TERRORISTS ABETTORS IN NIGERIA PREFER DEATH TO POVERTY!

The very notorious Jilli Border Town Market which had been under close surveillance by security forces suddenly went up in flames as Nigeria Air Force planes dropped bombs in all directions on Saturday 11th April 2026!

Although, it was “officially closed” five years ago (2021), according to Governor Zulum of Bornu State, this latest air and ground strikes proved that the purported closure was mere declaration.

According to media reports, on that fateful day, a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) airstrike, conducted as part of anti-terror operations, struck the Jilli market on the border between Borno and Yobe states, resulting in significant casualties. 

While the military described the operation as a “precision airstrike” against a terrorist enclave, local reports and humanitarian groups suggest that dozens to over 200 civilians were killed or injured! The Market located along the border between Gubio (Borno) and Geidam (Yobe) local government areas and the military and Yobe state government indicated the airstrike targeted a known stronghold of Boko Haram terrorists and their logistics hubs.

 Initial reports indicate scores dead, with some local estimates suggesting up to 200 people (traders and civilians) were killed or wounded in the bombing.

Survivors and local sources stated that the market was crowded during trading hours when the bombing occurred, raising concerns over target identification and intelligence.

DEATH HAS BECOME MEANINGLESS TO POVERTY-STRICKEN NIGERIANS!

The massive downtrodden population of Nigeria have been institutionally impoverished to the point that to them, death seems like an insignificant issue!

*THEY WOULD RATHER SCOOP GUSHING INFLAMMABLE PMS (PETROL) FROM FALLEN TRUCKS AT THE RISK OF AN INFERNO FOR SURVIVAL THAN WAIT FOR OFFICIAL DIVIDENDS THAT COULD ONLY DOUBLE THE IDENTIFIED WORLD BANK’S 133 MILLION MULTI-DIMENSIONALLY-POOR NIGERIANS!

*THEY WOULD RATHER BECOME SERFS AND PAY TAXES TO TERRORISTS THAN TO CONSECUTIVE AVARICIOUS, EGOCENTRIC CIVILIAN ADMINISTRATIONS WHICH CATER ONLY FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR CRONIES. 

QUESTION:

SHOULD TERRORISM BECOME AN ACCEPTABLE CULTURE OF NIGERIAN LIFE?

The genesis of the unfortunate disaster which led to loss of unspecified number of human lives at JILL MARKET, can be traced to civilian fanatic religious support for Book Harem Insurgents in 2009 when they attacked and destroyed several Police establishments and installations in retaliation for their slain leader, Mohammed Yusuf but were prevented from arrests by the various communities which acted as Human Shields for them!

AND in spite of glaring acts of terrorism committed, law enforcement agents treaded softly for FEAR OF COLLATERAL DAMAGES! AND THIS HAD BEEN THE PATTERN FOR 17 YEARS!

These ENEMIES OF STATE now control several Local Government Areas according to Amnesty International (AI) Nigeria and have remained UNTOUCHABLE over the years for fear of killing innocent people along with them!

Facts on ground:

*Jill is a border market between Yoke and Bornu – North East Nigeria.

*NAF Strike – Saturday evening, 11th April 2026!

*Purportedly Closed by Bornu Governor Five years ago.

*Previous Strikes involving collateral damages – 2022, 2024, 2025!

*Notorious for trading with terrorists/bandits in over 15 years!

The Yobe State government has also confirmed that the bombed Jilli Market was being used as a stronghold by Boko Haram terrorists.

NAF OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON JILLI MARKET BOMBING!

As of April 13-14, 2026, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed that it is investigating reports of civilian casualties following an airstrike conducted on April 11, 2026, in the Jilli area, located along the Borno-Yobe border. 

DETAILS OF NAF's OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

* NAF confirmed the initiation of an investigation into allegations that an airstrike meant for terrorists hit a local market.

*That the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) directed the immediate activation of the Civilian Harm Accident and Investigation Cell (CHAI-Cell), which has been deployed to the site for a fact-finding mission.

*NAF also stated it treats reports of civilian harm with the utmost seriousness, reiterating a commitment to professionalism, accountability and transparency.

