BUHARI HAS NO CHOICE THAN TO SUPPORT DANGOTE PETROLEUM REFINERY!

ZION B-BC   NEWSLETTER.

(Looking at Nigeria and the World's Political System From a Godly Perspective).

A Publication of the Zion Faith Bible-Believing Church Kpeyegyi Abuja Nigeria {Vol. 11.NO 458.  22nd  May, 2022.} “…ONLY The Truth, Will Set You Free! (John.8:32).  PRAY & FAST EVERY WEDNESDAY TO STOP BLOODSHED IN NIGERIA!

BUHARI HAS NO CHOICE THAN TO SUPPORT DANGOTE PETROLEUM REFINERY!

If Alhaji Aliko Dangote had succumbed to President Muhammadu Buhari’s entreaties and pressures to locate his 3 million metric tonnes per annum Fertilizer Complex and the 650,000 barrels per day Petrochemical Refinery in land-locked Northern Nigeria instead of Lekki, Lagos, the nation would have seized to be rated as Africa’s country with the highest Gross Domestic Product (GDP), according to international perception index!

The business magnate who had put several years of professional research into the entire project which must be accessed by air land and sea, pursued his ambition to locate the magnificent project complex at Lekki Free Trade Zone in Ibeju, Lekki Lagos, Southern Nigeria.
With great foresight, the first phase of the fertilizer project took off Tuesday 22nd March with the commissioning of USD$2.5 billion dollars Fertilizer Plant by the President and export of the it’s products have begun in earnest.
Foreign exchange earnings through these exports should contribute about USD$ 400-500 million dollars into the economy in view of the great demands with employment opportunities of qualified and able-bodied Nigerians in thousand of thousands!

The massive production should also generate adequate domestic consumption and enhance farmers outputs especially now that the Buhari Administration still believes that it could improve on it diversification to agriculture agenda drive before leaving office in 2023.

THE DANGOTE PETROLEUM REFINERY WHICH IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION SHOULD BE READY BEFORE THE DEPARTURE OF THE MAJOR GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI IN 2023.

From conception to actualization the Dangote Petrochemical and Fertilizer conglomerate was a project very dear to the heart of de-tribalized Nigerian and richest man in Africa, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, owner and financier of the
Left to Mr. President who doubles as the Minister of Petroleum, the project should have been sited in the heart of Northern Nigeria rather than Lagos, the commercial capital which the shrewd and detribalized Nigerian captain of industry feasibility assessment had adjudged as the most appropriate, geo-physical and eco-friendly landscape in the Southern Nigeria!
Northern Nigeria has been desperate to explore and exploit its entire landscape in search of crude oil in order to prove that Southern Nigeria did not have monopoly of Crude!

During the period of the military interregnum it was rumored that oil was discovered in several States but till date there are no physical existence of crude oil in any part of the region!
In February 2020 when Nigeria's Minister of State for Petroleum Resources announced that ONE BILLION BARRELS {1billion),  of crude oil was discovered in Gongola Basin, Nigeria’s North East, it resonated like a comedian’s “April Fool” joke; and for two years on, according to media reports, neither the Federal Government nor the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC),
alluded to the existence of any oil project of such magnitude in
Gongola Basin!

GONGOLA BASIN PETROLEUM EXPLORATION IS BUHARI’S PET PROJECT!

We also have it on good authority that the president had passionately championed the Gongola project in more than 40 years but it was not until October 2019, that NNPC announced that crude oil, gas and condensates were discovered in the Kolmani River region at a border community between Bauchi and Gombe States!
It was also revealed that some 19 Northern States in 2007 won Oil Prospecting Licence in  the Gongola Basin for the sole purpose of exploration and exploitation of Crude but with no positive results to date!
Almost all Nigerians believe that President Major General Muhammadu Buhari is the best man to handle the petroleum sector of the nation in view of his “wealth of experience” of several decades!
But under his watch it seems that his lieutenants who should be trusted, tested experts and technocrats in the field of crude oil dredging, exploration, exploitation and exportation for commercial benefits have been compromised in view of the systemic corruption which had produced several portfolio billionaires from the very sensitive sector of the Petroleum Industry of the Nigerian economy!

