NIGERIA IS “BLESSED” WITH TWO PRESIDENTS – BOLA TINUBU AND NYESOME WIKE!
The Constitutionally-elected Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara will be reinstated on 18th September. 2025, and this is official!
On Saturday 30th August when the illegal Local Government Elections were held across the 23 LG Areas, the Number Two President, Mr. NYESOME WIKE, currently Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja made the startling announcement while voting at one of the polling booths.
His announcement has not been refuted by the Number One President Bola Tinubu or his Cabinet Minister of Information.
Going down the memory lane, Nigerians became conversant with the unruly behaviors of Mr. Wike (though a staunch member of the major opposition party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), to the ruling government), wields so much executive power but has never been called to order in spite of his excesses.
During the 2023. Presidential Election that brought the Number One to power, Wike was the arrowhead of the political machinery that gave. Mr. Tinubu victory. In the Rivers State.
In spite of his brazen anti-party activities, the PDP has not been able to expel him to date because HE HOLDS THE ENTIRE EXECUTIVE BY THE JUGULAR!
Wike has always boasted that he had single-handedly financed the Party since inception in times of crisis and for this reason the party hierarchy has been unable to discipline him.
During the last National Executive Council (NEC), meeting, he disagreed with the confirmation of the acting Chairman to substantive status and boasted that he would hold “a parallel convention” contrary to the decision of the party for the choice of Ibadan on 15th-16th November 2025.
EXCERPTS OF MEDIA REPORT OF WIKE’S PRESIDENTIAL ANNOUNCEMENT AFTER CASTING HIS VOTE!
1) He announced that the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, will be reinstated on 18th September 2025, because the coast was now clear for the lifting of the State of Emergency declared in the State.
2) Wike made the declaration shortly after casting his vote at about 11:00 am in Unit 007, Ward 9, Rumuepirikom, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area during the LG Area Elections conducted by the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC.
3) The election, which held across the 319 wards and 23 local government areas of the state, was, however, marred by widespread voter apathy, late arrival of materials, and reports of missing original result sheets.
4) Most polling units witnessed low turnout of voters, especially in urban centers, while some rural communities recorded relatively better participation.
5) Polls were conducted without the use of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, sparking criticism from observers and some political actors.
6) Political Observers expressed worries over Voter Apathy as Fubara, followers shun voting in Rivers LGA poll.
7) Wike expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the elections. He stated that the successful conclusion of the local polls now makes way for the lifting of the state of emergency earlier declared in the State.
8) The Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), won 20 of the 23 LG Seats.
9) And Wike said, “the coast was clear for the State of Emergency to be lifted now that the local government has Representatives and the State Government its own elected officials, so we are good to go.”
10) Although he queried the non-usage of BVAS in the conduct of the election but opined that the peaceful nature of the exercise was a sign of growing democratic maturity in the state.
EXCERPTS OF THE STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE ON RIVERS STATE EMERGENCY DECLARATION BY THE NUMBER ONE PRESIDENT IN MARCH 2025! – “VOICE OF JACOB, HANDS OF ESAU!’
President Tinubu Declares State of Emergency in Rivers State on Tuesday 18th March 2025.
“Fellow Nigerians, I feel greatly disturbed at the turn we have come to regarding the political crisis in Rivers State.
“Like many of you, I have watched with concern the development with the hope that the parties involved would allow good sense to prevail at the soonest, but all that hope burned out without any solution to the crisis.
“On February 28, 2025, the Supreme Court, in a judgment in respect of about eight consolidated appeals concerning the political crisis in Rivers State, based on several grave unconstitutional acts and disregard of rule of law that have been committed by the Governor of Rivers State as shown by the evidence before it pronounced in very clear terms:
“a government cannot be said to exist without one of the three arms that make up the government of a state under the 1999 Constitution as amended. In this case the head of the executive arm of the government has chosen to collapse the legislature to enable him to govern without the legislature as a despot. As it is there is no government in Rivers State.”
“The above pronouncement came after a catalogue of judicial findings of constitutional breaches against the Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
“Going Forward in their judgment, and having found and held that 27 members of the House who had allegedly defected
“are still valid members of Rivers State House of Assembly and cannot be prevented from participating in the proceedings of that House by the 8th Respondent (that is, the Governor) in cohorts with four members”
“The Supreme Court then made some orders to restore the state to immediate constitutional democracy. These orders include the immediate passing of an Appropriation Bill by the Rivers State House of Assembly which up till now has not been facilitated.
“The latest security reports made available to me show that between yesterday and today there have been disturbing incidents of vandalization of pipelines by some militant without the governor taking any action to curtail them. I have, of course given stern order to the security agencies to ensure safety of lives of the good people of Rivers State and the oil pipelines.
“With all these and many more, no good and responsible President will standby and allow the grave situation to continue without taking remedial steps prescribed by the Constitution to address the situation in the state, which no doubt requires extraordinary measures to restore good governance, peace, order and security.
“In the circumstance, having soberly reflected on and evaluated the political situation in Rivers State and the Governor and Deputy Governor of Rivers State having failed to make a request to me as President to issue this proclamation as required by section 305(5) of the 1999 Constitution as amended, it has become inevitably compelling for me to invoke the provision of section 305 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended, to declare a state of emergency in Rivers State with effect from today, 18th March, 2025 and I so do.
“By this declaration, the Governor of Rivers State, Mr Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, Mrs Ngozi Odu and all elected members of the House of Assembly of Rivers State are hereby suspended for an initial period of six months.
“In the meantime, I hereby nominate Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas (Rtd) as Administrator to take charge of the affairs of the state in the interest of the good people of Rivers State. For the avoidance of doubt, this declaration does not affect the judicial arm of Rivers State, which shall continue to function in accordance with their constitutional mandate.
“The Administrator will not make any new laws. He will, however, be free to formulate regulations as may be found necessary to do his job, but such regulations will need to be considered and approved by the Federal Executive Council and promulgated by the President for the state.
“This declaration has been published in the Federal Gazette, a copy of which has been forwarded to the National Assembly in accordance with the Constitution. It is my fervent hope that this inevitable intervention will help to restore peace and order in Rivers State by awakening all the contenders to the constitutional imperatives binding on all political players in Rivers State in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
“Long live a united, peaceful, secure and democratic Rivers State in particular and the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a whole.”
TINUBU COULD DECLARE STATE OF EMERGENCY BUT NOT SUSPEND CONSTITUTIONALLY ELECTED OFFICERS!
In spite of global condemnations, he stuck to his guns to the end with the illusion that he would pocket Rivers State again in 2027 through Nyesome Wike, past Governor/God-Father!
BUT he had successfully “dug his own grave” except he repented and obey Divine Instructions to establish A DEMOCRATIC PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT BEFORE 2027 – just as he was quick to bulldoze the FOUR TAX REFORM BILLS FOR EMERGENCY APPROVAL!
Further delay could be disastrous!
[EXPECT A PRIME MINISTER IN NIGERIA NOW!]
