monday and Tuesday reached 31!
NIGERIA’S PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU, CUT SHORT OVERSEAS HOLIDAY TRIP AND RETURNED HOME TUESDAY 16th SEPTEMBER 2025.
Tinubu’s first leg of his “annual leave” took him to his Alternate Country Home (France), on 4th September 2025, but while he enjoyed Lunch one afternoon at the Elysee Palace with President Macron, French Youths like their Nepal counterparts began massive protests which destabilize peace and security across the nation.
He quickly hurried out of the country and headed for Native Home (Nigeria), to avoid Nepal’s Shama Oli’s fate!
NIGERIA’S All Progressives Congress APC Administration had sat on a GUN-POWDER KEG in the past TEN YEARS in respect of leadership deficit of crisis management!
Late President Muhammadu Buhari suppressed the LEKKI TOLL GATE YOUTH PROTESTS IN 2020 (#EndSarsEnd Police Brutality), in spite of the fact that over 40 lives were lost!
TINUBU took over and also suppressed #EndBadGovernance Youth Protests, during which not less than19 souls perished in the August and December 2024 upheaval respectively!
And whereas the YOUTHS have Constitutional Rights To Speak Truth To Power!
Also in August 2024, eminent Nigerian Elders led by Chief Emeka Anyaoku, met with President Tinubu, submitted to him a Blue Print on how sanity could be restored to the nation with the establishment of a PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THROUGH REFERENDUM!
They suggested a time frame of NINE MONTHS to terminate at the end of his Second Year, 29th May 2025 but he ignored all entreaties but continued globe-trotting to shop for FOREIGN LOANS to stubbornly perpetrate Presidential System of Government on A DEVELOPING NATION AS NIGERIA! In his two years as President, not less than 10,000 people have been killed due to outrageous insecurity across the nation according to Amnesty International Statistics!
THERE IS FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN ALHAJI TINUBU!
For the information of the current APC Nigerian President, very few Nigerian Youths are NOT GENERATION Z – and YOUTHS constitute over 60% of the population of 220 million Citizens!
According to Media Reports, the “Gen Z” protests, considered the most widespread in Nepal’s modern history were triggered by A BLANKET GOVERNMENT-IMPOSED BAN ON FACEBOOK , INSTAGRAM, WHATSAPP, X, YOUTUBE AND 26 OTHER MAJOR SOCIAL-MEDIA PLATFORMS in a move that was widely criticized by Rights Groups in the past week!
CYBERCRIMES LAW IN NIGERIA DID NOT BAN FREE USE OF INTERNET FACILITIES BY CITIZENS!
Nigeria’s cybercrime law is the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc.) Act, 2015 as amended by the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc.) Act, 2024. This law criminalizes various offenses, including unauthorized access to computer systems, data forgery, computer fraud, cyberstalking, and the distribution of child pornography, with punishments ranging from fines to imprisonment. The 2024 amendment strengthens the legal framework to combat evolving cyber threats, and aims to align Nigeria’s cyber laws with international standards.
IN NEPAL POWER WAS OFFICIALLY HANDED TO FEMALE RETIRED CHIEF JUSTICE.
Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki took the oath as Prime Minister of the INTERIM GOVERNMENT OF NEPAL on Wednesday 11th September 2025, becoming the first woman to lead the country.
President Paudel administered the oath of office to Ms Karki at the Presidential Palace in a ceremony in Katmandu.
NEPAL GENZERS like their counterparts over the world are Youths who were born between 1997-2012, eighty per cent (80%) of who spend a significant proportion of their language skills from watching Social Media Platforms like TIK TOK, INSTAGRAM, ETC!
They are completely oblivious to the ANALOGUE AGE WHEN INTERNET WAS TEETHING WITH CABLE TV, LAND PHONES, TELEGRAPHS ETC.
POLITICAL PROTESTS AND PUBLIC UPRISINGS ARE NOT NEW IN NEPAL.
The country’s first mass uprising in 1990 (labelled “Jana Andolan I”) and the second in 2006 (“Jana Andolan II”) both called for major changes in the political system but the governments that followed failed to meet the public’s hopes for real reforms.
For the first time in the country’s history, a protest of this size has been entirely led by young people from Generation Z (born roughly between 1997 and 2012). Out of nearly 30 million people in Nepal, about 40% belong to this generation.
Making the situation even worse is an unemployment rate that exceeds 10% overall – and more than 20% for young people.
In a country where more than 73% of households own a mobile phone and about 55% of the population uses the internet, social media platforms are not only a source of entertainment and networking, but also a way of amplifying political voices – especially when traditional media is perceived as being biased towards political interests.
On 3rd September 2025, the government banned these social media platforms, citing a directive requiring companies to register in Nepal. The government justified the move as necessary to control fake news, misinformation and disinformation.
But Gen Z saw the ban as censorship. The frustration spreading on social media quickly turned into a nationwide uprising.
The government lifted the ban on 8th September 2025, but it could not save the coalition government.
OTHER ASIA COUNTRIES EXPERIENCED SIMILAR PROTESTS!
The protests in Nepal mirror similar movements led recently by young people elsewhere in Asia, especially Sri Lanka (2022); Bangladesh (2024),and Indonesia (2025).
IN FRANCE VIOLENT YOUTH PROTESTS WHICH HAS BECOME COMMONPLACE IN DECADES ERUPTED AGAIN IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT A YOUTH IS MR. PRESIDENT!
On the 10th September 2025, protests were staged in cities across France. Police move in to remove blockades and nearly 500 protesters arrested for obstructing highways, burned barricades and clashed sporadically with police on Wednesday in a show of anger against President Emmanuel Macron, the political elite and planned spending cuts.
Authorities deployed more than 80,000 security personnel across the country, removing barriers and spraying water hoses at demonstrators as tensions flared in several places.
THE WAY FORWARD FOR INSENSITIVE LEADERS ACROSS THE WORLD.
The 21st Century has provided great opportunities for the much-anticipated GENERATIONAL SHIFT IN VERSATILE DIGITAL INTERVENTIONS BY THE YOUTHS IN THE FIELDS OF INFORMATION, TECHNOLOGY, ECONOMY, ARTS, SCIENCES, AGRICULTURE, AVIATION, SPACE EXPLORATIONS ETC, THAT DEMANDED SUSTAINABLE CEREBRAL ENERGY!
The Old Political Foxes have had their Day and it’s time to bow out in Grace. The time of eyeing political offices as TROPHIES IS GONE!
Now is the time to roll up the sleeves for patriotic SERVICE through the right choice of System conducive to each Nation – especially in Africa, Asia and South America!
Alhaji BOLA TINUBU of Nigeria still has the opportunity to make the right choice of A ONE-HOUSE PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT from 2027 and write his name in Gold!
*HE AND HIS GENERATION OF SIT-TIGHT LEADERS HAVE HAD THEIR FILL!
*IT’S TIME TO GIVE WAY FOR THE GENZERS OR BE KICKED OUT IN DISGRACE!