Have they all been righteous servants? Can they claim innocence in the allegations that 91% of the foreign exchange earner crude was being stolen by some syndicates?
Beginning from his military career days to date the  petroleum sector has suffered horrible corruption orchestrated even institutionally by stakeholders and key players to the extent that those oil billionaires in Nigeria have surreptitiously taken over the government and formed a cabal around him!

DANGOTE REFINERY COULD NOT HAVE DEBUTED AT A BETTER TIME THAN THIS!

Dangote Petroleum Refinery is covering a land area of approximately 2,635 hectares which is about six times the size of Victoria Island. The 650,000 barrels per day (BPD) integrated refinery project still under construction in the Lekki Free Zone near Lagos Nigeria is expected to be Africa's biggest oil refinery and the world's  biggest single-train facility.

The Refinery will meet 100% of the Nigerian requirement of all refined products and also  have a surplus of each of these products for export. Dangote Petroleum Refinery is a multibillion-dollar project that will create a market for USD$11 billion dollars per annum of Nigerian crude. It is designed to process Nigerian crude with the ability to also process other crudes.

The refinery alone has a 400 MW power plant that is able to meet the total power requirement of Ibadan Disco. It is being built at a cost of uUSD$19 billion dollars in Lagos and has 4.74 billion litres storage capacity and that 75% of its products will be moved by sea within Nigeria.
The project has been delayed by several years and the cost has shot to United States $19 billion dollars from earlier estimate of between USD12 to USD $14 dollars. The refinery should have commenced in 2013 and finished in 2016 if the projection had been right.
Before now Nigeria was Africa’s biggest oil producer and exporter but depended entirely on fuel imports after allowing it's significant refining capacity of 445,000 bpd to become dilapidated over several decades.

WILL FOSSIL FUEL GIVE WAY TO RENEWABLE ENERGY LIKE SOLAR AND WIND TURBINE?

As soon as Dangote expressed his intention to divert to oil and gas, business gurus faulted the venture which they believed would be grounded in no time in view of advanced technology in solar and turbine, which innovation in developed countries have produced carbon-emission-free vehicles/engines and that
fossil fuel (coal, oil, and natural gas), which was responsible for greenhouse emissions would be analogue!
We regard this position as very uninformed because developed countries are also still using fossil fuels to run their trains the factories alongside other energy sources like gas and electric.

We have said it over and over again that fossil fuel will continue to produce Man’s Energy Needs as long as the Earth Remains and play major roles in the upliftment of human resources and development.

Let's assume that the CLIMATE CHANGE could be supported through renewable energies what about intensified Space Exploration Pollution which deplete the OZONE LAYER faster than fossil fuel emission from the earth?

PERENNIAL FUEL SCARCITY WILL FIZZLE OUT WITH DANGOTE REFINERY!

Although Nigerians are still experiencing fuel scarcity through deliberate artificial manipulation by marketers associations, it is believed that the process is a deliberate plan by government and petroleum dealers to set  the stage for Dangote Refinery to break-even when it comes on stream in the last quarter of 2022 and conform with international market forces!
In the third quarter of 2021, the Federal Government mooted the idea of deregulation of Petroleum downstream Sector but quickly reversed the obnoxious policy because Civil Society Organisations, the Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), promised to ground the economy and also the because contentious policy was too close to the 2022 pre-election year!
Nigerians should support the upliftment of our oil industry which will boost the economy positively through the DANGOTE GENUINE INVESTMENT AS WE LOOK FORWARD TO A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUTION THROUGH REFERENDUM AND VOTE FOR A PRIME MINISTER IN THE YEAR 2023 TO DOUSE ALL RESTRUCTURING AGITATIONS FOR TRUE FEDERALISM!

“With God all things are possible!”

[WATCH OUT FOR A NIGERIAN PRIME MINISTER – NOT A PRESIDENT IN 2023!]