*NAF confirmed that initial reports suggested the targeted operation was a "precision strike" against terror elements in the Jilli axis, which is known to be a corridor for insurgents, according to military sources.

*The security organization maintained that protecting civilians remains central to their operations and promised to work with local authorities to establish the facts. 

*The incident reportedly resulted in dozens of civilian injuries and deaths at the market and thorough investigation will ascertain the exact circumstances and the extent of the damage. 

*That the operation followed sustained intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions over the Bindul-Jilli axis, a known corridor for insurgents according to military sources.

BREAKING NEWS. 16TH APRIL 2026. - 744 DERADICALIZED VOTES FOR TINUBU IN 2027!

A total of 744 repentant terrorists have graduated from the Federal Government’s De-radicalization, Rehabilitation and Re-integration Camp under Operation Safe Corridor Program.

Media reports state that most of the participants were from Borno (597), followed by Yobe (58), Kano (15), Bauchi (12), and Adamawa (10), Abia (2), Akwa Ibom (1), Anambra (2), Ebonyi (3), Enugu (1), Katsina (3), Kebbi (1), Kogi (5), Nasarawa (4), Niger (2), Plateau (2), and Sokoto (2).

The group also included foreign nationals: one each from Burkina Faso and Cameroon, two from Chad, and four from the Niger Republic.

This program was initiated about 10 years ago by the late President Muhammadu Buhari’s Administration.

At the graduation ceremony held in Gombe, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, said the programme is a strategic effort to address the root causes of insurgency, stressing it is not an amnesty but a measure to reduce reoffending and curb extremist recruitment.

“This is not a reward but a deliberate approach to reducing violence, weakening recruitment pipelines, and fostering long-term stability,” he said.

He noted that combining military operations with rehabilitation is key to achieving lasting peace, urging the graduates to embrace reintegration and shun violence.

The coordinator of Operation Safe Corridor, Brigadier General Yusuf Ali, said participants underwent psychosocial support, vocational training, and reorientation programmes to prepare them for reintegration, describing it as a collective responsibility.

“This process is about rebuilding identity, restoring values, and preparing individuals to return as responsible members of society,” he said.

Ali added that the programme equips participants with the skills needed to reintegrate and contribute positively to national development, noting that reintegration requires collective support from government, communities, and families.

DERADICALIZATION OF TERRORISTS – EFFORTS IN FUTILITY! (APRIL 12 2026).

While Operation Safe Corridor was putting final touches to the “graduation ceremony of deradicalized terrorists” this April, AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL (AI) NIGERIA says at least 1,100 people were abducted in Northern Nigeria within three months, warning of worsening insecurity and failure by authorities to protect lives.

At least 1,100 people were abducted across northern Nigeria between January and April 2026, Amnesty International has said, warning that the scale and pattern of the attacks reflect a deepening security crisis and a failure of authorities to protect vulnerable communities.

In a statement, the organisation said those abducted are often subjected to extreme violence and inhumane conditions. “Those abducted are frequently subjected to torture, starvation, amputation, rape, and forced to witness or commit atrocities,” Amnesty said, adding that many victims remain in captivity for months under harsh conditions. The group noted that the abductions, largely driven by ransom demands, have become widespread across rural communities and camps for internally

Under international human rights law, the authorities have obligation to protect lives and ensure that those suspected of perpetrating these killings are held to account, as well as to provide victims with access to justice and effective remedies.

AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL NIGERIA has been monitoring the banditry attacks and clashes by herders and farmers since 2016 and, in 2020, investigated the authorities’ failure to protect rural communities from attacks.

QUESTIONS.

*Why would Defense Headquarters continue this program which backfired in the past when many “de-radicalized” terrorists decamped and returned to their VOMIT and unleashed worse havocs on innocent citizens?

*How much did it cost desperate Tinubu to BANK ROLL the re-election strategy for 2027?

*What steps are in place to monitor those killers as they step into freedom WHILE THEIR TRAUMATIZED VICTIMS ARE LANGUISHING IN IDP CAPS?

*Will the foreign nationals among them be given citizenship status?

President Tinubu has no regard for human lives! Would this type of wickedness occur in A ONE-HOUSE PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT?
