OYO TEACHER’S BEHEADER WILL ALSO BE BEHEADED!

When the video of a School Teacher being beheaded by terrorists in 21st  century Nigeria surfaced online, the chagrin, repulsiveness, bewilderment and utter disgust of the insignificance of CITIZENS LIVES, got tongues wagging in respect of the quality of the nation’s leadership!

In Alhaji Tinubu’s 3-year APC Administration, not less than 15,000 people have been killed, murdered, slaughtered or beheaded by terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, gunmen according to AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL NIGERIA (AI) – and  yet this very desperate politician and his cohorts keep up institutional propaganda that it would pass!

And whereas the United States of America declared Nigeria “A country of Particular Concern” (CPC), where GENOCIDE WAS REGULARLY UNLEASHED ON CHRISTIANS and on Christmas Day 2025, deployed troops to bomb ISIS Terrorists positions in North West Sokoto State – an operation which eliminated scores of them!

HAS BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS GROUP UNLEASHED ITS IDEOLOGY ON SOUTH WEST NIGERIA?

When Teacher Michael Oyedokun, a Nigerian Christian, was beheaded on 15th May 2026, political watchers almost speculated that an arm of the Boko Haram Terrorist Group could be responsible until more facts emerged that the devious crime was perpetrated by some men in army uniforms!

 And in spite of the gravity of the national calamity and the trauma caused across the world through the online publication of the beheaded teacher which the President flippantly described as “barbaric”, it took 14 Days for a Federal Government Delegation to physically commiserate with families of victims on 29th May 2026! 

WHY WAS THE OYO TEACHER BEHEADED?  

Mathematics Teacher, Michael Oyedokun was beheaded by armed bandits in captivity after being abducted during coordinated attacks on schools in the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, near Ogbomoso on 15th May, 2026.

 The attackers filmed and circulated his execution, though a SPECIFIC MOTIVE OR RANSOM DEMAND PRIOR TO THE BEHEADING WAS NOT PUBLICLY RELEASED.

According to media reports, heavily armed attackers dressed in military camouflage and on motor cycles simultaneously raided three schools, including the Baptist Nursery and Primary School in Yawota and Community High School in Ahoro-Esinele near Ogbomoso.

Residents described Oyedokun as a committed teacher and Christian who served his community with dedication. Church leaders and civil society groups have called for the release of the abducted victims and for the arrest of those responsible. 

Local officials and education advocates said the attack has renewed concerns about the security of schools in parts of Southwest Nigeria, where kidnappings for ransom have become more frequent in recent years. A pastor in Ogbomoso, speaking during a prayer gathering for the victims, urged authorities to increase intelligence operations and improve protection for vulnerable communities. 

The incident has also drawn comparisons with other religiously charged killings in Nigeria, including the 2022 killing of college student Deborah Emmanuel in Sokoto state. 

As protests continued, residents and religious leaders appealed to federal and state authorities to secure schools, rescue the abducted victims, and bring the perpetrators to justice. 

Families, colleagues, and students in Oyo state continued to mourn Oyedokun, while prayer gatherings were held throughout the state for the safe return of the remaining hostages.

Dozens of individuals were reported to have been confirmed abducted, including at least 39 pupils and seven teachers which included pre-nursery, nursery and primary school children aged 2-3 year old!

A woman with her baby strapped on her back was also among the unfortunate victims of these heartless men who have not even made demands for ransoms as at the time of this publication.

An assistant headmaster was also reportedly shot dead during the initial raid according to various news report.

 Oyo State authorities, along with local vigilantes and the military were reported to have launched rescue operations to free the captives and have arrested several suspects and LOCAL INFORMANTS ACCUSED OF AIDING THE ATTACKERS!

The family of the deceased teacher appealed to the public to stop sharing the traumatic footage of Oyedokun’s insensible and unwarranted murder online. 

 OYO STATE POLICE COMMAND IS INVESTIGATING THE VIRAL VIDEO!

The Command’s spokesperson, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, has disclosed to Channels Television that the abducted teacher was among several victims kidnapped by gunmen alongside students during attacks on schools in the Yawota and Esiele communities of Oriire Local Government Area near Ogbomoso.

 Governor Seyi Makinde of OYO STATE has confirmed the killing of one of the abducted teachers and has visited the Communities to commiserate with the families of the victims.

In a statement, he said the DRONES purchased last year by his administration for security surveillance would be fully assembled and operational in June 2026.

 Governor Seyi Makinde procured two Diamond DA 42 MNG Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft (drones) for ₦7.76 billion. The aircraft—outfitted with advanced thermal imaging and real-time feeds—arrived in Nigeria and are undergoing assembly at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) hangar in Lagos, pending full operational deployment.

 The Oyo State Executive Council approved the ₦7.76 billion procurement as a multi-layered security shield. 

The DA 42 MNG models have capabilities to patrol continuously for 8 to 10 hours and are equipped with AI-driven analytics and surveillance gadgets to spot targets from high and low altitudes.

The aircraft will provide aerial cover for the Amotekun Forest Rangers, specifically monitoring vulnerable borders and forested areas across the state. Two dedicated airstrips are in development in Out and Igbeti to support these operations.

Engineers from China are completing final system installations at the Lagos NAF hangar and the aircraft and drones are expected to be fully functional by early June.

 Following a spike in kidnapping and banditry in the state, the governor faced some criticism regarding the timeline of the deployment but reiterated that the project’s final stages are highly prioritized to eliminate security blind spots. 

QUESTION:

Will the rescue of the kidnapped victims depend on Drones assemblage?

In the meantime police had commenced a detailed examination of the video, they are also collaborating with other and the state government to secure the release of the abducted nursery babies, students and teachers.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS ORDERED RECRUITMENT OF 1,000 FOREST RANGERS TO BEEF UP SECURITY IN THE COMMUNITIES!

Alhaji Tinubu’s Delegation led by his Chief of Staff, included, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu;  Chief of Army Staff, the IGP and several senior security personnel.

 Yawota community in the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State is located directly on the fringes of a massive forested belt that is heavily exploited by criminal elements but closely monitored by state security. 

The area shares immediate borders with the OLD OYO NATIONAL PARK AXIS and because of the community’s close proximity to the forest reserve, the Nigerian government has been working to set up a military base and recruit 1,000 forest guards to secure the area and patrol the forest route.

THE BOKO HARAM ILLITERACY IDEOLOGY!

Boko Haram’s official name is Jama’at Ahl al-Sunna li al-Da’wa wa al-Jihad (JAS), which translates from Arabic to “Group of the People of Sunnah for Dawah and Jihad” or “People Committed to the Prophet’s Teachings and Jihad”.

The name “Boko Haram” is a Hausa term popularly interpreted to mean “Western EDUCATION IS FORBIDDEN”, which locals gave to the sect to reflect its core teachings and ideology for the rejection of Western Influence and Education!

The group aggressively rejects Western civilization, culture, and secular education. It views Western values as the root cause of corruption, moral decay, and socio-economic disparity in Nigeria.

Its primary political goal is to overthrow the current secular Nigerian government and replace it with a regime governed by strict and pure Sharia (Islamic law) which relies on a radical interpretation of Islam, enforcing strict rules and often utilizing extreme violence not only against non-Muslims, but also against Muslims who disagree with their extremist views.

They debuted in Maiduguri, North East Nigeria in 2009 and have gradually spread to other Northern States!
