CAN AN OCCULT-AIDED POLITICIAN BE PRODUCTIVE IN OFFICE?
There is a two-term Minister in Major General President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet and he is a CERTIFIED CULTIST!
His name is Chris Ngige who created more problems than solutions to the ever nagging challenges in the critical labor, employment and productivity sector of the Nigerian economy!
Ngige, now seventy years old is a medical doctor by profession but because he did not make much money he coveted the lucrative terrain of Nigerian politics and in a desperate move decided to start from the very top position of governorship of his home State, Anambra!
It was obvious that the Herculean Job demanded the expertise of power brokers and in the process of negotiations a cabal headed by prominent businessman Chief Chris Uba came to his rescue in order to achieve a long jump task.
Okija Shrine or Ogwuwu Akpu is a dreaded shrine in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, Eastern Nigeria. Over the years the shrine became a bee-hive of activities for inordinate ambitious politicians who MUST attain position of authority by hook or crook!
In the year 2003, Chris Ngige visited the shrine in company of his political godfather Chris Uba to take an oath of allegiance that if he became Governor of Anambra State, substantial amounts of monies would be paid to them on monthly basis throughout his tenure in office as compensation!
The cabal would also appoint all the commissioners, special assistants, chief security officer, personal assistants etc, and whereas the agreement we had was that I would run the government unfettered and give good governance to my people in Anambra State.
They insisted on loyalty and suggested Okija Shrine with a threat to
shoot me if I refused to follow them!
When he became Governor he reneged on the agreement because according to him he was “a staunch Catholic” and the cabal ousted him from office in 2006 a year before the end of his four- year tenure in a most despicable manner…. he was kidnapped from the Government House with the connivance of the Police to an unknown destination and eventually forced to resign!
From thence forth he never went back to the stethoscope but struggled to get into the Senate in 2011 and later into ministerial positions after losing out on several other bids to have a second shot at the States governor’s position!
NGIGE AS BUHARI’S MINISTER: 2015-2023.
Ngige's two-term ministerial stint was characterized with myriads of controversies, ineptitude, high-handedness, haughtiness, arrogance, pride etc, especially in mediation of trade disputes between government and its work force!
At a stage, he virtually took over the Ministry of Education during the eight- month-old ASUU strike staged by university lecturers of federal institutions and at the tail end took the Union to the Federal Industrial Court for an arbitration which forced them back to work without payments for the period of the strike!
The NGN30000 naira minimum wage negotiated and agreed with Labour Unions was reneged especially by State Governments which complained of fund shortages which never affected salaries of State Governors, State Commissioners, Special Assistants Advises and all government functionaries on monthly basis!
The president who should ensure that all workers get the benefits of their labour has kept quiet as usual and just waiting at the departure lounge and leave the economy in total chaos!
NGIGE PAID NGN100 MILLION NAIRA TO BECOME NEXT APC PRESIDENT!
In spite of his chains of abysmal failures in office Chris Ngige paid the humongous fee of NGN100 million naira to vie for the position of the next President of Nigeria but had to withdraw at the last minute when he realized that the money would be forfeited if he was not the chosen candidate!
THE MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT IS SCORED ZERO BY THE CITIZENS!
Under. Ngige’s and Buhari’s watch in 2018, 11 million jobs were lost and yet Buhari promised to take 100 million citizens out of poverty cycle within 10 years that is between 2020 and 2030.
He first pledged in July 2019 in a second-term manifesto projection and repeatedly through propagandas by members of his kitchen cabinet.
However the WORLD POVERTY CLOCK (WPC), had earlier indexed Nigeria as the poverty capital of the world!
To make matters worse National Bureau of Statistics categorically stated that no fewer than 133 million Nigerians representing 63% of the population were currently living in multidimensional poverty!
THERE IS CORRELATION BETWEEN UNEMPLOYMENT, UNDEREMPLOYMENT, JOBLESSNESS, POVERTY, ILLITERACY AND INSECURITY!. Please share on internet and all social network portals for wider coverage.
Nigerians demand for a UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUTION THROUGH REFERENDUM in order to elect PARLIAMENTARIANS from the CONSTITUENCIES and choose from among the winning PARTY, A PRIME MINISTER! We will not keep QUIET!
